The homemade marinara itself seems average, but there is truth in the saying, if it looks simple, it's complex. The subtle acidity of the tomatoes, the slight earthy notes from the mushrooms, and sweetness of the green bell pepper, only show their true colors when you add a small amount to the actual pizza. My mouth is watering writing this, is that too much information? Anyway, the acidity helps to refresh the palate to help cut the cheese, and boy is there cheese and meat to spare. Come hungry, leave happy. I have nothing bad to say. This is my favorite Pizzeria.
