We were invited to check out Pizza Barn. This establishment is definitely very popular. Although our arrival for dinner was quite early in the day, there was a long line to order your food. There was a bit of a wait to get to order however, with 4 servers taking orders we got it done in no time. Then we were able to go find a table and sit and wait for our dinner to be brought out. We each had a beer to drink and beer came out right away. This restaurant is lively and quite loud volume. You definitely have to talk louder so that you can all have a conversation. Soon after buffalo wings and fried pickles arrived. We were definitely enjoying our food. While waiting for the pizzas to arrive we were able to watch the football games from several large tv screens. 10 minutes later our pizzas came out. The pepperoni and green chile and 2nd pizza jalapeno ground beef and fresh sliced tomatoes were tasty. Everything came out delicious. Our visit to the Pizza Barn was great fun and tasty.

Had a Chiropractor appointment out in Edgewood and looking for somewhere to have lunch. I remember several people mentioning that Pizza Barn was good so we decided to give it a try and I am so happy we did. I love mom and pop shops for pizza and this one did not disappoint. The pizza was absolutely delicious and was fully loaded with toppings. The crust had a wonderful crunch to it. The whole pizza was delectable. We also shared a chef salad that didn't look too appealing in its container but to my surprise was actually very tasty and fresh. Service was nice and restaurant was comfortable. We will definitely be back to have this amazing pizza again

Pizza on a Saturday night. Order at the counter then find a table if you can. We had an hour and a half wait as they were slammed with a full house and carry out orders for balloon fest. It was not overly loud inside. We played cards to pass the time and it was worth the wait! The breadsticks and pizza were both awesome. Crunchy but light crust with a good amount of cheese and toppings. I recommend the Route 66!

On a last minute whim I decided to visit my best friend in Edgewood. He told me about this place and well long story short he basically had me at pizza. Walking in I really enjoyed the layout of the place. The vibe was really chill. The staff was really friendly. Lots of seating options. Towards the back they had tvs showing sports. Not sure exactly what to expect I almost walked straight to the dining area thinking we'd order at the table. My friend quickly directed me to the register. Oops! lol I do have to say the menu was very nice. They offered a good variety for just about everyone. We settled with the Route 66 Pizza minus the olives. When it came out let me tell ya the presentation was excellent. The pizza had a great ratio of cheese and toppings. Whats funny is I almost requested extra cheese out of habit but I'm glad I didn't because the regular cheese portion was perfect. The crust had a nice crunch. The sauce combined with the crust, the cheese, and the toppings was a one way ticket to aw yeah. Each bite was savory. My only regret was eating it too fast. I mean I blinked and it was gone. FYI these guys also serve beer! Overall I had a great experience. This is the perfect joint for a Friday night/ Saturday night kickback with some friends or family. It almost reminds of the glory days of the 90s when we as a society used to go inside and sit in a pizzeria rather than just go for take out. I feel like joints like this are a rare find these days. It goes without saying I'll definitely be back the next time I find myself in Edgewood.

What a cool place. I saw the billboards driving down the 40 and love me a good calzone. Tried their Chiles bread sticks. The large is so big. The hot wings could be a little hotter :) but they were still pretty good. This place was pretty busy which is a good sign. I would highly recommend this place they also have a good selection of beers.

Let me start by saying we have driven down the 40 numerous times to my wife's dad's house just passed Edgewood. Often I have seen the billboard that said Pizza Barn. Finally on our last trip I said let's grab a bite there and see how it is We went in and ordered our pizza and also the green chili cheese bread. You have to have green chilies when you're in New Mexico. They better be Hatch. When our pizza arrived it looked delicious as well as the green chili cheese bread. When we bit into the pizza both my wife and I looked at each other and almost synonymously said that is the best pizza crust I've ever had. We spoke to the team about their pizza crust. People drive all the way from Albuquerque and other far away distances to have this pizza crust. I have eaten a lot of Pizza in my day, but this was fantastic! Next next time we're traveling through Edgewood, you can bet that you'll find us at the Pizza Barn! It is delicious! Stop in and give them a try, you will not be disappointed. #irishcatv2

Pizza Barb is well staffed and they don not disappoint. The are quick and efficient. Their pizza is definitely one of the best in New Mexico. In fact I would venture to saw one of the the best I have enjoyed in the United States. Of course my favorite topping is the wickedly delicious green Chile. Normally we have a great fantastic peaceful date night. Unfortunately tonight there was a woman scolding her little boy loudly who was actually behaving grat while husband was passed out in the booth. Perhaps that's where anger should be targeted. I guess not calling Edgewood PD was where the employees fell short. I will chalk that to their youth.

    The farmer Vegetable pizza

Traveling down Route 66 / hwy 40 and found this gem. The best pizza Ever ! We had the farmer filled with Veges and added some extra garlic & jalapeños, and it was absolutely delicious and what made it was the crust. It wasn't too thick too thin and had a perfect crunch to it. And the young man that took her order was so helpful because we were gonna build our own veggie pizza and he helped us just add to the farmer. Thank you Pizza barn we will stop in again for sure.

This place has some really good pizza. The crust is crispy without being thin. The ingredients are fresh you can taste the crunch in the veggies. Had the supreme and the rancher, added green chili and jalapeños to both. The service was friendly, and the pizza is made pretty fast considering how busy they get. They have a good choice of beers on tap. This is a nothing fancy what you see is what you get kinds place. Worth the trip from ABQ.

Over 20 minutes wait doesn't make it a quick stop on the road but it did come out super hot.

There was a bit of live music on the patio after some rain. Both outside and inside spaces were plenty. The young server was very attentive and was on top of things. We went with friends so we sampled a few things. Our friends ordered the chicken bbq pizza and dry rub wings, while we ordered the chicken pesto and the New Mexican pizza. The thin crust on all pizzas was perfect, with a good balance between crunchy and soft. The green chile from the New Mexican pizza had a kick, the bbq chicken was tasty, and the pesto was smooth and mild. We all agreed that the pizzas needed more cheese. The wings were crispy but the rub didn't have flavor and the chicken was a bit dry. For our drinks, I got the Golden Ale while everyone else got La Madera. The Golden was smooth, lagers, with a bit of hoppiness. La Madera was a mild, dark, sweet ale that was quite good. Overall, this was a very nice experience on a rainy evening, with good brick oven pizzas and a nice dark beer. The wings, though could have been better. However, we are planning a second visit to try other items.

We placed an order that was scheduled to be ready at 8:54 PM. We arrived at approximately 9:00 PM and were informed by the employee at the front counter that our order had not yet been started. When we politely mentioned the promised ready time, the employee responded in a rude and unprofessional manner, stating that the order was "not ready," that there were many other orders, and that we would need to wait an additional 30 minutes. The employee was a woman who appeared to be in her early 30s. For identification purposes only, she was African American. I want to be clear that this description is provided solely to help identify the individual involved, not to suggest anything inappropriate. In an effort to avoid conflict, we agreed to wait and remained in our car. After returning inside 30 minutes later, we were then told--again in an unfriendly and disrespectful tone--that our order had been canceled. When we requested the employee's name for reference, she refused to provide it. At no point did we behave in a way that would warrant this level of treatment. This experience was both frustrating and unacceptable, and it ultimately forced us to drive to Albuquerque to find an alternative. We respectfully ask that this situation be reviewed and that appropriate steps be taken to address employee conduct and reinforce proper customer service standards. Customers should be treated with professionalism and respect at all times.
