I was there a few weeks ago for a no chip mani and regular pedi. The lady (Amy) doing my mani was nipping and pulling on my bare skin around my nails in areas that didn't require any cleanup, with her sharp tools. I pulled away a few times and asked her to stop and she just nodded. She then proceeded to spray my fingers with alcohol which instantly stung horribly, irritated my skin, and was experiencing burning sensations. The receptionist asked me what happened and I told her of my experience. She apologized and said she would comp my next no chip mani visit. I booked my next no chip mani & pedi appointment for yesterday and asked to have a different manicurist. I walked up to the counter expecting to only pay for my pedi but tip for both services, only to be told she noted that she was upgrading my pedi. I reiterated our last convo from my previous appt/ experience and that she failed to disclose that only an upgraded pedi was going to be given nor disclosed any of this when I checked in. All she had to say was, "I'm sorry I didn't mention it to you but now you know that you can take advantage of the upgrade at your next appointment. If you think that you'd be given anything more then it's a mistake to think that way." I told her she can keep the upgrade cause I wasn't coming back to claim it or to the spa after being mistreated. She responded, "ok that's fine. Have a nice day." I left paying the $75 without a tip. The same girl calls 10min later and leaves a voice message asking for a call back to hear about my most recent experience. What? You failed to assess the situation properly, negate my responses, dismissed me, and rather the owner reaching out, they had the inexperienced receptionist to call and ask about my recent experience, again? I thought wrong assuming being located at the Glen that I will have a great experience even if it came with a premium. Instead they have inexperienced manicurists and a rude receptionist running the spa. No thanks. read more

Everyone was super sweet walking in my first time there! My usual nail lady was busy for a last minute appt so I searched reviews and landed here last week. The lady who did my nails did gel x as requested. She messed up applying two nails putting them on crooked or not sealed all the way with the gel - no problem she re did them. Nails looked great once finished. The 2 star rating is for the 4 nails that have fallen off in a week! If you've done gel before, you know how strong those nails are once put on and should last for 2-3 weeks minimum. For $75 with tip, I was super disappointed. Don't come here for gel x :( read more
