Great little spot for a lunch break from work. Lunch special includes a slice with either half a salad or sandwich. At the time their oven wasn't working so they couldn't make whole pies but that didn't stop me from ordering the lunch special. Got the Prosciutto Caprese sandwich which is served on super soft bread with fresh ingredients inside. Got a slice of cheese as well and it's HUGE!! Giving this Pizza District location two stars is a bit generous... I added one more star than pizza joint this really deserves, because of previous better experiences. To start they got the order wrong. For $39 plus change, I received a large pizza with grilled onions and peppers plus a very mediocre "over lettuced" greek salad....I actually had ordered a small pizza to go...The counter person who gave me my erroneous order said she was not the one who took the order over the phone. Since I didn't want to wait for a new pizza I took the large pizza home which turned out to be nothing but an Orange round piece of dry cardboard...I reluctantly wolfed down 2 slices vowing never to return again.These are difficult times for restaurants suffering a depletion of diners. No doubt quality will suffer..I applaud those businesses that can successfully adjust to the times.Unfortunately, Pizza District apparently is not among them. read more

I need to preface this by saying I pretty much agree with the reviewer that gave 2 stars. But I want to leave it out there that it could have been I expected something different and it wasn't a quality issue. So with that said...service was attentive and with the smaller more intimate space you saw more of your server than expected. That was a plus- drinks stayed full and the like. The restaurant was clean and but seemed over staffed. A lot of people behind the counter for the amount of guests dining. The pizza was ok. The dough didn't taste fresh to me, maybe fresh then frozen. It was really crispy around the edge but the middle crust was soggy and limp. The sauce did seems thin, there were chunks of tomato in the sauce but overall it was thin. The cheese wasn't heavy on the top. If it had been you would not have been able to pick up the slice so it made sense. Toppings were not seasoned but seemed fresh. I am glad I tried it but I for me I wouldn't return 6/29/18 I did reach out to PizzaDistrict@hotmail.com as the owner suggested. I got my reply today. In my email I asked a few questions and seemed understanding for things I didn't mention in my original review and will not mention here. I got the reply and answer I thought I would get. What I don't get is that in the owners reply he says twice that wants to "fix" things. However no solution was offered or even mentioned. I get it, I didn't like your food so don't come back. I ordered the calzone. The crust was rubber and the inside was supposed to have riccota??? Didn't have any only mozzarella. To add injury to insult I got sausage only got like three little pieces. Had a chance to check this place out last night with a couple buddies. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered a couple pies and a calzone. The pizza we really good, more of a thinner Neapolitan style, very light crust. The ingredients were very fresh as well. All in all, the pizza and calzone was great. Also, another good note is that they have different crust options like whole wheat, gluten-free and vegan too. Very cool spot. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items. read more

Not my favorite. As a CT boy I like good pizza and unfortunately this wasn't it. Pretty disappointed the service was nice and my family enjoyed the food. Ordered chicken parm and a specialty pizza can't even remember the name it was not memorable. My friend and I enjoyed really tasty personal pizzas at this new restaurant on 18th St. in the Boardwalk shopping center in Boca. The interior of the restaurant was clean, nicely appointed, modern decor, ample seating. The handsome young man that waited on us (don't remember his name) was friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent service. My friend had a personal 14" pizza ($12.99 plus $2 per topping) with sausage and meatballs and thoroughly enjoyed it. I chose a 14" personal pizza with whole wheat crust (they also offer gluten free and a vegan option for $3 more) with Asiago cheese, spinach and arugula. The pizzas were delicious and more than either of us could finish in the restaurant. The owner came to our table to ensure we were happy with our meal and then graciously boxed up our remaining slices himself. He seemed to genuinely care about our dining experience, and was friendly and jovial. We will return to Pizza District for great pizza, "the Specialties and the Classics" and may even try the sandwiches and wings. Highly recommended! read more

Excellent pizza if you like very thin crust pizza which I do. My wife had the cauliflower crust pizza which she enjoys with jalapeños ,spinach, basil ,mozzarella and red sauce. It came in a 10 inch size. I had goat cheese pizza large with regular crust which was great. They offer "barrel of monks" beer; which is a local craft brewery. I was very pleasantly surprised to see.We enjoyed the out door seating with waitress service. Definitely coming back sometime soon! read more

Ordered pick up last night: Classic with pepperoni and a steak and Gorgonzola. When I arrived for pick up, was greeted with a friendly smile. Nice little sit down while waiting for the pies to complete. Overall, I like layout of the place and we will be eating our next pie at the location. The pies tasted delicious. Nice balance of ingredients with sauce, cheese and topping. The crust of the pie was perfect on the outside and slightly undercooked in the middle. Not sure if it need a little more time or if this is because we are in Florida and that it is difficult to baked the perfect crust. Only a minor and overall, we look forward to trying the rest of the pies and/or stop in for the lunch special. Since living in Florida, I have heard many of the North Easterners that Florida will never be able to make pizza the right way.
