Unfortunately this review fell short of a 5 star review because one of the massage therapist, Alicia was running late by 10 mins and cut my massage short because she was running late... keep in mind I always arrive promptly to my appointment either 15 to 10 mins early. I found this unprofessional and devalued my time. She gave the person before me an hour and cut mine short by 10 mins so she wouldn't be over for the next person after me. My husband told me she doesn't do deep tissue even if you ask her, he said he was a little disappointed with it. She also made a reference to a woman weight who she just finished massaging prior to me. She made some comments to me regarding it and said that it was a relief to massage me cause I'm smaller. I found this offensive, referring to the weight of her last paitent. It was heartbreaking to hear this cause I literally just listened to the massage patient struggle with weight in the waiting room. This isn't fair or ethically right. It rubbed me the wrong way and myself and my husband will not be having our massage done by her ever again.

As I left, I saw that the waiting room was chock-full of people, which explained to me that this place is nothing more than a bone factory designed to bill the insurance industrial complex for all its worth. Meanwhile, my foot still hurts like hell. I'm going to find another doctor and will most likely cancel my December 2025 appointment. Sorry -- I don't ask for much, but I'm just not used to this crappy level of care. If you are, more power to you. However, there are plenty of lower-key, more personal-touch orthopedists in York County who actually care about patient recovery.

I always found the staff to be courteous, professional and very knowledgeable in working with my numerous injuries and rehabilitation from surgery. The physical therapist always took the time to listen to my goals. They asked about my life, hobbies, work, etc. It seemed like some of the things they had me doing as part of my therapy were specifically geared towards getting me back to my work and hobbies as fast as possible in a safe manor. The staff made physical therapy a much more enjoyable experience as they treated ne as an individual and not just another "one size fits all" client. I was here once for a bad back strain and got the help I needed and was given free sample muscle relaxers which helped greatly. I had 2 other appointments more recently also. The only real negative for me was I mentioned a particular area of concern and a check of my blood pressure was not done which I thought should be routine. I was seen in a timely fashion and all of the staff is friendly including Dr. Barr. I know some other patients of this practice and I would recommend them.
