Most of the questions she asked were irrelevant to my concerns (including whether my roommate had a girlfriend), and she offered no strategies, feedback, or support. The place was very clean, everyone was very pleasant and I felt a sense of trust and peace, which is very important when dealing with any healing you undertake. When I tell you my first session with Jennifer and her assistant felt like an energy block was literally pulled away from my body. I was overcome with emotion and could literally feel the energy moving from head to toe. I went home that day and felt drained, but knew I had to finish my treatment. The second and third treatments helped solidify my feelings, and I felt more aware of my own self and re-aligned. Street parking was free and easy on Church street. Nia's place was spotless, welcoming, and had a positive vibe as soon as I entered. Nia checked in with me about areas in my body where I was having pain (post surgery stuff) and then had me change in a small, quiet room with relaxing music playing. The session itself was glorious. I felt completely relaxed and cared for as Nia checked in with me about pressure (which was perfect). There were tight spots on my body I didn't even realize, and then they were gone. I don't have words to explain how amazing the sound healing was. Nia played both off my body and then set the bowls on certain places. The level of rest and relaxation I experienced - I don't remember the last time I felt that at ease. After my session, I came out and chatted a bit as I returned to my body fully. Nia is a lovely human. I'm excited to go back.
