We have been wanting to try Eden Table and finally did. We visited on a Friday night about 6:30 PM…read more We were greeted with smiles and sat promptly. The restaurant offers a comfortable yet semi elegant environment and feel. No need to dress up, but I wouldn't wear your worst. The menu offers kids meals but this is a date night place. Alma was our waitress and provided excellent service! We started with an old school gin martini. Gin, splash of vermouth, an olive and a twist of lemon. The first one was terrible. The bartender added lemon juice to it when we wanted lemon twist. That said, they made it right and it turned out delicious! We ordered the calamari to go along with our drink, but got the calamari early, so we had to eat it while it was hot. Needless to say, it took a while for our drink to come out and then be remade. The calamari was good. I ordered the chicken fried steak and my other half ordered the petit filet. Presentation on the plate was great! The chicken fried steak was good, but very thin. The mashed potatoes and green beans were great. The wedge salad my other half got with his steak was wonderful. The blue cheese was very mild and excellent (and I'm not a blue cheese fan)! The petit filet was cooked perfectly but the risotto was clumpy and mushy. I hate to say this, but the steak was good, but not $50 good. My other half said it was kind of bland. Overall, this is a good little place. We do plan to go back and try other menu items like the seafood tacos or the almond crusted red snapper. We also want to enjoy the live pianist on Thursday nights. Give it a go!

Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The standout was definitely the cheeseburger--without a doubt the best burger in the area. The shrimp tacos were packed with flavor, the blackened tilapia was perfectly seasoned, and the fried shrimp Po' Boy was delicious. The beignets were the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. The service was perfection. Great food, great service, and a place we'll definitely be coming back to! Highly recommend.

There is a drive thru if you are in a hurry. They have a lunch special for $9.50, only thing is it's Mon-Thur and I came on my Friday off. They have a few cocktail concoctions; however, they only serve beer and wine so they're wine based. I looked over the menu which is reasonably priced and decided on the blackened catfish (1 filet) with onion rings and red beans and rice. You can choose 2 sauces so I picked tartar and remoulade. I also added an iced tea. Red beans and rice - very watery, should really have drained off most all the liquid before serving this. Good flavor though with plenty of andouille sausage in it. Onion rings - these are pretty good Catfish - this really hit the spot especially when dipping everything in the remoulade. Overall, I liked this place and will return to try other dishes.

The staff were very friendly when we entered. We didn't have a reservation, but they sat is quickly even though the place was pretty full. I went for one of their Benedict options and son went for good old fashioned spaghetti. I liked mine and he finished all of his. For him, finishing food means it was on point. He is so picky. The restaurant itself is a mix of elegant and casual for brunch. It's also nestled in Hughes Landing meaning there is plenty to do on foot before and after. (For me, that means a visit to Fleet Feet.) Anyway, the brunch was solid.

Unfortunately, the scallops had a noticeable odor and tasted off, which made me feel they were not fresh. I mentioned this to our waitress, and I was surprised that no replacement or alternative was offered. I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary, but some acknowledgment or effort to address the issue would have been appreciated. Aside from the scallops, the rest of the food was okay. The atmosphere was pleasant, and we chose to sit outside, which made for a very enjoyable evening. Note: I would avoid ordering the scallops since they seem to not be fresh.

I had never been to the previous address, but the interior design was so lovely we chose to sit at the new bar. Kady, the bartender (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) was such a doll the whole time waiting us. She kept the chips (touch of louisiana we enjoyed) next to her for refills and made the most twisted hurricane I've had. Definitely walked out clinging to my man lol. We tried the crawfish dip which came with two types of bread, though both went amazing with it. I ordered the lobster ravioli with a side of hush puppies and my old guy ordered the lamb chops, well done, with gumbo (we don't eat pork) and stuffed shrimp. Everything was so damn great tasting. I mean, damned good tasting. My only flaw was the roux could've been a little thinner, but that is absolutely it. Fabulous timeeee and I'm so recommending.
