My insurance covers the first visit copay. When I tried to tell this to the girl on the phone, she got snippy with me. I've decided not to come to Drayer because I don't want to deal with snippy when I have excruciating pain. I would like an easy, calm experience.

Which is all well and good but absolutely NOT worth the several hundreds of dollars they charge you/your insurance company PER VISIT. It's like a $50 service and they were charging several hundred. Big LOLz. I was shocked to receive such a high bill for such minimal therapy that I requested an itemized bill and discovered that they charge $44 each time they offer you an ice pack! LOL! I refuse to pay such an unscrupulous and immoral charge. It was truly just a regular ice pack from a freezer. $44! Annnyway, any medical debt under $500 can't be reported to credit bureaus so keep that in mind when assessing their insane bills. I don't know if ALL physical therapy is a sham and a scam, but I do know that this joint is. Avoid at all costs.

I was astounded by the lack of care and communication from Encompass rehab. My mother-in-law was…read morerecovering there. Her surgeon had told her that she may need 2 months of rehab - well, Encompass discharged her after 2 weeks. My father in law and my husband repeatedly called and left messages for her caseworker, Autumn, and she didn't return their calls. They were trying to understand why she was being sent home so soon when she obviously was not fit or ready to be sent home safely. While she was at Encompass during those 2 weeks, she fell while she was under nurse supervision in 2 separate instances. One of those instances was the day before she was scheduled for discharge. It boggles my mind that she was such a fall risk, yet Encompass thought it was fine to send her home to her 71 year old husband to take care of her. At the very least, she should've gone to a sub-acute facility until she was recovered enough to go home. Encompass did not set up the hemi walker nor the transfer board that she desperately needed to keep her safe at home. My father in law was left alone with NONE of the necessary medical devices to take care of her properly nor safely. Autumn did finally reply about those devices - she told him that "she'd look into it" and he never heard from her again, nor did the walker or transfer board ever arrive. Luckily, the at-home-care nurse from an agency that was scheduled to check in arrived within 24 hours of discharge and that nurse was a god send. She saw how unsafe my mother in law was at home and she called an ambulance and had her taken to the ER. She told us that my mother in law should've NEVER been sent home in this condition and she would've refused to sign off on papers that the patient was safely able to be at home. She is now safe in the hospital, waiting to be sent to Hershey rehab. I had also called and left a message for Erin Anderson, the Director of Quality. I never heard back from her. That seems to be the pattern there - they let calls go to voicemail and never return them.

I refused the shot, and decided to try physical therapy. I walked out of the first well known therapy center after showing up for my first appointment and being told they wouldn't treat Me without a mask on. I was having A good amount of pain and did not want to make myself any more uncomfortable by wearing a face mask. I drove right over to Fyzical after learning i would not Be forced to wear a face mask in their establishment. Staff was welcoming and beyond accomadating with a personalized plan to get rid of my pain. my therapist, Melissa P, really listened to what was going on and with her treatment and my work at home on exercises she gave me, I was pain free in about 2 months. I am now back at the fitness classes i Always enjoyed and never thought I'd be able to participate in again. This place gave me my lifestyle back and I can't thank them enough!!!

I initially chose John because it is his practice so you only work with him. I've been to other PT places where you have a different person each time so I feel there isn't any consistency. John works with you and explains what each stretch or exercise will do in helping you recover. His facility is in a great location and has all the necessary PT equipment. I cannot say enough good things about John.

Its not a "gym" with 15 people coming and going at once. It's one -on-one therapy with the physical therapist; John is with you the entire time (about an hour or if it goes longer, he's not concerned)! The best part is he mixes it up and adds new stuff (exercises/stretches/equipment) every single visit! He is open, thorough and responsive to any questions and concerns. Weiss physical therapy is located in a stunning office building and is always exceptionally clean. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming. John obviously loves what he does as he is often there helping his patients or doing new evaluations during evening hours, when others have already clocked out!

Ann is the best physical therapist ever. Unlike other PT places, this place provides one on one…read moresessions. She focuses on treating the root cause of the pain. She treated lower back problems and sciatica for both me and my mom. She works with the core muscles and sends you home with exercises to strengthen your back. I highly recommend this place for everyone.
