Prior to my first lesson, I had never done Yoga before. I was waking up every night from a sore lower back, unable to continue playing basketball each weekend & struggling to keep up with my two-year old. Through Mariana's tutelage and commitment, now 6 months later, I find myself breezing through physical activities that used to be a challenge and never dealing with recurring back problems. Not only is Essential Evolution a wonderful facility but all the teachers make Yoga approachable as they assure the comfort of all their students. Thank you so much for everything!

I felt so lighter after this meditation, just didn't realize how the time went so fast. I hope they provide this kind of events more often, so more people can join and experience this meditation. Only thing that I personally didn't like was that Ray's voice cut off multiples times during the session, I am not sure if it happened because my connection was bad. Laurina is a fabulous teacher!…read more I was skeptical in learning TM at first, but my son and daughter persuaded me to learn. I have been meditating ever since (3 years now) and have not looked back. It completely manages my anxiety to the point that I do not take any meditation for anxiety, helps me sleep better, and it has drastically improved my MS symptoms. I recommend TM to everyone. It's a great tool to have in today's stressful lifestyle. Also, a plus is that Laurina is a fabulous teacher!

Kristy shared with me some of the things she was able to intuit through Reiki about where i was blocked and a special message about my feet. Then to make matters worse, a similar pain moved into my right arm as well. I tried seeing my GP about the pain; I tried painkillers; I tried a chiropractor (10 visits) to no relief whatsoever! Finally, I made an appointment with Carla Gorsky at The Peaceful Heart. I was feeling so much better after two visits, but after three visits the pain was gone! Carla was able to really explore all the muscles and tissue surrounding my arm/shoulder and relieve so much pressure and pain. About two weeks ago I tweaked my knee, making it very difficult to bend my knee. I asked Carla to take a look and see what she could do. I left that session with much more movement and a lot less pain in my knee. Today (the day following our session) I was able to go to work in a busy preschool (which requires a lot of bending, kneeling, sitting, standing, etc) with ease. I can still feel a little twinge in the knee and I know I don't have full range of motion yet, but I know that I'm on the right track to wellness! Words cannot express how grateful I am that I found Carla! I was feeling so frustrated with my health and she has given me so much hope. Lastly, I'd like to say that Carla is just so delightful to work with. I am very self-conscious, and she (and her adorable dog, Charlie) made the whole experience very comfortable. Her home is peaceful and she really listens to what you're saying. I cannot recommend Carla Gorsky and The Peaceful Heart more!

I feel that the class itself is a gift of so much more than just yoga. Cassie is so kind, gentle, and welcoming. What I enjoy the most though, is her knowledge in the areas of yoga, and the female body - especially in this delicate time. I learn something new in every class and always leave feeling refreshed, calmed, and further educated. I love the way we start most classes introducing ourselves and chatting a bit. All girls in this position have things they'd love to chat about w girls in a similar position, but sometimes need an ice breaker. This helps w that and just makes everyone feel more comfortable and welcome. And she offers hot tea if she's made some :) love it My only regret is that I didn't find her months ago.
