It's 2024 now but back in 2004 I used to ride my bicycle to the local Pizza Boli's in Arbutus to feed myself and my younger siblings. The Manager or Owner Khalil always made sure that I had enough food and soda, regardless of the amount of cash I had. I was in elementary school then but as an adult now I look back and appreciate the generosity that this location and Mister Khalil had. The customer service is still on point! I have nothing but loyalty to this restaurant. Best pizza and wings in Arbutus and they have a competition of 11 other pizza joints in a two block radius. I used to eat a lot of Burger King too as a kid but now I know that BK sucks. Pizza Boli's is consistently great. I recommend their pizza, wings and their subs. I vote to remove Domino's and install a Qdoba. Pizza Boli's is number one! read more

I got a house salad which was good, but I spent literally 5 minutes cutting it up because they did not chop up the veggies at all. Their stuffed shell was good, but really greasy. Our family's favorite when it comes to local pizza delivery. Always fresh, hot and satisfies the whole family. Delivery time is reasonable and obviously they have their busy times but they always come on time or earlier than the estimated delivery time. Good pizza. 2 problems: Surprise $1.50 charge for using credit card that shows up on confirmatory email (no warning) - I thought they wanted us to use credit to decrease contact. 1/3 What's that you ask? That's the number of times I've ordered food that came correctly and completely. As someone who has spent over 10 years working in the food industry I understand how busy you can eat and mistakes happen but this is just unacceptable. The first time we ordered the two sub combo meals, a small cheese pizza and ice cream for dessert. The driver arrived about 20 minutes after the quoted time, forgot both sodas and the ice cream. We ended up calling back and were told we'd have to wait 30 minutes for it to be brought out to us with no compensation being offered and a sub par apology from the employee. The second time was just me so I ordered their cinnamon pie thing and the single sub combo. This time everything was correct but the cinnamon pie was incredibly dry and tough to chew with 1 tiny container of icing. The most recent time was last night. Again we ordered the single sub combo, chicken tenders, wings and western fries. This time they forgot the celery which was supposed to come with the wings and tenders and the sauce we paid extra for. The online order tracking is also consistently broken and just says "being prepared" 45 minutes later. Their ONLY redeeming factor is the food is for the most part pretty delicious. They really need to modernize their system so employees don't forget things. Until then I'll just be prepared to call when they forget something as they inevitably do. read more

Not only is the food good, but i normally don't expect much when I order food for delivery, but i was very pleased to find that this is the first place in about two years that has actually fully gotten my order correct, and didn't forget anything! There was a problem when I ordered on the app so the order took a little longer to get delivered but j called and they apologized and explained the situation to me and i was fully satisfied. The delivery man was also very nice to as well and extremely polite! I will probably only be ordering from here form now on! read more

I am very disappointed in my meal that I ordered which cost $43.85. On Sunday, January 22, 2017, I placed an online order at 6:54pm. I ordered 2 large pizzas, an order of buffalo wings, and 2 orders of French fries. I received my order at 7:58pm, I tipped the driver $8.00, and I prematurely called to complain about the French fries, before reviewing my entire order. I called Arbutus locations at 7:59pm to complain of the French fries appearing to be refried and burnt, I asked for a refund, because I wanted fries with my meal, not after eating the main portions. I was told, because I used my debit card, I could not get a refund, but they would send some new fries. I informed the person whom I was speaking with that, because I used my debit card, is more of a reason to easily refund me for the fries. He placed me on hold for 5 minutes, before returning to the phone and informing me that they would send some fresh fries, I informed him that I would accept them if they were not re-fried or burnt, against my desire to have had them with my meal. He said ok, and they would be fresh. I stated I called prematurely before reviewing my entire order because my pizza was cold, the cheese had no pull, and it was as if it came out the refrigerator. The buffalo wings not only did not look appetizing, they where hard and dried out, according to the one taste test, also the ranch dressing that I paid extra for was not included in my order. The person on the phone was so unconcerned, I did not want to call back, out of fear my food would be tampered with, so I settled with warming the pizza and writing the wings off as a loss and a lesson never to patronize this establishment again. I received the replacement fries at 8:43pm, 2 hours after my original order, and they were burnt and re-fried as well. I immediately called Arbutus to inform them that the new order of fries were also nasty looking re-fried and burnt, and to request a refund, and the person taking my call seemed frustrated, I informed him, that I would take my issues up with Corporate and his words were "ok" and he hung up. I received the notion that this is typical of this store. However, as a customer I believe that I should have received a satisfactory product and satisfactory customer service. I still have the fries and wings, untouched (with the exception of 1 wing that was taste tested). As stated earlier we did heat the pizza in order to consume it. Please note that I intend to dispute the charge, because I was unable to consume the majority of my meal, and I did not receive a satisfactory product. I am hopeful, that Pizza Boli's care more for their brand than the Arbutus location, because after reviewing Yelp, I can see that this is pattern for this franchise. read more

While my food came in a timely manner, in fact it came quicker than the time of 45 minutes which I was given, they probably should have taken a little more time to cook the meal correctly. I ordered a cheesesteak and fries with EXTRA salt on the fries (which I have found if I ask for extra, I will at least get some salt). Needless to say, the fries were extremely dry, with no (absolutely NONE) salt whatsoever. And they sent the wrong sub. Nothing that I ordered was on my sub! My son went to exchange the sandwich for what I wanted. The second sub was no better than the first because the meat was over cooked (to the point of burnt on some pieces) and dry; I asked for light lettuce, extra cheese and extra mayonnaise. I got no lettuce whatsoever, no cheese that I could discern but I did get the mayonnaise. However the sandwich was still dry! Believe me, the next time I want to stay in my leisure bed and order in, it will not be from Pizza Bolis!! read more
