Excellent pizza each and every time. The pizza is a thinner crust, a large is pretty big, and the sauce is always the same and always great. For some reason their banana peppers are soo good. They are crisp and have a great taste even after baked on the pie. The pizza is a 10, but I always struggle Over that or. A pepperoni hoagie. It's two 10's. So Much pepperoni and great sauce. Their salads are even good! The restaurant is always clean, and the staff is attentive and always personal. Don't hesitate to try this pizza place, you'll definitely want more. Passing through Granville on my way back east and ended up at Pizza Al's because the place my wife and I wanted to go to was closed. I was transported back to my childhood in New Jersey where we had excellent New York style pizza, except here the counter help was very friendly. Hot, fresh, tasty pizza that was inexpensive. It was great! It's not fancy. It's not fine dining. It's not fancy pizza with unusual ingredients that will set you back $30 for a 12" pizza. Good pizza, great value! We got a couple of the extra large pizzas for the swim team after a meet, they were HUGE, yet not that expensive! Staff was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Would go back regularly if we lived in the area. read more

I'm a believer in the Pizza Al's now, especially in the University Towne Center location. The pizzas are reasonably priced and very large!! More importantly, the service there is outstanding. Employees mask up, which I'm sure is a PITA for them, but appreciated. Ive had the luck of being waited on by the same young fella the two times Ive been there and he is super friendly - definitely an asset to their business. Will be coming back from Fairmont for more future pizzas! read more

Pizza Als is just not that good any more. It was my go-to for years. Now their pizza seems to lack any flavor. A very weak sauce and bland dough make this pizza very poor for NY style. There are much better places to eat pizza in Morgantown than Als. read more

Honestly, my girlfriend and I order the pizza here at least 2 times a week, it's just THAT good. The staff is incredibly friendly, it appears to be family ran. The pizza is always edge to edge on the huge box(probably 16" diameter), and it's only $9.40 for a small(16"?). Will always be the best pizza in Morgantown, choose this location over the University Ave. location if you want better quality and quantity. I downloaded Yelp just to leave this review. read more

Steak sandwich was real good! It was real steak! And plenty of it. The only negative I will say is that they charge $1.00 extra for onions, the lettuce tomato and mayo came with price any other extra was $1.00 extra. Not a fan of that charge. I ate at a Pizza Al's up in Pittsburgh on Rte 19 and their pizza was great! However, I got on here and it was not so good. I just got a plain pizza to go. It was okay, but nothing to write home about. I don't know if they paid to get the BOM rating, but their pizza is not the best of Morgantown. They weren't crowded so it wasn't a problem with them being busy. The main problem with the pizza is the dough. It's very cheap stuff, like the kind of crap you get in the freezer section of a discount store. I can tell good pizza dough and theirs isn't it. Maybe if they get a better supplier they would make a better pizza. read more

Amazing! 10 out of 10! Thin, light, crispy on the bottom crust. 20 in large, 4 cokes and a yuengling- $22 - not bad for lunch for 5!

As good as I remember the original Pizzeria Italia by Suburban Lanes...if you are used to edge-to-edge toppings, you may feel that they are skimping but the crust, sauce & cheese are amazing so I don't miss the 100 pepperonis you can get elsewhere. The crust is thin with the perfect combination of crunchy & chewy. You can get pitchers of Peroni and soda, whichever floats your boat, or there are bottled sodas and water in a cooler. They were busy tonight but our pizzas were done in about 15 minutes. read more

Best pizza in Morgantown! Usually I toss pizza crust to my dog, but when we order from here she has to fight me for it! Before COVID, I'd love to drink a cold, draught beer while waiting on my takeout pizza. read more
