We have a (new to us) 2020 Tiffin Allegro Bus 45 OPP and have owned it about 18 months. In that time we've driven it about 8,000 miles and usually have some small, but irritating, problem(s). Usually it's a problem with the Lippert/Schwintek slide mechanisms, Spyder Control touchscreen system, and the AC units. We had just returned from Red Bay getting some repairs done and the vendors there are great. We had to have one Schwintek slide replaced and the other repaired and we were warned that because the slide "boxes" weren't "square" from the factory we were going to continue having problems and should consider upgrading to the Vroom slide system. Unfortunately we couldn't hang around for 2+ months in Red Bay for a system to get built and delivered. They recommended Patriots RV in our home state of Texas. We stopped by Patriots to have a few things fixed (leak coming from AC unit, Spyder control having RSI faults, etc). Andrew at Patriots checked our Schwintek system and realized he had a brand new Vroom system from a canceled service by another customer that would fit our Bus. It was installed quickly and correctly and the difference is night and day! My wife no longer cringes every time she extends or retracts the rear slide outs! They work smoothly and quietly as they should. Patriots technicians were able to re-secure and seal the AC units from leaking and fixed the numerous Spyder control faults caused by loose connection. On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems. When I upgraded to a 27' cabin cruiser, I had to upgrade to a GMC Yukon XL (aka suburban). I didn't try it but I think there was a snowball's chance in hell I was going to be able to make that work at my existing storage facility. Enter Secure RV. This place is primarily designed for storing RVs so the rows are nice and wide and the parking spots are too. This makes picking up and dropping off the boat a breeze. This facility has 24-hour access with your own passcode. Rates were about $60 for outside parking, and $120 for covered parking. Parking spots are 10 x 30 or something like that. If you have an RV they have an onsite mechanic and various other services.

He ordered we went on vacation. We were gone a month came back and David said he was on vacation. When he came back he said he was tired from vacation then he was sick. We went to work in Hawaii and tried to get up with him to set up a time to get ac installed. He completely stopped communicating with us. I feel he got the A/C under our Vin# then he can sell to someone else and make money. I even offered to pickup the A/C since we were moving back to Florida and no communication. Please don't use him.. I am investigating other avenues like calling Coleman and the company where he got his certifications. I will also call BBB and file a complaint. He has time to make this right but I am getting impatient.

I can't say enough good things about this business. As a FT RVer you are often stuck in remote…read moreplaces and have to hope that the repair service you contact is legit & knows what they are doing and also don't rip you off at the same time. The part of TX I'm in is pretty remote & difficult to find or order parts in a timely manner. I bought a replacement motor for my levelling system and hired Shawn Hanks to install it for me. He told me right up front that he was reluctant to only replace the motor and not the whole assembly but I told him to go ahead anyway. Long story short, turned out the pump was bad as well so I ordered the whole assembly and he got it working perfectly. On top of that my wipers had just frozen up on my way here and he analyzed it and the wiper motor wasn't producing power. I ordered a wiper motor and he said that hopefully that would solve the problem but it was possible that the switch had burned out as well and we wouldn't know until we replaced the motor. Sure enough the new motor provided power but the switch was not working. Replaced the switch and we're back in business. I cannot recommend Shawn highly enough for his professionalism & knowledge and making multiple trips to get me sorted. If you're ever at the TT in Gordonsville, don't bother checking around for anyone except Knights Mobile RV Repair.
