Thursday, Nov 16, 2017 I was on my way home from work when the car behind me started honking and flashing their lights. I slowed down to let them pass but it just got worse. When I picked up to call 911, they shot off down the side road. I turned around to follow them and he went to Pizza Depot.
When I pulled in, I called the manager and she said he had just gotten back. I asked if she knew if he had just been on the road I was on and she said the last delivery she remembered was on CR 44, but there was one after it. I told her what happened and she said she would be outside to speak with him, he had just came out with another delivery. In the meantime, he backed out and I said twice "Excuse me, can I ask you a question?" He bent over, looked out his passenger window, his mouth dropped, and he got the "oh sh**" face and took off----what does this tell you??
While speaking with the manager, the owner pulled up and she told her that I would like to talk to her. I repeated what happened and she said "you should call the police". I asked her "so you aren't concerned that your delivery driver tried to run me off the road?" She got huffy and started questioning me 1. "what did he look like?", 2. "what color was the car?", and the best question 3. "was he caring a delivery bag?". I told her 1. "how do I know, he was flashing his brights in my eyes and it's dark out", 2. "it's the same car your driver has, I turned around and followed him", and 3. "how would I know, he was IN THE CAR!!". She then proceeds to tell me that she doesn't believe he'd do such a thing and I tell her that she doesn't know what he does when he's out of her sight. She then proceeds to tell me "He's a good Christian man, he wouldn't do that". I tell her, "Just bc you're a Christian doesn't mean you're a good person!". She then says "I'm sorry you feel that way". She took my name and number supposedly and said she would be giving me a call........still waiting on the call btw!
As she walked off, I told her "I will be giving Al [the town marshal] a call in the morning, just as you told me I should do." She mumbled something and I said "Excuse me, what did you just say to me?". At first I didn't think she was going to answer me because I stopped her in her tracks and she finally turned around and said "I'll let the council woman know immediate [which is her mother]" and I asked her "what's she going to do about it?". She jumped in her van and took off.
Very unimpressed with the owner, Jennifer Hile. Her lack of professionalism and customer service is awful. I have ordered from here before and I will never be a customer again. I usually pick up my son from daycare and have him in the car, but he was sick that day. That could've been a very bad situation if he would have hit me. read more
