Well went in at 12:15pm to have the lunch buffet. Was very disappointed they had 2 pizza's that were out half gone and cold. Luckily the salad bar was filled so I could have salad and 1pizza of cold pizza. It took them over 30mins. to put anymore out. The counter girl was very nice. There were over 12 people in the restaurant who were just waiting for hot pizza. Won't be returning back. Never had this problem at any of the pother locations I go to!! read more

This is our favorite pizza place out of all the pizza places in Merced. Arturo has to be the best at customer service. He goes above and beyond to make sure your happy with your food and if not he wants to know so he can correct your order. And if your beer is flat he wants you to tell him. This was my first time here, and I was eager to try the Pizza Buffet. I was hopeful because I know many buffets have changed since good ol' COVID. I was happy to see they had MANY pizzas out and ready. The price was not bad, it was 30.29 for 2 people, this included pizza, salad, drink, and there was cheese bread, potato wedges, & cinnamon breads. Service was - prompt. The man took payment and pointed us in the general direction of the food. I saw people who worked there buzzing around, but none of them interacted. There was 3 other people in the restaurant for the buffet, it was quiet overall. The TVs were playing sports and news. Overall, pretty good. I didn't try the potato wedges and only ate the macaroni salad from the salad bar. The good: The cheese bread. Pizza was good with nice "crunchy" cheese Pepsi products The bad: The salad bar was kinda sparce but had the necessities The cinnamon sticks needed more icing Many items felt - stale Cookies looked good. However, it was unclear if those were included in the buffet and nobody was around to ask. read more

Food tastes ok. French bread tastes like frozen Walmart Texas toast garlic bread. The pizza has great flavor. The ranch is delish! However the dealbreaker was the $17.99 Alfredo pasta dish. It was scarcely more than a lean cuisine then they dump a massive load of mozzarella cheese over the top so that to cover up the lack of noodle and sauce. I can't say enough about this place. The pizza quality is amazing.....but the customer service is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Me and my husband keep this place on our weekly lunch date rotation as it's close to my work place. You cannot even get a fast food meal for cheape than their weekday lunch buffet at $14.50. The salad bar is plentiful and so fresh. Dressings are homemade. They refresh the pizza selection afternoon, even adding a sweet treat. Today, we had our 11 year old son join us on our weekly lunch date as he was a little under the weather. They asked what kind of pizza he liked and ended up sending us home with 2 small boxes of fresh garlic bread knots and for us to try their maccaroni and cheese pizza. Placed an order for just a medium pizza& mini cheese pizza.I was never told over the phone to say who would pick up the pizza so I assumed they had some sort of system that registered my phone number or something like that. But that was a big fat nope. I got there and they had given my pizza to someone else & due to that I had to wait an additional 30 min. I saw another customer come in and the cashier told them the same thing. That customer left without their pizza due to their wait time. I should have done the same. I do not mind paying a higher price for pizza because I can take into consideration the work, time and dedication of the employees who are working to get them out on time. I was chased out by a yelling manager and told to "never come back" because I informed him that my order had been made incorrectly, for the second time. He basically yelled over my attempt to explain, and then became angrier that I wasn't simply "happy that the order was re-made." Even though nothing has been done to fix the mistake if it was made wrong again!!!!!!! I have NEVER HAD SUCH TERRIBLE SERVICE in an eating establishment in my ENTIRE LIFE. Including fast food places!!! Absolutely appalling. It is unacceptable for a manager to take out his frustration on his customers when the employees made the order wrong, just because poor training created a loss in profit. That is not my fault, it is the manager's or employee's fault that the order ticket was not followed..... I have eaten at 4 other Pizza Factory locations at least, and NEVER have I had so much of an issue getting the order correct, NEVER have I received such AWFUL customer service, and NEVER have I received such DISGUSTING breadsticks, but this location has done these things every time. The breadsticks basically weep oil like they were deep fried with oil that was too cold (meaning dipped in oil and soggy, not fried and tasty). For the life of me, I absolutely cannot understand why this particular location makes them differently than every other Pizza Factory does, turning what are deliciously crispy, parmesan-covered breadsticks at every other location, into a soggy nightmare: drowning in oil and entirely lacking cheese. Gross. Wish I could give this place 0 stars; you get better pizza and service at Little Caesars. Since there's one just a block down the road from this location, that seems to be the better place to go next time unless they completely overhaul their customer service soon...... Note: Pizza Factory pizza from OTHER LOCATIONS seems to a comparatively pleasant experience. They have delicious marinara sauce :) read more

We went to Our friends New Home Sept 4th. She says This pizza is good. My Wife & I are from Hayward & Express Pizza is Excellent. I tell Her what we order lately. She orders half what She wants. To say this location was unorganized is an understatement. No one was here when this occurred so it's not like they had an abundance of people. We found 3 hairs in the salad. Definitely no attention to quality. We had a big pizza party and they took extremely long even though we ordered before many others. They left random pizzas without verify the person who ordered it was there so now people are getting lukewarm pizza at random tables. Why ask for a name if your not gonna ask for it and just drop it off and walk away. Extremely disappointing especially with the big prices they charge. Maybe focus on getting your service up to acceptable standards and not messing up orders or getting hair in your food. Do not come here unless you enjoy terrible service and food. read more
