Stopped in this morning for level 2 Vinyasa with Laura, and it was great. This yoga studio is comfortably large, well-heated and peaceful. They have plenty of free loaner yoga mats, and offer small towels too. There's a little shop with yoga clothing and Zen stuff for sale in front, and a little sitting room at the rear. Pretty peaceful setting. Laura is super friendly and gets a good flow going with her routines. Lots of balance and stretch, more so than strength or cardio routines. (the studio is located in a space that used to be a local toy store, and I enjoyed remembering where the boardgames, model airplanes, dolls and stuffed animals had been) read more

The classes flowed well as a group, while she was still able to help each student with adjustments. I tried out Reach for the first time today, the Sunday 8am class with Mia. It was FANTASTIC! I loved the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the music was great, and even the prop wall was extra well-done. I also appreciated that they have towels and do laundry there, because it was a little warm in the room (surely intentional). It took me a long time of Googling local yoga spots to find one with a Sunday morning class, and one that's open - a lot of the business that showed up on Maps are now closed. I'm so glad I discovered Reach, and will certainly be back! read more

Reach Yoga is an incredibly special studio. I've been a member for the past two years and I still gain so much from the instructors, the workshops, and the energy of my fellow students. The owners of this business are some of the most inconsiderate people I've ever experienced in my life. They start banging loud music at 6:30 in the morning and all of their neighbors can hear it and we've made complaints and they do nothing at all to respond.. They don't even return a phone call. I wouldn't go to this place if you gave it to me for free. read more

This is a super late review. I last visited this place a couple years ago, and was recently talking to a friend about my experience here. It was a really great place, where instructors actually cared about whether students understood yoga and the movement. I've been to a couple other yoga studios claiming to have a beginners level, only to leave their studios confused and regretful. Reach has THE best beginners courses in my experience. Had I lived in the North Shore, I'm sure I'd be a yogi by now. read more

I don't have a ton of experience with yoga yet, but I do love this studio! It's very cozy and the classes I've taken there have been really inspiring and good. The atmosphere is really comfortable and has a great vibe and the little shop at the front is cute, too, and has some nice yoga clothing and gift items. It's a very welcoming atmosphere for newbies like me and they seem to have a very well rounded class schedule that accommodates many skill levels. read more

I wish I could give it 6 stars. I recently went to a Thursday night Yin class and loved it. I walked in feeling stressed after a bad day and left feeling relaxed and happy. The instructor, Rebecca, was calm and put everyone at ease. I'll definitely be back. One of my favorite classes/studios. Plenty of street parking too. read more

With so many great yoga studios in the North Shore, you have plenty of places to practice. While for years while I loved the hot, lately it's been difficult to practice. Finding a studio that offered just yoga was important to me. I didn't want to hear other noises from other activities. Reach Yoga is a lovely space, with a chilled out vibe. No one talks on their cell phone in to the studio, and no one leaves early during shavasana. Two of my biggest pet peeves. With a membership package available to those that go a few times a week, it makes it that much better. read more

I loved my beginner series class here! Colleen is so sweet and very knowledgeable. The studio is beautiful, calm, clean and modern. The class teaches you the basics of yoga and is the perfect introduction to start your yoga journey. Unfortunately the prices for individual classes are $20. These prices are on the higher side - especially when some studios have a 10 or 20 class punchcard deal for about $10/class. Overall I truly enjoyed my experience here! It's a great location to take yoga in the suburbs. read more

Loved this yoga studio. I don't have a lot of experience with studios however found this one to be warm, welcoming, very clean and well stocked with quality mats, blocks, belts and clean towels. We were in from out of town during a holiday week and were able to find quite a few classes to choose from that worked for differing levels of yoga practice. read more

This is just the best studio of all that I have attended. I always receive a warm welcome when I come in the door and I am made to feel special from everyone there. The amount of available classes at all levels is quite amazing, with at least 6 classes each day to choose from. The instructor commitment level is noteworthy and their ability to communicate the yoga experience is outstanding. The people that practice there help create an enjoyable community of students with a common yoga bond. This studio continues to grow and mature with a vast variety of special classes and unique class offerings for everyone. read more

I have visited many of the yoga studios in the suburbs, but by far, Reach Yoga in Glencoe is the best. Right when you walk in the door, you feel the warmth and friendly, welcoming energy. The teachers are all fantastic and since I have a very hectic schedule, I feel totally comfortable choosing from a variety of classes and levels at different times and days. It also has one of the best floors in town. Often times, I move off the mat to feel the supportive, yet flexible wood beneath my feet and I get lost in the sounds of the beautiful waterfall wall.
