Anna had assured me many times that we had plenty of time for her to serve a full meal before our welcome drinks. We were so far behind that we asked her to just take the dessert that we had paid for and set it on a table at the welcome drinks, because people were coming in by then. Then when we got up and moved to the welcome drinks with passed appetizers - again soo slow to come out. Our venue coordinator (not with Lasting Impressions) was running around trying to help speed them along. The charcuterie board ran out of crackers fast. It took forever to get them to refill. At one point -one of the servers stopped to offer me something and began talking to me about her daughters wedding - going on and on. So unprofessional. I asked the worker if the patio was open and she directed me to the same two patio tables I had seen when I first approached. She seemed a little stressed or preoccupied, but no matter, I was content to enjoy the day. I waited at my table for the sandwich to arrive and got to do some people watching along main street in the crisp air. My sandwich arrived in less than 10 minutes and I dived right in. Delicious! I love how it was laid out, every layer provided an even bite. The steak was very tough and hard to chew - almost like the tips had been cooked earlier and then reheated for my order. Everything just seemed greasy. We also did not enjoy the raspberry turnover or yellow cream cannoli's we got for dessert. Maybe it was us or maybe it was the food but I will never go there again. We are not food snobs by any stretch of the imagination, and I rarely will say anything bad about a restaurant experience but we ended up going to Augusta's which is just a little bit down the road, for chicken just to erase this experience from our mouths.
