No delivery service. I called to put in an order and spoke to a gal and asked if they have uber eats or doordash and she said no. I said okay and told her I would call right back to put my order In but have been On hold for over 13 minutes. Zero stars currently. Still can't reach them after so many call backs. Over 30 minutes- I think they blocked me because I called so many times. YELP knows how many times I called because I'm calling them through the APP. Came in for Sunday dinner around 7:30 and the place was packed (inside). We were able to get in without a reservation which was a good start. Came in because friends recommended it. So we decided to have pizza as our bread/appetizer. Interesting first thought, how are you an Italian restaurant and don't have bread for the table. All good but thought it was strange. The pizza, nothing special, thin crusted wood fired pizza. They are a dime a dozen around South Florida. For dinner, I went with Lasagna, other did the Brooklyn Spaghetti and Mussels. My lasagna was good, nothing special or memorable. Basic flavors and again lots of Italian places around that do it much better. The Brooklyn Spaghetti was sent back it was so bland and flavorless. The meatballs looked bright pink inside and they tasted strange. Not sure what they were made out of, but that's usually how you judge a really good Italian spot. It was so bad it was sent back for another lasagna. The mussels were good, good sauce. Overall it feels like a Boca-NY trap catering to old NYers who don't wanna drive or travel to get a NY experience. Place wasn't bad, it just wasn't good. I'm not sure I've ever done a second review for a place, much less a second one to just double down on how fantastic Patsys is. We stopped in last night to grab a drink and maybe get take out. Minutes after getting a couple great spots at their marbled bar, we knew we were eating there. And we decided so fast. She went with the lasagna because it felt right, and because I wanted some too. I got their Macellaio(meat lovers) cause it felt right, and she wanted some too. We nailed it as both were some of the best we have had. And the drinks were good, and fun. Hands down the best Pizza in downtown Boca Raton, two other pizza shops in the area don't even compare. I ordered some dessert, I got the tiramisu and the cannoli, both were fantastic, the tiramisu was nice and light and the filling in the cannoli was perfect. The best part is, it wasn't super expensive either compared to the competition in the area. I hope the manager adds the dessert to their menu online though, because it doesn't exist, I had to ask for it when I picked up my order. read more

I finally was able to try Patsy's Pizza. I heard many good things about it. This review is from my visit there about a month ago. The weather was nice that day so we sat inside by the open door. All we ordered was pizza and it was more than enough. The pizza was very good although the cheese was a little on the salty side. The size of the slices were great. I was able to take home a couple slices for the next day foe lunch. Service was so, nothing memorable. There is limited parking in the front. The few spaces are actually shared with nearby restaurants. We were lucky to find a nearby spot and I don't even know ow where parking is had wr not found this golden spot. My New York City emigrant companions tell me this is a great place for New York style pizza. My conclusion is, I'm not a huge fan of that style. It was okay, nothing to complain about, but hardly "mouth watering." I would also say that one pizza is too much for a single diner, unless you're both a large person and starving. Food: 3 stars Service was good at the start, but tended to disappear after we had been served. No occasional followups of the kind, "is everything okay? Anything we can get you?" Service: 4 stars Our party of seven got an outside table with a view of the sidewalk and street, so we could watch the world go by. It was a perfect Boca Raton winter evening. Ambience: 5 stars Maybe I haven't been going out enough as restaurant prices climb, and this place is not exactly in the "low rent district," but I was still surprised at how expensive everything was. One very thin pizza, with a cheese topping, was in the $25 range. They went up to low $30s, with extra individual toppings for $3.50 each. Most appetizers were in the $20 range. Salads were about $15, and had no protein component (fish or meat). I can't remember an Italian restaurant that didn't offer a chicken caesar salad, but this one doesn't. We just moved to Boca from Ft. Lauderdale over the summer and visited Patsy's for the first time in August. Since then, it's been a staple for us and is on our rotation at least once a month. The vibes are great and the food is excellent, especially their pizza! We've gotten to know some of the staff behind the bar and they are remarkable every single time. Their attentiveness and friendliness are one of the many reasons why we keep coming back. For those who think they brought NY type cooking to Florida they did not. While it is good, it isn't what you would expect from Patsy's having eaten at their NY restaurant. We arrived early on a Friday night - got there about 5:30 and there was plenty of street parking and plenty of tables available. We were immediately greeted by our waiter, Brian. He was fabulous. Brian was truly excited about the food offerings - especially the specials. He was a great waiter - he checked on us often, was personable and prompt. We each ordered a drink and then decided to order three appetizers to share - the appetizers were really made for 2 - - there were 2 pieces of eggplant rollantini, 2 pieces of some kind of fried cheese, etc. We asked if we could make it for 3 but we could not. We also ordered a pizza. The food was good but it was nothing like what I've eaten in New York - - especially the pizza. I was looking for real NY Pizza - the kind you fold and let the grease drip out - -this was not that. I did like the very thin crust and the flavor was good but it was all very, very salty. For dessert, we shared the cannoli - - really it was 2 cannolis. The filling was a little thicker than I had expected but had a good flavor. I guess I'm used to the lighter cream - closer to whipped cream in my cannoli. The three of us had a lovely time although the noise was so loud that we all left with sore throats from trying to talk to each other - - by the time we left, the place was packed! My NY friends swore I'd love it. They raved about the pizza at the NY location, and couldn't wait to get that here. Well, it's good. It's not amazing. We ordered two pies, a classic and a Margherita. The thin crust, slight char was spot on, although my friends said it was too thin. I'm a Jersey boy, and I like it thin. But the sauce lacked depth, there wasn't nearly adequate cheese on either one, but they were both good. We also had 3 of the 4 salads offered. The beet salad was the best, the arugula 2nd, and the Caesar was pedestrian. We also tried the blueberry pasta. Interesting. Once. Our server, Christian, was awesome. He should teach other servers how to pay attention to their tables. Well done! On the con side, very noisy, making table conversation difficult. Chairs are not great, but tolerable for the short time there. Pro side, parking is available in the garage across the street and in the same building, as well as street (paid) and valet. We also had a Caesar salad and a beet salad, which I must say were small salads good only for one person that's not a sharing type of salad. Five of us just left Patsys Pizzeria. It was our first time there , but it won't be our last. Patsys New York , in Boca. How sweet that is The place was mobbed! Inside and outside, not a table to be had. Gianna ( the hostess) who not only is beautiful , but capable as well, told us to give her 15 minutes, and sure enough a table for 5 , outside which was perfect. Soft drinks were ordered, 2 different salads ( I had the Caesar( delicious), 2 pizzas, original and margarita ( so thin, so good), chocolate gelato, ( it's so good it must be illegal, , cheesecake, the check and to the car James...... The only thing wrong with Patsy's Pizzeria is that it is not closer to where I live (Delray Beach). But going there this past week was truly like 'coming home'. So when I heard that they opened in Boca Raton, I was very hopeful. I'm pleased to say that hope was justified! It's just like the original ('ole Blue Eyes favorite). Like most venues in Boca Raton and Delray Beach if you go during peak hours, it is going to be loud inside. Thankfully, there was a 30 minute wait for an inside table, so we decided to risk the heat and sat outside. It turned out to be a brilliant decision. Fans kept us cool, and the set-up is quite comfortable. Our Waiter quickly introduced himself and explained that everything needed to be ordered at one time, although they'd pace bringing it out to the table. We started with a Caesar Salad (fine) and Clams Oreganata (off the hook, delicious!). If I have one issue, it is that they don't bring bread to the table. It felt like a shame not to have some to mop up the delicious sauce with the clams. We then ordered a large regular pie and the Rigatoni Patsy's (basically Pasta a la Norma). The Pasta was yummy, but again, I really wish there was a little bread to go along side. For me the star of the show was that DELICIOUS Patsy's Pizza! Yes, the crust is just this side of a little burnt in places. We still ate every single crumb and I'm only a little ashamed to say I ate 4 slices. Maybe it is best that Patsy's is a 30 minute drive, because I can see that Pizza quickly becoming an addiction. Valet parking is the norm though there are paid lots around the way. 3 of us for dinner tonight and I arrive early and give my name to the hostess who indicated she could not take names until the entire party is here. As it was getting busy, I asked if I would be at the back of the line when they arrived with no response. Ok Strike 1. I moved to the bar which has 12 chairs with only 4 occupied and sat down for a drink as I waited. The 1st words out of the bartender's mouth is "you can't sit here". EXCUSE ME? Bar seats are reserved for people who are dining. "You can order a drink and take it outside to wait for your party" Are you F***ing kidding me? I order a drink anyway and act like he is doing me a favor by making me a short pour $25.00 old fashioned. Thank God my guests arrived before I thought about how ridiculous it was to spend $25.00 a drink but cannot sit at the bar to enjoy it SMH. We are then seated and although our server "Anthony" was the nicest guy in the world and extremely helpful, you can sense from the moment you sit it is company policy to simply push you thorough the conveyer belt as fast as possible. Rush Rush was the theme of the evening. We at 6:00PM for the record. We ordered a traditional pizza for an appetizer which if I am being honest was simply OK... Great thin crust but nothing in the oil, sauce or cheese made me go WOW. Next, we split a Veal parm with potato croquets and vegetables along with a Berkshire pork chop with hot cherry peppers, mushrooms & string beans. The veal parm was small and the sauce was non-descript. In short, average at best. The Porkchop was better than most things this evening which does not say much. We were asked multiple times if we wanted something else, but we were deciding and talking since we had not seen each other in a bit, and finally at 7:11PM 1 hour 11 minutes the same rude hostess came over and said I hate to say something, but I need this particular table. Again, are you PHUCKING KIDDING ME. "Someone has been waiting for it for 30 minutes" Again, sit them somewhere else. I understand the need to move tables, and I have no problem with the 90-minute rule, but at 1 Hour and 11 minutes with the aforementioned rush and bar seating issues, I had enough. I will make it short to sum up. Pizza 6.5, veal 6, Pork chop 7, price points Very Hight, drink prices extremely high. Anthony as a server good just following rules, rest of the staff and their policies are an absolute embarrassment to the paying public and restaurant industry. You could not get me to return here with free meals for life. They have full house, & they do not need my money, but the hype will only take them so far. It was a special experience for us, as my grandparents used to frequent Patsy's in the NYC theater district and always spoke so highly of it. Fairly newly opened, so there are always kinks to work out and staff to train (or retrain). It was a decently busy night but not jammed. I mention this because our young and obviously inexperienced staff seemed a bit quick on the draw to try to turn over our table of four. Twice they tried to take plates and drinks that weren't finished yet. Aside from that, the service was friendly and adequate. I've been to the Patsy's on 56 and the "pizzeria" in the UWS, but never expect the south Florida versions to be the same necessarily, but I also don't think the City locations are five star worthy. We ordered meatballs and clams oreganata as apps; the meatballs were better. Which makes me wonder why their meatball pizza wasn't better. Meatball was the least present item on that pie...it was like they treated the meatball like a shaved truffle serving just as an accent ingredient. The bolognese was okay, nothing special. The lasagna was the best part of the entrees, and it was fine but not great. It is definitely worth giving it a try, but given all the options in the area I'm not sure it's high on my list to go out of my way to revisit. read more
