Bad very bad service, I went to yoga sculpt last week and I was ready for my class at 6pm, I went for 2 minutes to my car to leave my personal stuffs and she closed the door, I leave my mat , towel and bottle of water ready inside the studio and she never checked and started the class, if she notice that one spot was empty she should to check what happened, maybe in the restroom or hallway before start the class, I called twice I leave a message and nobody call me back about my personal stuffs, I went next day and I told the person in charge what happened to me and she not even apologize about the issue. I will never come back!!! I have my membership for 7 years and this is the worst CorePower studio that I've ever been. I love Park Ridge, Oak Park and many others. This is the worst service ever in Arlington Hts read more

For a drop-in when randomly in town for work, this was lovely. It's always fun to have a new flow for yoga and there were a ton of classes on the schedule. They had locker rooms with showers and everyone was very helpful and friendly. There were windows at the back of the space, so this isn't for any people. read more

Oh do I love yoga! This location is located in downtown Arlington Heights there is ample parking in the garage free or street parking. Nearby shopping, movie theater, and Starbucks. The staff is kind and courteous. Try to get here early because the classes get filled up quickly. There is only 2 studios and the place is clean. I've been here numerous times and really enjoy it. I love the heat in vinyasa C2 and HPF classes. read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The studios are clean, and the locker room makes me wish my bathroom looked like that. My trial week started on Monday. My goal is to go to at least one class per day. So far I've gone to Yoga Sculpt and and CorePower 1. Both are challenging classes, but not daunting. The instructors are inviting and challenge you to push harder for just a bit more. Thus far, I would describe CorePower as a combo of flow yoga and intensive cardio. Plus, each class has been in a "warm" environment. I have never sweat so much during a workout. I'm starting to regret eating all those burritos this year. My sweat often resembles salsa verde. That's healthy, right? There's plentiful parking, including an underground garage right next to the studio. No complaints at this point. Gotta run to another yoga class. Namaste! read more

Once again, I could not resist the Groupon for one month of unlimited yoga at CorePower. This time I attended classes at both the Arlington Heights studio and the Glen Ellyn studio. It is so convenient to be able to go to several studio locations. Arlington Heights studio is a fairly busy studio so they offer a lot of class options at various times. But that also means classes can be packed. I usually try to show up at least 10 minutes early so I could get space in the studio. I only went to one class where it was totally packed and we all had to squeeze in but it never really got in the way of my practice. I love Yoga Sculpt classes. It is a great strength workout + a lot of yoga. It is challenging for many levels but still accessible for beginners. I also love Core Power 1. Some instructors are better than others, of course, but I think in general they do a good job of leading the class and correcting your form. The locker rooms are great. Always nicely cleaned and plenty of locker availability. You'll need to bring your own lock if you want to lock up your stuff though. I often use the showers after hot yoga because I hate having a long drive home in super sweaty clothes and the shampoo and soap available works nicely and smells good. Overall, I think CorePower is a huge hit. read more

Love this studio! Great instructors, great atmosphere, And I feel they really try and be connected in each community where they have a space. It didn't feel like a chain at all it felt very local and organic... read more

Extremely rude. They don't even deserve 1 star! Went in to buy some of their cute clothes. However, I was turned away! Front desk girl, said I could not buy anything unless I was a member. The way she said it was very rude! I wasn't asking for discounts or anything I was going to spend $200 on their attire. Updating me review! Upon contacting the corporate office with my complaint. Marie the regional retail manager, emailed me back apologizing and explaining the situation. She very sweet in the email. Though I did not want a discount of any sort she extended one to me. I greatly appreciate her going out of her way to have me come back & purchase what I originally wanted to buy. Thank you, Marie for making me feel welcomed to go back! read more

Great local spot to work out and relax. Definitely recommend the sculpt class if you're looking for a challenging cardio work out. The studio manager, Monika is incredibly accommodating and helpful. She was super helpful and made me feel comfortable as I am slowly returning after having my baby. Tons of classes to fit anyone's schedule. Best part, I feel this is a completely judgment free place where I can be in my own head and not worry about what others are thinking. Love it. read more

Update to add the schedule is still not as varied for me to get into a class during the week. Wishing they would add late evening yoga sculpt. I end up going to other studios even though this one is the closest. read more

My experience has been tarnished by the Karen of this location. As a woman of color, I experience micro aggressions at times but did not expect the treatment I received today. During my Saturday hot yoga class, I was standing underneath the heater and moved at the start of the class to an open location. Karen started by giving me a stink eye and rudely told me to move, despite the fact that she had room to her left. I moved as much as I could, but was unable to because there was a pillar to the right of me. She huffed and puffed before stomping to the front of the classroom. All of this could have been avoided if she asked nicely but the whole class, she kept eyeing me as if I did a huge injustice. After class, my friend confronted her, and she started yelling about how it had ruined her "karma". The staff at this location heard us out but didn't want to take sides. In matters of injustice, not taking a side is still taking a side. I'm disappointed that no one said anything to stop that lady for yelling and acting in an entitled manner. To CorePower Karen, your actions have consequences. As a white woman, you should be aware that your body language and entitled behavior affects people. People come to yoga to detox from stressful weeks. Your toxicity is not welcome. Please do better. Act nicely. Try not to ruin peoples day. Thank you! read more

This has been a complete blessing. I have been going to the 6am classes and I am not even Express how awesome these teachers are. I myself am a yoga instructor and absolutely love the way they teach. Today Tuesday, the instructor, I believe her name was Rose? Opened up about a situation and led that to a inspiring quote. It keeps me motivated and strong. So happy to practice here. ‍ read more

I don't agree what "Lisa R" saying about the correction & Shavasana- If you're brand new and the teachers are coming after you all the time for every single posture you do. How will you feel? I'm sure normal people will feel discouraged and quit. I have been practiced at Arlington Heights studio for almost two years now. They have been correcting my postures alone the way. I was able to prefect my postures as time goes by. About staying as long as you want after the class- if you're the students who are waiting to attend the class & you found out there are still people in there and the people can't go in clean the floor. How would you feel if you have to practice Yoga with other people's sweat from last class. If you really need more time to do shavasana, please do it at home. Please be considered for others. read more

I just completed my first free week. I loved it so much that I just decided to become one of their yoga for trade workers! As a fresh out of college student in an unpaid internship, I would not have been able to afford their rates. Every class I've been to so far as been a joy! I went in with no yoga, albeit a lot of dance, training. The teachers were wonderful and I was able to follow along perfectly. The teachers were friendly and helpful. Each class helped me improve and I left feeling so relaxed. I have taken CorePower 1 and Hot Power Fusion under several different teachers. I can't wait to keep doing yoga here! read more

I've been there multiple times, what concerns me in this studio is the hygiene standard; they don't usually clean before/after classes especially after steamed classes like HPF or C2. The teachers are not that friendly either; in one occasion i heard one of the C2 teachers and her coworker making fun of one of the students! read more

I regularly go to another suburban CorePower location but stopped in here one evening. Upon arriving, there was no one at the front to assist me. Another girl and I stood there for about 3 minutes until someone came out front, even though we only had 10 minutes until class started. They said the class was in the "front studio" without pointing me in the right direction. So, I walked into the studio closest to me and it was the wrong studio. I went back out and asked someone to show me the correct studio. Now for the instructor. I don't want to name names on here, but if the studio is interested, I'd be happy to speak confidentially. The instructor I had was the worst instructor I've had at any yoga studio anywhere, and I've been practicing on and off for 10 years. Issues: - The music was so loud that I couldn't hear his instruction. I know CorePower often has louder-than-average music, but I literally couldn't hear him. The music stayed this way halfway through shavasana as well. This was not only not relaxing, but caused an opposite, frustrating effect. - The lights were on full blast - He was going WAY too fast and without consideration for the breath. I can easily keep up in any C2 class, but his positions (that I couldn't hear) were being called out so fast that the following occurred: 1. There was no one-breath-to-one movement consideration 2. There was no discussion of or assistance with alignment 3. Everyone in the class was all over the place. Someone would be in downward facing dog, having completed a sequence, while another was moving into Warrior 2. It honestly looked comedic. This was the least coordinated, least mindful and most disruptive yoga class I've taken. I *may* try another class at this location but will definitely not go back to that class. If the next class is the same, this location will have lost me as a yogi. Note: Unlike other reviewers, I did think this studio was clean and I saw someone mopping the floor of the studio after I left. read more

I've tried many different workouts. P90X, Insanity, Crossfit, and Orangetheory Fitness are several programs I've tried. Corepower Yoga by far has been the best workout for me. Intense, spiritual, cardiovascular, flexibility and endurance building sum up my experience here. When I want a thorough cardio sculpting class, I take Yoga Sculpt. When I want to vary it up, I do Hot Power Fusion and C2. Tiffiny's 6 AM Thursday Sculpt class is absolutely incredible, and has proven to be far more difficult than ANY workout program or class I've taken. I leave here feeling energized, renewed, and at peace every time. The lavender lemon cloths that grace your forehead at the end of each class are rejuvenating and holistic. I LOVE the positive vibes and energy that the instructors and participants give out. Corepower has been nothing short of amazing and continues to enrich the quality of my fitness life time and time again! read more

Started looking for alternatives to weight lifting due to a list of back issues. Figured what is there to lose with a week free trial, right? Got hooked right away, certainly helps deal with the day-to-day issues I have become used to dealing with. I have not had a bad class yet, instructors are super helpful & nice. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Such a beautiful space to practice. It was my first yoga class with weights and I like the added strength but still want to check out a vinyasa flow. read more

Loved this C2 class I went to Monday night! I've been practicing yoga for about 15 years (mostly outside of Illinois) and I've been frustrated trying to find a yoga studio where I can invert and arm balance as I have been but also grow in the 'burbs. Kudos to this studio! I've been looking for you for three years! So nice to have finally found you! read more

The place is great. The schedule is impressive. One of the only studios in the area to offer 6am hot yoga. The studio is nice, the locker rooms are impressive with complimentary curling irons , blow dryers, hair spray, showers and whatever you need. Even complimentary tampons. The classes are great for all levels. Haven't been able to find a studio that has half of these options/amenities in the nearby area! read more

I wanted to take a moment and rave about Matthew!! He teaches a wonderful c2 and makes you feel magical as you leave! Come check him out he is wounderful! He teaches Saturday at 9:30 in Arlington Heights! read more

Love this place! Got a free week trial and was addicted... They offer many different classes all day long so it works well for me since I do work full time and go to school part time. All the teachers are amazing. Only complaint that I have is that it can get pretty crowded on Saturdays - mornings especially and you might get some stares if you're not already slim or "athletic looking." I got a few stares because I'm heavier set. Only happened once but just ignore the haters, you're there for yourself and not for them! 99% of the time teachers and fellow students are awesome and motivating! read more

Boo! Don't be late to class or you'll get locked out! Called this morning for information and decided to go to the 930 class. I was a bit late and arrived to a sign on the door stating that thy lock doors when class starts. Nobody was there to let us in. Would have been a relevant fact to convey when I called beforehand!! read more

I am a CorePower Black Tag member, and I love the other studios. What concerns me about this studio is that it is not clean. I have attended hot yoga class twice now, and both times the floor in the room is sticky and disgusting. Considering it is the first class of the day, I'm surprised by these conditions. It does not take much to run a wet swiffer through the studio after the prior class, which is what I have seen done at the other studios. I regularly practice at Deerfield, Old Orchard, and Park Ridge, and those studios are extremely clean, so I do not know why this studio's floor is so disgusting. I would give this studio only one star, but I have added a star because I really like the instructor and the times of the classes. Unfortunately, the conditions of this studio may prevent me from returning. read more

I started with an intro week and tried three different classes - C1, HPF and Core Restore, few times. I love the staff for their energy, the facility setup and cleanliness, the music in class, and the serenity and calm after class. I became a black tag member and now go 4 to 5 times per week at studios throughout the suburbs as well as in other states when I travel. read more

Love this place! Every class I've been to I love!! Yoga sculpt gives me the cardio and sweat I need a few times a week; I do hot power fusion the other days. I've tried so many different classes in my last few years this is by far my favorite place. I leave feeling energized and accomplished. The instructors are all up best and encouraging. If you're looking to sweat, dedicate 60 minutes to yourself, and feel encouraged to tackle goals this is the place to be. read more

I love this place! It is modern, clean, and offers incredible amount of classes. The workshops are amazing!

I have been practicing yoga for about six years and have been going to CorePower about one year. Here's my take.....clean facilities, some great teachers (Melina, Magica, Lisa are my favs), and lots of class times to choose from. Now the dark side..... When they start their spiel about offering hands on assistance in the beginning of class, rarely have I ever seen anyone actually assist or correct a posture. When I asked why they don't correct postures, they told me that they have no standards.....wait WHAT! Deduct a star...... Of course there are standards, no matter what your level, otherwise people would be doing yoga willie-nillie. Standards also prevent people from getting hurt. Geesh! Also at the end of class when they say you are welcome to stay in final shavasana for as long as you like.....not really. Only until the lights flick on and the gals come in and start spraying the floor. Deduct half a star (but you can't do that.....hence three stars.) Advice? If the class and the teacher fit your schedule go for it but please pay attention to the verbal instructions for the poses. read more
