Hey don't get me wrong I love Tomasso's I've been eating here since I moved to Florida staff is always friendly, but the other night was very disappointing to say the least. Ordered a pizza with ham onion green pepper well done, it was fantastic ten out of ten then the owl ball I ordered was complete opposite zero out of ten the meatball is pathetically small like idk if I got a reject one that night but my god for 5.50 I think that's unexceptionable. Its more bread then meat and where is the tomato sauce?? That's the best part instead it was very greasy with garlic butter. I ordered an eggplant dinner with spaghetti and a large sicilian pie as I have done for many years without an issue. I don't know if they changed chefs but the food was absolutely horrible. The pizza was burnt to the point where we had to scrape the cheese off.So we could eat what was left of it. The eggplant was burnt salty and mushy and not edible. We called, and we're told that since we ate the pizza.We would not be getting a refund. Unfortunately, after so many years, we will not be going back. Tomasso's is a Boca staple, family owned business since 1981!!!! The pizza is great and very good quality. They also have cauliflower crust which I get all the time. Its a great crust and wet tasty! Garlic rolls are huge! The service is good and all the staff is very professional and nice to everyone. We called the number on the door and ordered 4 slices and a soda and asked them to separate the order because we were in 2 different cars. No problem. I've been a loyal customer going to this pizzeria for 6 months every Friday night. I drive 20 min away just for this pizza and I wanted to switch things up and order a Sicilian pie. When I drove 20min back home I grabbed a slice and notice the bottom of the whole pie was burnt and unenjoyable. Our current favorite in the Boca area. It is a bread crust with the right crisp on the edges and on the bottom. The sauce is a bit on the thicker side with some seasonings and the cheese is just the right amount without being too much. We also think the cauliflower crust is great. They have a rewards program but the process to link the ordering to your account is a bit confusing. They do have directions though on their website.
