I'm not quite sure where to start, the service from the staff is top notch. You are acknowledged the moment you walk through the door and staff are attentive throughout your interactions with them. The portions are humongous, most definitely a great value for what are going to pay. The atmosphere is fitting to an Italian Deli, this is a must stop if you are in the area.

We tried this place for the 1st time, you order from a kiosk however staff was ready to answer any questions if needed. My meatballs were not hot but lukewarm and average tasting. They sell Olive oil straight from Italy. I would like to try something else next time.

When visiting Morgantown, my boyfriend insists on visiting Nonno Carlo. They have a variety of delicious hot sandwiches. I love the Prosciutto and Mozzerella and he loved the Porchetta. There's also a variety of Italian goods to check out why you wait for your food

Tried this place for first time. Mostly reviewing the pastrami sandwich. It's okay, not amazing. Average quality pastrami. Focaccia for bread choice also takes away from it if you're a rye fan. Overall they have a lot of decent looking sandwiches on menu. I would go back to try something different.

The deli/store is ok and the atmosphere is fine. Counter service is friendly. The meatball sandwich is recommended as their best. It was underwhelming. While the meatballs and sauce were good, the bread was generic and there was very little provolone. I asked for a little Parmesan to put on top. Overall I expected more but it was just ok at best.

Very good food--the bread in particular was fantastic. I ordered the Italian Sandwich. It was great. The dressing on it, coupled with the fresh cuts of meat, made as authentic a sandwich as I had since I was a little boy growing up in the heart of Italian New England. What takes the review down is the small portion sizes couple with the exorbitant costs. Everything in the pic I am adding cost $20.00 for lunch. Not good.

I needed to find some dinner and take back To my motel room. So I decided to chaccount Nonna Carlo at the suncrest shopping center. I actually have eaten here before but it was another to go order about six months ago with my daughter in law. This trip i'm solo! Talk to the cashier about good healthy choices, also telling her what I liked. She made the suggestion of trying their meatball appetizer which in addition to Meatballs includes sauce and housemade fresh ricotta cheese. I told her that sounded delicious just my hair describing the dish and was willing to try it. I also chose their caprese salad as a side which included their homemade house mozzarella I took my purchases back to the hotel room where I enjoyed them in a nice quiet environment after a long day at the hospital and testing. I have to admit the food was absolutely delicious and I definitely get it again. I'm highly recommending this place for anybody in the area. Oh it also came with a piece of homemade bread which was to die for!

Here you can observe some of the local elites, tossing their blonde fake tresses and drinking expensive champagne while making sure everyone sees their brand spanking new Louis Vuittons and huge bosoms, and then there is the much more subtle and respectable old money clientele with their exquisite tailoring, indulging in one of the lovely Cabernets served here. And the Cabernet is lovely. The escargot is glorious, it is served with a little toasty roll that you use to dip up that glorious garlic sauce in the serving dish. I had the dover sole, which was straight in from, you guessed it, Dover! ;' ) I had it with fresh broccolini and parmesan risotto. G had sea bass with lobster risotto. Both dishes were cooked beautifully, the fish is flaky and light and the risotto were perfect. Our server Cody, who is absolutely wonderful by the way, tried to tempt us with desserts (one of which was a caramel hot lava cake!) but we were so full from dinner that we had to decline. Next time perhaps. And there will be a next time. PS: this is not the sort of place where you're going to whip out your phone and start photographing everything. Hence the lack of photos.

Had a reservation to sit at the bar and placed an appetizer order of the large meatball and Caesar salad. Meatball was good but the cheese filling promised was lackluster, and the temp of the meatball wasn't very warm. The Caesar salad was good. We also had table bread which came out hot and had a variety of butter, oil, and olive jam. I ordered the pasta alla vodka. It took 37 minutes to come out AFTER the appetizers were cleared. I can honestly say I have no idea why it took that long for two people's orders. It got to the point where I considered telling the bartender to cancel the order bc they obv hadn't even started our meals. Food when it came out finally was good - but the vodka sauce really wasn't. More like a creamy sauce that was very thin. Reminded me of cream of crab soup without the crab or old bay seasoning. Restaurant was nice, somewhat loud at times but being in the bar area we had a wall blocking out the sound. Overall it was good. Probably more of a 3-star experience but.

She was so friendly and very attentive. The ambiance is also very nice! For drinks, I had the Espresso Martini and the Chocolate Old Fashioned. These were both delicious! The breadsticks were also very buttery and tasty. For an appetizer, we had the Bruschetta. It is a different take than normal bruschetta and I am not the biggest fan of it. The one complaint about the bruschetta is that it was extremely salty. This made it less enjoyable. For an entree, I had the Crispy Chicken Rigatoni. This was yummy, but I feel as though the vodka sauce was missing something. The Lobster Ravioli was also delicious and did not miss!

We got the salmon salad, chicken parm, and stuffed peppers. The latter was the only decent thing. The salmon on the salad was dry and burned to a crisp. Had to send it back. The chicken parm was slopped sideways onto my plate with the pasta... that was still dripping/pooling with water. The cheese was definitely not what I expected. It looked and tasted like a single slice of Kraft provolone. The pasta came with a salad that was served on a tiny bread plate, you know, one of those that holds a little roll when used properly. All in all, terrible value. Won't be going back. The photos say it all.

Shortly after our waitress stopped by for drink orders and another large group of women were seated right next to us. We could barely hear each other. The entire rest of the room was empty! But they got seated less than 2 feet away. I know they were having a good time, us, not so much. Hostess tip: in this type of instance don't stack people on top of each other. There was plenty of space to spread us out. We ordered appetizers and dinners. appetizers were delicious: peel n eat shrimp, spinach artichoke dip and calamari (my grandson wanted it!) Dinners ordered: Beef Wellington, salmon (ordered blackened), Cajun chicken Alfredo, child's beef tips and chicken basket. All the dinners were great, as well as the asparagus, BUT, the salads greens were brown. I even pointed it out to the waitress, but they didn't seem very concerned. I even thought they might offer a small discount, it was that bad. For the five dinner with tip was over $225. You certainly can eat for less, beef Wellington alone was $50. All in all, beautiful setting, cozy dining room. Friendly staff. We will go back sometime.
