The 2nd stop was during the Zydeco Breakfast on a Saturday morning and I would leave 1 star for that experience. People lining up outside before they open at 0800 and then there is a $10.00 cover charge per person. The music was good but a little too loud (if it's too loud, you're too old). Skip the endless mimosas. They're mixed up in pitchers diluted with a ton of ice and then poured into your cup. The food was atrocious - all our orders came out cold and the biscuits were hockey pucks. They automatically add 20% gratuities to all checks. $160.00 breakfast for 4? Never again.

Their crust was an interesting saltine cracker taste and texture, just odd in our opinion. Atmosphere was okay. Our waitress kept up with us and she was nice so no complaints there. We got a cheese and a pepperoni and pricing for what we got seemed reasonable, if you got a specialty they started getting up there.

The burrata is still great with the doughy bread sticks The cookie batter banana pie was unfortunately delicious which I had no choice but to eat it all. Would like it a little less sweet but really nice mix. Biscoff, banana pudding, and cheesecake. Just mmmm. The beignets are great too. The girl was by herself doing everything and I mean everything. It's consistently decent and worth trying if you're in the area. One thing they absolutely get right is the beer--it's hands down the coldest in town, which is a huge plus. The biggest drawback is the restaurant itself. It's very small, so it often feels overcrowded, and the interior is dark and has a worn, somewhat dirty appearance. A brighter, more updated atmosphere would make a big difference and make the dining experience much more enjoyable. Overall, the food is solid enough that I'll come back, especially for a cold beer and a pizza, but the atmosphere keeps it from being more than a 3-star experience. The service has always been excellent!!!

We were seated in a booth, which would've been great, but it was right next to a large fish tank. That turned into a steady stream of kids running back and forth to look at the fish. Nothing against kids at all, but that particular booth would be better suited for families rather than couples without children. Just something the restaurant might want to think about. On the positive side, our waitress was excellent, attentive, friendly, and on top of everything. We ordered the Pizza Village Special (no olives), and that's where they really delivered. The pizza was very good, thin, crispy crust with great flavor. Exactly what you want when you come here. Bottom line: good food, good service, just be mindful of where you're seated if you're looking for a quieter meal.

They have a slightly sweet flavor that sets them apart, but it works. I usually balance it out with a Voodoo pizza, which is a great pairing and rounds out the meal well.
