We are in shock!! Just witnessed a customer at the counter complaining about not getting his full order and when he requested a refund the manager said No and called him a BITCH!!! The manager should be fired!! All staff stood there watching this manager's foolish behavior and stopped serving the customers waiting for their pick up orders and waiting to order. We are so shocked we might never return. We frequently come here, at least once a week and we love the food but this was horrible behavior to witness. read more

As an out-of-town diner, I was not super impressed with this restaurant. Everything in the menu had green chilies -- on a pizza. Must be a local thing. Green chilies on a pizza were not good. The chicken was very light on the pizza -- I'm talking only two small pieces of chicken per slice. The pizza crust was okay. The water was absolutely disgusting and not consumable. When we asked for different water, they told us their water had "high mineral content", and left it at that. Nothing about this restaurant made me ever want to return. $51 for two pizzas. I just don't get it. I've tried multiple times and I dont get it. The food isn't anything special. The dough doesn't have a special taste to it. The toppings are usually generous which is good. We stopped by on a long road trip. We called in a to go order that they got 100% correct, which seems rare these days. The green chile breadsticks were great as were the pizzas. Totally disappointed with this stop tonight. I had just hit up Walmart pharmacy to pick up my scripts and my husband called in our order. Luck was not on my side when I rolled up to Pizza Barn to pick up my order. I asked the young man at the window for tea after he stated my ticket cost, then he turned and looked, turned back and said no. As I handed him my card he then suggested soft drinks or lemonade. Not what I was after, but I suppose he was trying to make an effort. He then told me my order wasn't ready and to pull around and wait in the parking lot as it would be another 5 minutes and someone would bring it out to me. Ten minutes passed, nothing, so I rolled back into the drive thru where it took another 10 minutes there in wait time to figure out my order had been given to the wrong person and that they were in the midst of remaking the order - 8 more minutes. By the time I finally got my order in hands (12 minutes after the quoted 8), I almost had wished I picked up a few groceries at the store to whip up a dinner myself. Most of all, I was surprised they didn't throw something in besides their few apologizes, say like a salad, appetizer, or even a drink for my 30 minutes of wait time. Smh. We ordered half an Artichoke Round up and half Route 66 pizza. The Route 66 pizza was great, no complaints. The Artichoke Round up tasted flavorless compared to the first time I got it a few months ago. It seemed and appeared to be lacking - garlic, feta, and Parmesan. Looks like just mozzarella on it compared to the clumpy look of feta I had on the last one. Out of tea, parmesan, and feta maybe? Tonight, they seemed to be way off their game. Again, disappointing. Excellent pizza. We got the special which was pepperoni with lots of vegetables. And the farmers pizza with no cheese. Our crew included 1 carnivore, one vegetarian and one vegan. The pepperoni was place on half of a 14 inch pizza so the carnivore and vegetarian were very happy with the meal. The vegan order a small farmer's pizza without cheese (vegan cheese isn't an option) and she said it was very good. We order a Greek salad and all but the vegan enjoyed it immensely. read more

Very accommodating for groups with two distinct spaces; one with lots of family friendly booths and the other with a sit down bar and tables that can be configured to suit. The offerings with green chilies were probably the favorites including the bread sticks and combination with pepperoni, but be prepared for a little heat. The only thing that I didn't fully enjoy was the pizza with artichokes because they still had a bit of the woody stem left. Tons of local beers on draft which is always fun. A little past lunch time and Barn was pretty empty with only 3 customers sitting down. Ordered a simple cheese pizza to see if I liked the way they made it and the taste. It was very airy and the dough and crust were great. But I totally disliked the taste of the pizza mainly the sauce coupled with the cheese. The taste was off putting to me and my taste buds were not happy. The mini salad was just okay nothing to rave about. Even though hardly any customers, the staff acted like they had no idea who ordered what. Not in my top 20 pizza places. In addition it would be ideal if the total was actually rang up on your cash register so the customer could see the total. read more
