Great pizza in USD/Linda Vista! This is really NOT a sit-down restaurant, it is 90% a pick up and go eat at your house type of pizza place. They have a few tables and chairs outside which is nice, but it is surrounded by cars from the parking lot. Parking Free parking in small apartment/shopping center lot. Service/Wait Time I recommend calling ahead of time to order, if you order in person the wait time is 20-25 minutes after order though, and the pizza was made fresh on the spot. Food The Crispy Chicken Salad was refreshing on a hot day, the chicken tenders were cooked fresh and were perfect- not too oily or bready. It is $10 and you could split this between 2-3 people comfortably. The star of the show was of course the Pizza Guys Combo, an ode to the Costco combo pizza. The dough was made fresh and the quantity of toppings was abundant! This combo is $30, but it is 12 slices, enough for 3-4 people. Such a delicious hidden gem in mission valley/linda vista area! My boyfriend would always talk about pizza guys up in Sacramento and when we found out there was one in San Diego we couldn't wait to try it! And it did not disappoint!! We got the spicy chipotle pepperoni pizza and the crust was the perfect about of thickness, crispy but soft, and flavored so well, it wasn't hard and dry! The pepperonis were crunchy and overall it was just a really great pizza. (And I'm not really a pizza fan) When i called to place my order the girl was super sweet, helpful, and friendly. Although when we got ours we noticed it didn't include the cilantro sadly. The toppings on the pizza were delish! All well balanced and distributed evenly. I liked that the bacon was crumbled up and got a little crunchy. The pizza overall ate a bit sweeter than I was expecting but not in a bad way. The dough itself was a little meh for me. I like it when it's a bit fluffier. Service was so friendly on the phone and when we picked up in person. Putting in my order was a breeze, the order was completed and ready for pick up exactly when I asked. Traffic held me back. The restaurant is for pick up only. There is dedicated parking right outside their store. The front and what I could see from the front looked very clean. I appreciate that there were no strong cleaner smells. I was helped almost immediately. They performed a quick check to show me that I'm getting what I ordered. They made sure everything was good and that I had everything I needed (plates, napkins and sauces) before letting me walk out the door. 10/10 for service! As a native NYer, I haven't had stuffed crust pizza outside of Pizza Hut. When I saw that option, I had to get it. Their pepperoni trio was topped with 3 varieties of pepperoni: pepperoni bits, pepperoni crispy cups and flat pepperoni. They were all very tasty. The outer crust was filled with a roll of mozzarella adding excitement to a normally boring crust that gets thrown out. The bottom crust was thicker and chewier than a reg ny slice. It wasn't bad but I do prefer and thin slightly smokey crust. My kid who doesn't like pizza ate two slices. A large pie fed 3 people with 1/4 remaining for lunch the next day. The wings were juicy and meaty. They are far from the jerky-like wings I've experienced at some bars and restaurants. The buffalo sauce tasted just like what we typically get. 12 wings was enough to feed 3 people with half left over. Their menu shows $12 for 12 wings which is a fair price. read more

I was fortunate enough to be chosen to try this new spot for lunch with a couple of Yelp friends. There was plenty of parking. We were all craving something savory, and the pepperoni and mushroom pizza was very delicious. The calzones also looked appetizing,so I decided to treat myself for a later snack.
