Short answer? YES. We finally tried it and are all so glad we did; delicioso! Our server, Megan, was so cheerful and helpful that we were immediately put in a good mood (though, tbf, I was pretty excited going in); they've got diet Dr. Brown's Black Cherry... always a good sign! The St James tea is a nice drink, too. Megan brought out some dough bites with a marinara and a vodka dipping sauce and, sorry, but they put everyone else's garlic knots to absolute shame! Nice cracky crust skin with crazy moist soft fluffy interior for every bite, a little heat from the garlic, and both sauces were tasty. The 16" pies are bona fide large pies, not 14" masquerading as full: We got the NY OG and the Vodka. The crusts are ridiculously good; super thin, with a crack on 'em, but still also moist and chewy, with a nice burn (not over-done, just enough charr). The NY OG toppings are light but there and have good mozz flavor; the vodka had a bit of bite once it set and the toppings are a bit heavier dollops. We (three of us, all originally from NJ and two of us with another 25 years in NYC under our belts) all loved it- genuine NY style pizza (we settled on thinking it's a combo of Patsy's and Mikes with better texture than either alone). Place is cute, super clean, though not much parking out back (of course, it's downtown Boca in the heart of Mizner, though apparently they offer valet at night anyhow). Felt very welcomed into this adorable place by the staff. Pizza was fabulous with perfect crust and seasoning. Highly recommend!

Went for lunch and tried their pepperoni & onion pizza. The crust was made with sourdough, different but good! Enjoyed the pizza and got a complimentary order of sourdough bites for an appetizer. They were very good. Great service, atmosphere and would recommend as a place to eat. read more

Where to start? This place is a vibe all-around! Service was excellent, the food was amazing. If I had to recommend ONE pie, it would be the pistachio pizza-- seriously packs a punch! From sweet (honey) to salty (cheese) and everything in between. I visited with two others (3 total, including myself) and we also ordered the chicken wings. Would also recommend! This pie felt like I was eating dessert before dinner, but still tasted and felt just as satiating as the pepperoni pizza. Solid sourdough pizza option for the area. Friendly staff and creative daily specials. We had 2 of the 3 daily pizza specials. The fennel and sausage delivered a savory and fulfilling experience. I started with the Shroom Toast, which was packed with roasted mushrooms, whipped ricotta, and fresh herbs on thick sourdough. Simple, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. For pizza, I watched both the OG and the Pistachio pies being made, and they did not disappoint. The OG is a classic done right: San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, and garlic oil on their house-fermented sourdough crust. It's light, chewy, and perfectly blistered. The Pistachio pizza was the standout though, which is topped with mozzarella, Havarti, pecorino, crushed pistachios, truffle oil, and a touch of honey. Service was solid for pickup, valet guy was nice. I got the pepperoni pizza with onions. The pizza was sauced way too lightly(even tho it's a tasty sauce) and had way too little amounts of cheese. I understand the concept of this joint is to be light and airy, but atleast be generous with the pepperoni and onions. This large pizza probably was the lightest pizza I've prolly ever held. I'll give it a 2 because the hostess is super sweet and very knowledgeable about their menu. She smiled while explaining the menu the entire time. She loves this place. I also found it quite nice that you get a drink with lunch or a glass of wine if you choose. Now for the pizza. The pizza was not good at all. It's taste extremely bland and it was very much overcooked. The bottom was really black with a few black bubbles on top from the cheese burning. I got the pizza to go so I didn't realize it until I got home. Super disappointed, wanted to support this local business but the pizza wasn't worth it. Maybe I'll go back and try a salad. read more

Tasty crust! And that's what really matters, right? Salads are huge, meatballs nice and delicate, tomato sauce also tasty, and we enjoyed our OG. They smartly focus on the pizza and don't have lots of other entrees, and they do job one quite well ....definitely better than that New York / Harlem pizza place a few blocks away. read more
