I feel that the class itself is a gift of so much more than just yoga. Cassie is so kind, gentle, and welcoming. What I enjoy the most though, is her knowledge in the areas of yoga, and the female body - especially in this delicate time. I learn something new in every class and always leave feeling refreshed, calmed, and further educated. I love the way we start most classes introducing ourselves and chatting a bit. All girls in this position have things they'd love to chat about w girls in a similar position, but sometimes need an ice breaker. Most of the questions she asked were irrelevant to my concerns (including whether my roommate had a girlfriend), and she offered no strategies, feedback, or support. Her nonverbal behavior also felt awkward and at times condescending. I would not recommend seeing this therapist, as the session felt unproductive and a waste of time.
