Real brief, the order consisted of two pizzas a BBO AT THE RANCH Pizza, a PIKES PEAK Pizza, (24) Wings, Mountain Fries, and Garlic Sticks With Cheese. This order did feed a family of six. All enjoyed the BBO AT THE RANCH PIZZA (fire). The only two recommendations that I have for this Yelp review in making a section at Mountain Mike's Pizza. First make both pizzas 20 inches (Mountain). I moved to san diego from san francisco...I've order the same thing at all Mt. Mike's. A Garlic Tuscan xtra cheese, xtra sauce, xtra garlic, well done... My pizza didn't have anything that I ordered on it and they even 4got the sundried tomatoes & the green onions that's supposed to be on there. My mistake was not checking the pizza B4 I left. I'm so use to the Mt. Mikes I go to in the bay to have everything rite there was no need to check...When I got to work 15min away is when I discovered the pizza wasn't rite. I called immediately. I got an email two days ago advertising a $29 "Triple Play" deal for a pizza and two sides; a weeknight dinner promotion. I tried to place the order repeatedly on the app, where the special was also promoted, but it kept saying it wouldn't go through. I called the restaurant and explained the problem with the app and he said I could order over the phone. When I said I wanted to do the "Triple Play" deal, he said that it was 'only available in San Francisco.' It doesn't say that anywhere on the email, or the app, I said - why would they send an email for a very specific regional deal to a repeat customer 500 miles away in a different city? And why would that special be advertised on the app where I had already put in my zip code? He didn't know. I asked if I could talk to someone, and he gave me a phone number for 'Al.' When I called that number, they said Al wasn't there. Real solid promotional work there. We've eaten a bunch here, done school fundraiser nights and stuff, but this was a big waste of time. Easy enough to unsubscribe to Mountain Mike's emails if they're going to be full of non-relevant information, easy enough to delete the app, easy enough to not get pizza from Mountain Mike's anymore. Came here all across town for one thing and that was their cherry desert pizza. The pictures will show you what they advertise was not even close to what I bought. I had no choice but to talk to the manager. Right away he was a little defensive stating they weigh their cherries. I told him what he's selling doesn't compare at all!!! He was nice enough to add a few more cherries. Food is not cheap and if your like me you want what you pay for. I did also order a small pepperoni pizza and that did come out fantastic. Its cheesy and the pepperonis are cupped they put plenty on that pizza. This place reminds me of the old school pizza hut feel with arcade games and nice looking salad bar. Came here on the way back from San Diego. Took a chance based on other Yelp! reviews. It was absolutely the right choice! Everyone was nice from the moment we stepped through the doors. We got the Everest pizza and an order of classic wings. The pizza was overflowing with toppings. Fresh veggies and meats (the cup pepperoni was our favorite!)! The crust was crispy on the bottom but was still fluffy on top. The wings were great too. The right amount of buffalo sauce and side of blue cheese dressing for dipping. You can choose Ranch dressing if that more your style too. Carrots and celery on the side are always nice with wings. I appreciate that they had Diet Dr. Pepper available as a soda option. Usually most places have Diet Pepsi as the diet option and that's it. Pepsi, Starry, root beer, Dr. Pepper and lemonade were among some of the options in case you're wondering. Restrooms were clean too. They had several regulars come in while we were there so that also tells me that it's pizza worth coming back for. I enjoy very much the energy within the restaurant itself. There are TVs on the wall you can see sports mostly would be nice to have something other than sports, but it's still good. It's a family friendly location. Service is catered to families and it's very comfortable. Finally tried this place after seeing ads for it online and TV, and glad to see it lived up to the promise! It's been awhile since I went in a sit-down type of pizza spot, so I wasn't sure at first whether to sit down or order first. Luckily, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and we were able to place our orders (two pizzas + salad bar) and find a booth. Sadly they were out of the summer mango pizza, so we opted for the McKinley and the Robbers Roost which were so delicious! Freshly made, and very flavorful, and I hope to try their other flavors soon. Also, really enjoyed the feel of the place with the seating, like arcade games and the TVs playing live sports. I went with my family and friends for a birthday and we had an amazing time. The salad bar is great, I'm surprised they still have one since lots of restaurants removed them. I was pretty excited to discover that there was a Mountain Mike's nearby. I had such a good experience when my kids were younger really was looking forward to reliving a classic. The ambience wasn't bad, showed up on a Friday night and while the phone was ringing off the hook the employees were very attentive and helpful. For my family one of the biggest reasons for going here was the Goat Cheese pizza. Sadly it seems the Goat Cheese has been discontinued. We were determined to make it work so we ordered a Cliffhanger Sandwich, Large Cheese Pizza and a Small Hawaiian Pizza. The food all showed up quickly and we started to chow down. The Pizza's all come out on a thick plastic plate. The pizza itself was just okay. Tasted kinda Pizza Hut like, but kinda bland. Not what I remember it tasting like. The Hawaiian was much the same way - ended up picking off bits and pieces of the meat. My son loved his sandwich. They also have Beer and Wine. Though the beer list was kinda average mostly IPAs. We'll see how well the pizza tastes in the morning. May try doing pickup next time. Also not sure if it's inflation but it did feel pretty expensive. read more

Diarrhea. I spent over $100 on stomach pain and diarrhea. I bought two large pizzas and a salad for my family. Prior to this occasion, I had nothing but good things to say for this pizza chain. But due to stomach pain, indifference from management, and of course, EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA, I have no choice but to post my complaint. Before Covid, one of my favorite places to eat after a hike was souplantation because I love all you can eat veggies, soup, etc for below $20! Since Covid, I haven't really found many buffets. Just watched some guy come in pass out on the table..throw up all over himself...wakes up cleans himself off and continues to vomit on his way to the bathroom. Didn't expect to have a bad experience since my first one at another location was fine. We ordered a large pepperoni for a group dinner as well as mozzarella sticks, and jalapeño knots. The pepperoni had that classic cup shape and looked delicious. However after starting, I soon realized something was off. I'm by no means a light weight when it comes to spicy food but this pizza should've come with a disclaimer about how spicy it was. My lips were melting off my face. I couldn't believe how spicy it was. I can't imagine what that experience would've been like had we served that level of spice to a kid. It wasn't labeled at all that it was going to be that hot. Pretty unappetizing to have a plain pepperoni pizza be so incredibly spicy it's borderline inedible. I don't know what is put in it but there's no way it should've been that hot. We loooove Mountain Mike's pizza! We generally get the pepperoni pizza, there's tons of pepperoni and it's cooked up nice and crispy, so tasty. The wings and garlic cheese sticks are really tasty too. I've had a handful of other pizzas - the only one I can remember for sure is the BBQ at the ranch. We've done take out a few times and eaten in a few times. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. There's a corner with a racing game and 2 other games that are good entertainment for littles. The service is always good and the employees friendly. Make sure to download the app and you earn points and they send out emails regularly with deals (or you can just find the deals in the app).
