New to the area- best pizza we have found and nice staff. They've been kind and prices are very reasonable.

Here you can observe some of the local elites, tossing their blonde fake tresses and drinking expensive champagne while making sure everyone sees their brand spanking new Louis Vuittons and huge bosoms, and then there is the much more subtle and respectable old money clientele with their exquisite tailoring, indulging in one of the lovely Cabernets served here. And the Cabernet is lovely. The escargot is glorious, it is served with a little toasty roll that you use to dip up that glorious garlic sauce in the serving dish. I had the dover sole, which was straight in from, you guessed it, Dover! ;' ) I had it with fresh broccolini and parmesan risotto. G had sea bass with lobster risotto. Both dishes were cooked beautifully, the fish is flaky and light and the risotto were perfect. Our server Cody, who is absolutely wonderful by the way, tried to tempt us with desserts (one of which was a caramel hot lava cake!) but we were so full from dinner that we had to decline. Next time perhaps. And there will be a next time. PS: this is not the sort of place where you're going to whip out your phone and start photographing everything. Hence the lack of photos.

The ribeye was perfectly cooked to my medium rare preference and very good. The dessert selection was impressive, The service was OK it's below what I would expect from my fine dining experiences. I will still be back to bring my husband too. My son and I went there after moving him into his dorm.

I've been to Oliverio's a handful of times, and it never misses, but this visit was next-level…read morethanks to our server, Sierra. She was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, upbeat, and incredibly attentive without being overbearing. You can tell right away when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and Sierra is that person. She knew the menu inside and out, made great recommendations, kept everything moving smoothly, and somehow managed to be everywhere at exactly the right time. Drinks never ran dry, food came out perfectly timed!

Much to my dismay, Oliverio's isn't a cereal made with olives (Can you imagine THAT cereal milk…read morethough?). But like a popular cereal, it's Grrrrrrrrreat! 5 Stars for a casually elegant restaurant by the river in Morgantown, WV. It can get pretty packed so you may find a small wait. I think they take reservations so that would be a good option. I've only been during the week when staying at the Marriott a short walk away. Our work crew loved it so much on our first trip, that we ate here 2 nights in a row on the 2nd trip. Over the few trips, I had the special (pear gorgonzola ravioli), the Sicilian Trio (Lasagna, Stuffed Shell, Baked Ziti), Stuffed Shrimp and Risotto, Wedding Soup, Arancini, Stuffed Hot Long Peppers, fried zucchini, peanut butter pie, biscoff cheesecake, lemon cake and few cocktails. And I enjoyed everything! The bread is good too! Speaking of dessert, make sure to save room for dessert. I usually don't order dessert unless something talks to me. And with 10 or so desserts talking over each other, 2-3 always stand out to me. If I'm ever back in Morgantown, I'll be back to this restaurant for sure. One of the highlights of my trip!

There are lots of great things about this restaurant and just a few issues…read more We were a group of five, 3 adults, 2 preteens. We were welcomed nicely, lead to a fairly quiet round table. Shortly after our waitress stopped by for drink orders and another large group of women were seated right next to us. We could barely hear each other. The entire rest of the room was empty! But they got seated less than 2 feet away. I know they were having a good time, us, not so much. Hostess tip: in this type of instance don't stack people on top of each other. There was plenty of space to spread us out. We ordered appetizers and dinners. appetizers were delicious: peel n eat shrimp, spinach artichoke dip and calamari (my grandson wanted it!) Dinners ordered: Beef Wellington, salmon (ordered blackened), Cajun chicken Alfredo, child's beef tips and chicken basket. All the dinners were great, as well as the asparagus, BUT, the salads greens were brown. I even pointed it out to the waitress, but they didn't seem very concerned. I even thought they might offer a small discount, it was that bad. For the five dinner with tip was over $225. You certainly can eat for less, beef Wellington alone was $50. All in all, beautiful setting, cozy dining room. Friendly staff. We will go back sometime.
