I received a flyer on Wednesday last week from Pizza Bolli at Old Branch Ave, and Coventry Way. It advertised 8 inch subs for $7.99. I placed an order the next day. I picked up my order and when I got home I noticed I was charged $8.99 for the three subs. I went back and spoke to the manager who said his system had the new price and there was nothing he could do. I asked him to give me the $3 difference and he refused. So where do I start. Let's start out with the five dollar delivery charge. No on second thought let's start out with the food. I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich. It comes on a French begot it's about 2 inches wide it's 11 inches long it's soggy there's hardly any chicken, hardly any cheese. Total 17.something $$. The restaurant is less than a mile away from my hotel. No snow or rain and I get a 5$ delivery charge. Here's the thing. I'm ok with 5 going to the driver, I'm ok with 5 if your a couple of miles away. I'm OK with five if you got an arm full of food. I'm OK with five if you got to climb up a couple flights of stairs. I'm not OK with five less than a mile away for a sandwich. Here's the second thing if you going to charge five dollars for delivery your food better sustain it. In this case it does not. Soggy tasteless really cheap sandwich. The type of sandwich I'd expect to get at a 7-Eleven that I put in the microwave. Maybe the pizza is better. Maybe they don't charge as much to deliver. Horrible customer service. Store owner would not except gift certificate from own store. Gift certificate was provided by store manager of location due to two bad experiences with orders not being correct. Gift certificate was in the amount of $40 dollars, so I am assuming he did not want to honor that amount. Probably would have been different if it was a lower value. i have been living in clinton md for 13 years, and i have been ordering pizza from this PIZZA BOLI'S for 13 years. they just lost a customer. we had a coupon for 2 large 1 topping, 12 wings $29.99. 1st they did not grant our coupon. they say that is now $34.99 and was going to charge us $44. i'm lost on this one! these figures do not add up. to top that off one of the managers in the back ground says "ya i know them". go figure read more
