I've ordered twice from the Round Table on Friars rd. First time I got the King Arthur supreme and it was loaded with toppings and cooked perfectly. The second time I ordered an Italian Garlic Supreme for take out and when I got home there were large spots of missing toppings. It wasn't like someone removed them, it was like they intentionally left them off in those areas. It made 3 slices topping-less and basically just plain crust. Someone had to cut this pizza so it could not have been UNnoticed. I can never order from there again now. My family and I have been long time fans and customers of Round Table Pizza. We ordered delivery from the store which was the first time trying it here in San Diego. The food was excellent and consistent since we had similar experiences at other locations. The delivery was faster than anticipated, they gave us a 60 minute window and arrived within 25 minutes. The pizza was hot and fresh and perfect we also ordered the classic wings and garlic twists which were just as good. One day I'll eventually eat inside the store but I feel their delivery has never disappointed so I'm just waiting for the next time I feel like pizza! read more

I've always had roundtable pizza at someone's house or work or something like that. We were craving a Hawaiian pizza, so we decided to go sit down and eat. It's an "order at the desk, then go find a table" type place. They had some TVs playing sports. And I saw the had a whole collection of board games and things to play. That's fun. Their pizza is absolutely delicious. Perfect ratio of crispy and soft. You can taste all the flavors in each bite. My favorite pizza to get is with: Pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeños, olives. I do not recommend the boneless wings. Overpriced. They look like little rabbit turds drowned in sauce. Plus they have partial bone in it as well as black pieces. The atmosphere is nice though. After an hour we called and they said it was on the way. Thirty minutes later the driver called and said he was in a whole other part of town and had the address wrong. Bold and zesty tomato sauce with a crisp yet flexible crust are the hallmarks for this chain, which is why I love eating here. They're very generous with the toppings and you can taste the quality, especially when compared to other chains. It's delicious fresh, and even better a day later. Expensive, our group bought an XL specialty, one Large pepperoni and 24 wings and it came close to 80 bucks. We didn't use coupons because this was from DoorDash so this was full price. I ordered a large chicken and garlic gourmet pizza after checking out the pictures of it from other Yelpers. I understand that the food that you order won't look like the food in the advertisement however I think it's fair to assume the food will look like fellow Yelper's actual pics. When I came to pick up my pizza I found my pizza was barely covered in any toppings at all. There were a few pieces of chicken, some onions and a bit of mushrooms. Once I brought it home and took a bite I found there to be literally no garlic sauce. It tasted like bread and cheese. It was dry and bland. Ive has better frozen and cafeteria pizza. I ordered my pizza online and it was legit ready in 15 min. I had to order in the parking lot and patiently waited counting down minutes. Needless to say, when I walked in 10min after ordering the girl at the front register was so nice. I gave her my order number and she quickly informed me that my pizza was still in the oven ready to be boxed. This may seem random, but I always order a Guinevere garden delight with mini pepperoni and it's ALWAYS DELICIOUS!! The good is the pizza the bad is that finding my Address is the issue. Every time I order a pizza I give very accurate directions for the delivery because the GPS is not accurate and for some reason the correct directions are not conveyed to the driver. The deliverer does not come to the front door. WHY!!!!! I have explained this issue so many times now I think I am going to order from some other restaurant. Coming from Chicago it's hard to find good pizza here. And yes, I know this is a chain, but not all chains are bad! We started with the mango habanero wings. They were ok, but could've been crispier and they weren't very spicy. I wouldn't get those again. I can't remember the name of the pizza we had, but it had sausage, pepperoni, linguisa, mushrooms, tomatoes and green onions. They way overdid it on the green onions, but luckily it was easy to pick them off. The rest of the toppings were good and they didn't skimp on the cheese or sauce which are two of my pet peeves when it comes to pizza! The crust had a good chew, but could've been a tad crispier. Childhood memories. So when I was growing up in SF, my friends and I would always go to the local Round Table. Well I left Hawaii before they opened the Round Table in Waipahu so I had to get me fix here. Located near Hotel Circle, it's close. Just drive past Fashion Valley Mall. The place is small and so is the parking lot. The restaurant shares parking with several business so it might get tight. I went on a Sunday so it wasn't too bad but the bar was open next door and the patrons took half the spots. Anyway the restaurant is small compared to the others I've been in. Seating for maybe 30 and no video games but plenty of flat screen TVs. Just like the old Shakey's pizza on video games. I know you read that review right? The monthly discount presently (Oct 2018) is a speciality pizza with 2 drinks for $25. It was too much food for me so as I was looking at the menu, the cashier/pizza chef told me I could get a medium specialty for $2 off. That was good enough for me because I really wanted a King Arthur supreme minus olives and as no surprise to some of you I got anchovies. Hey there's anchovies in Caesar salad dressing people!!! 15 mins later, the cashier hands me my pizza and off I went back to the hotel. I noticed the box was heavy when it was handed to me. I didn't think twice about it until I opened my box. Holy $&#%!!!This thing is packed. There was so much toppings in this medium pizza I felt I would have to unhinge my jaw to eat a slice. Trust me this thing was layered and layered with goodies. The crust was perfectly cook and held pretty good with all that weight. All the toppings were perfectly cooked. I couldn't find one burnt pepperoni and the cheese melted nicely to keep all the stuff together. The pizza was soo good. I can't wait to go back. Definitely my go to pizza place when I stay at hotel circle area. Overall four stars. The outside of the restaurant could use some improvement but the service and food rock.
