Today I woke up with a shattered screen on my iPhone. Going to be honest, I don't remember exactly how it happened but I'm going to assume it had to do with the several cocktails I had consumed last night. Not pointing fingers, but kind of pointing fingers (at drunk me, who probably got out of my Lyft and dropped it face-down on the cement). My first thought was "Nooooo! This is going to be so expensive. I'm going to have to get a new phone and that's going to make my monthly bill go up and mom and dad are going to see because they still pay my phone bill (which is so darn sweet of them and I appreciate it so much) and it's going to take all day to get a new phone!!" I brought it over during a pandemic and was quickly assisted while I waited in my car. Not only did the owner come outside to show me my opened phone interior having water cleaned out now, but he was nice enough to hand me a bag of rice to leave the phone in, just in case. I have a iphone xs max in great condition but like all my iphones facetime calls and youtube video audio was extremely low. I figured I had damaged a speaker so when I called in I asked to replace my speaker. They told me it probably just needed to be cleaned and that they could do it same day. Stood outside for 5 minutes while they dealt with a customer and dropped off my phone. Within a hour it was done and they showed me the areas they cleaned off. I've had a lot of iphones audio go out on me so it was cool that they showed me a good fix. Price wasn't bad for turn around and overall good experience.
