I can't say enough about how much my family and I enjoy this pizza. Always spot on. We try a different flavor every time & haven't been disappointed yet. The draw back... we live in Sylvania. The first time I tried The Cat I was coming home from a long visit at Toledo Hospital. So I decided to pick a couple pies up on the way home. The family literally went crazy. So we ordered again a week later. Again-all included lost their f-ing minds. After that, we decided that due to the distance from our home we should only order if we happen to be in the Toledo Hospital area. Normally the food here is excellent. Not last Friday. Almost 80% of our order was wrong. We waited over an hour for the pizza. I called deliver Toledo and got nowhere. They were very busy but 35$ and 65 min the quality should've been better. I hope it's better the next time because if they keep pushing out food like that they won't be popular any more. read more

I live out of town now but every time I return to Toledo I make sure to get some pizza cat. They have unusual pizza combinations and cater to different dietary needs. Alright so this is one of the best original pizzerias out there. Toppings and crust options you won't find anywhere else (lobster, brisket, cauliflower/ hemp crust). Seriously, don't be afraid to try the speciality pizzas. They do unique well while simultaneously being extremely fairly priced. My only qualm is that my boyfriend didn't like it... might dump him. This place is cool, and popular, but the NO PHONE issue is our deal breaker. The pizza is very good, many different styles. We've had supreme and pepperoni. The crust is kind of airy and just right, not too dense, the whole thing was delicious with plenty of tasty sauce. Sadly, they only accept orders on facebook mesenger, so unless you have that (and we don't), they want you to go over there, order, and stand there like you are at the department of motor vehicles. Cauliflower Crust. Pretty YUM, I must say. I normally adore a thick and chewy billowy crust but when you're trying to make healthier choices it's so nice to have a really good alternative and their cauliflower crust is great! We had two pizzas, the Sultan (garlic oil, onions, tomatoes, kalamata olives, etc...) and a regular pizza with Italian sausage and banana peppers. I order extra sauce on the side for the regular pizza because sauce is my favorite part of a pizza. BUT, alas, I did not care for the sauce. Don't get me wrong...it was good *on* the pizza, but alone it was not. It was pretty pasty, so I wouldn't be ordering extra sauce again. They have a huge variety of very creative pizzas and my husband and I agreed that we would happily return to try their other creations. read more

I love pizza cat so much I am having them cater my wedding!! (Seriously) The one negative review I noticed on here is someone that seems to bash a lot of local businesses. (Annoying) But seriously you have to try this place out! I do not know the owner or any of the employees personally. I love this place! What's to say about pizza? This place has it and a lot of varieties of it. The only knock is that the pizzas are expensive for the size but they are very good. Also, they could do without the F word being stickered on the pop cooler. They could also do without the sliding photos on the TV that stuck temporarily and depicted a girl licking between her fingers in what is known as something of sexual nature. Went there yesterday for the first time. My son ordered 1/2 brisket (special?) and 1/2 pineapple. Didn't check it until we got home. It was just cheese on one half and the other half was pineapple. Each one unique and bold, their pizzas are exceptionally different from anything around, if you're not one to have the pizza creativity gene yourself. I love how different they all are. My only complaint and perhaps my favorite part of pizza is the sauce. And not that it was bad, but of the few pies I've had from Pizza Cat, there hardly was any sauce. Kinda bummed me out. Best pizza around. HANDS DOWN. Haven't had anything we didn't like but the brisket pizzas are a family fave. I'm gluten free and their crust is great and they don't charge extra for it. I prefer their sauce over Gino's as I'm not a fan of sweeter sauce. The staff is always great and they confirm every order by showing you your pizzas when you pick up. First time eating food from here and I would give 3.5 stars. I ordered over the phone at noon and asked to have my order ready by 5:30. When I arrive everything was fine, no problems there. Take it home and start to dig in. The taste and flavor were good. The sauce is unique in that it has a slight zestyness to it. The size of the pizza seem smaller but no big deal. The only downside I had with the pizza was it was more greasy. Don't get me wrong, they used a good portion of cheese. Just for me it was on the greasier side. I would love to try their pizza, but the two ties I tried to order it have been ridiculously disappointing.....and I have a gift card to use, how sad is that?!? First time I called months ago I got no answer. Double checked the number & it was supposedly correct. Too busy? Just don't care? Oh well, Marcos is down the street. Today I wanted to order again...went online & spent eons trying to decide what sounded best. Thought I could order online....nope, not with a gift card. Total online was $24. Phoned them to place the order, the young lady tells me it will be $26. I'm confused, why? I start going over the items....oh, the pizza listed online as the "Sunday Special" isn't a special & hasn't been for a while.....really?? Well that stinks, I think you should still honor it...."click". She HANGS UP ON ME!!! I call back - dude answers the phone this time. I explain that I was speaking to a young lady trying to place my order and was hung up on. He asks her "Did you hang up on her?" "Nooooo". Whatever, just tell me what the special is today and take my order. Guess what folks?!? The special is the other pizza I ordered! OOOOOOKKKK, so why is my bill $26?
