I can't say enough good things about this business. As a FT RVer you are often stuck in remote places and have to hope that the repair service you contact is legit & knows what they are doing and also don't rip you off at the same time. The part of TX I'm in is pretty remote & difficult to find or order parts in a timely manner. I bought a replacement motor for my levelling system and hired Shawn Hanks to install it for me. He told me right up front that he was reluctant to only replace the motor and not the whole assembly but I told him to go ahead anyway. Long story short, turned out the pump was bad as well so I ordered the whole assembly and he got it working perfectly. On top of that my wipers had just frozen up on my way here and he analyzed it and the wiper motor wasn't producing power. I ordered a wiper motor and he said that hopefully that would solve the problem but it was possible that the switch had burned out as well and we wouldn't know until we replaced the motor. Sure enough the new motor provided power but the switch was not working. Replaced the switch and we're back in business. I cannot recommend Shawn highly enough for his professionalism & knowledge and making multiple trips to get me sorted. If you're ever in Gordonville, TX and need RV repairs. We highly suggest Shawn Hanks. We were having slide issues. We first called another repair guy and told him our problem. He assured us he could fix it. Once he got to our RV he couldn't fix it but charged us $100 service fee for the whole four minutes he was at our RV. We then called Shawn of Knight's Mobile RV. He got our slide out in 10 minutes and got parts ordered to fix it. Parts took awhile but that's Covid related. We had one of our slides stick in the retracted position on our second stop between Yellowstone Montana and North Texas. When we arrived in North Texas we were recommended Knights Mobile RV Service. I tried calling and texting but was unable to get Shawn on the phone the first day we were here. I contacted a couple other technicians, one said he'd come right out to check out our RV. He arrived tried running our slide, took a look and told us we'd need to take our motorhome to a shop to get it fixed. He charged me $100 for a service call and left not being able to do anything for us. The next morning I received a text from Shawn asking what our issue was. I told him about the technician coming out and saying it needed to go to a shop. Shawn said no way and that he'd come take a look. Within 10 minutes of arriving Shawn had our slide opened, and diagnosed. He worked with our extended warranty company and ordered the parts needed. It took some time for parts to arrive from Lippert but that's the world we're living in now days. Once the parts arrived Shawn had them installed in a few hours and our slide back in working order. We needed help and advice with setting up a Jeep to tow behind our class C. We're in our 70/60's and this is our first time towing a vehicle behind an RV. We needed help to get the right tow bar, possible brake system, and back up/monitor camera installed. Left a voicemail and didn't get a call back for almost 2 weeks! Then finally got a call and while talking, the call dropped and no call back! Left another voicemail, and text with pictures of our Jeep for reference. Still NO CALL BACK!
