Okay, let me start by saying, this place is an absolute GEM!!! I attended two different classes with my sister and both were amazing. The instructor was so nice, funny and informative. She had us laughing through the whole session with her comments and jokes. Everything she showed us she talked about what the exercises can do and how it can help internally as well. I suffer with chronic stomach pains and no matter what i do they just don't go away so i was intrigued. Before the class started i informed everyone that i have a persistent cough i had been suffering with for the past few weeks and i apologized ahead of time for being disruptive. Through the whole class we did so many breathing exercises and i had not coughed once. I was amazed by this, and along with the coughing i also felt no pain in my stomach like i usually do. By the end of the class i felt calm not only mentally but internally with my organs and body. These classes they offer are really beneficial, and the techniques they use have been used for many many years before so I am happy there are places that offer this. Body & Brain Yoga has been the perfect compliment to my physical and spiritual growth practices. The classes have helped me rebalance my energy by opening up my chakras and meridians. I am much more aware of experiencing energy flowing throughout my body. My body feels more open with this work than it did with hatha Yoga (although I do like that yoga as well). From a spiritual perspective, this works nicely in conjunction with my Centering Prayer practice and my studies in A Course in Miracles. We are here, at this time and place, to rediscover our True nature - who we really are, and to make a difference on this planet. B&B Yoga utilizes our bodies to get to that place. In the past few months, I have been on a mission to improve myself. I believe I must develop spiritually before I can heal my physical body. I have learned about many spiritual teachings and some had more meaning than others for me. I knew the things in my Self I wanted to change, but struggled with actually making the change because I didn't know how. By attending Dahn Yoga, for less than 1 month, I feel I have made huge progress in my spiritual growth. I was taught how to make the changes that I had learned about, but didn't know how to make. Chair Taichi & Meditation for Office Workers and Anyone After a very long search, I came across this 'class' which ticked all my boxes. My disability confines me to a wheelchair, it doesn't like early mornings and it won't settle for quiet meditation. So this is perfect. As my disability progresses I struggle in most classes but gentle movement is really important to wheelchair users. This class is not specifically aimed at disabled wheelchair users but it would be good for anyone infirm e.g. older people and those that live sedentary lives e.g. office workers. Even if you go to the gym, this is go for your soul so is highly recommended for some midweek relaxing movement. read more

I started taking classes at Dahn Yoga because the arthritis in my knees had become very painful. It was recommended to me for the gentle stretching that yoga provides. After just the first class I was hooked. I felt better and had more energy at the end of the class. I love that we not only stretch but also finish the class with meditation. You are truly helping not only your body but also your mind. Deanna is a great instructor and very compassionate. She is always encouraging and helps me break though my doubts that would keep me from trying to do better or work harder. My knees are so much better then when I started. read more

My experience was amazing, healing, and very transformative for my mind, body, and spirit. The therapists understood my limitations and current lack of ability in movements/balance and they assisted me as I joined in on a Tai Chi session today. Along with the great workout here I also received an excellent healing massage from Alina that opened up tight musculature that hadn't been released to the current degree of relaxation for many years. Body and brain has been a life-changing experience for me. I was at the end of my rope, didn't know what to do! I knew I needed to change my life before something really bad happened, I walked in and spoke with Master Sal (thank you so much, I love you) and I continue to grow stronger everyday I have stopped self-medicating, I have lost 30 lbs. Found out about this through the meetup app, I zoomed the chakra healing class yesterday . Master Julia did a great job teaching, her enthusiasm and positive vibe made the class enjoyable and all the moves she teaches can be done by anyone. By the time we finished I felt great and could feel the positive energy throughout my body. This place is really life-changing. Here basic yoga exercises are intertwined with a very wide phylosophy, that is a great guidence for personal growth. It helped me to get through very hard life challenges, change perspective on certain things and reconnect with loved ones. Quite some of the bad habbits too. Stuff is more than supportive. My first time and Master Julia was everything and more than I could have ever speculated. Master Julia is warm, inviting, has a peaceful, encouraging energy. I was on video and she helped me feel totally comfortable. Wish others would have shared their video, but I get not everyone is comfortable being seen. They have some Korean ways of doing things which are different than other yoga practices but I listened to what they were saying and learned the principles and have to say they teach timeless principles of body and brain health that you can use to heal your life and live your dreams. Body and Brain started online yoga class in the event of Covid pandemic. I have been a long time member and enjoy yoga classes with them and I was about to miss that luxury. Now with online classes I can join the group and get great stretching, jigam , breathing and meditation. It kept me stable and strong physically and mentally during this difficult time. Love this place! Attended classes there 15 years ago. Then 5 years ago and now came back for good. Tryied different classes and styles of yoga but always come back to Dahn Yoga.
