Probably 2nd or 3rd time I've ever written a review.. I only would write one when it's superior service. If I couldn't give a (5 star) review, I wouldn't waste my time. So much "good" to say about this place. A couple of weeks ago we bought a 2025 Rockwood Signature from them. And we've had nothing but a great experience from start to finish. Salesmen: Nathan & Carson Nathan was probably the kindest (most non-pushy guy) ever.. But yet wanted us to leave in the RV that best fit us and our needs. He really made it easy... Such a good guy.. And the young man, Carson was assisting him, perhaps a new young salesman there, was terrific. Such a great, fresh young face to see in sales. So polite. Rare to see those young men in those positions, so professional and kind. Finance: Kenneth. Couldn't have had a better person. Extremely thorough. Professional. Friendly. Real. Enjoyed it, unlike most (finance meetings) that I've been through with large purchases. Walk Thru: Jillian (( 5 star )) Hook-up / Send off: Shane (( 5 star )) Two people that fit the profile and exceed the standard of professionalism there at Funtown Winstar. It just got better with each employee, each step along the way. After getting the camper home, we had an issue with the "auto leveling system".. It was not leveling, and continued to show a system error message.. I knew it wasn't (operator error) and had to be a system fault. We'd only had the camper 2-3 days when I called them to inform them.. Carson, the young man I referenced earlier, helped me as best he could over the phone, on speaker with another employee... He guided me (over the phone) with possible error reading fixes and helped me reset the zero-level.. But all to no avail. He got the manager to call me back which in turn had someone come right out to me that evening "after hours", at no charge at all. The real 5 Star employee: Todd Pittman!! This guy.. Wow.. He came out that evening! To my location! He found that the leveling system in fact wasn't working properly, nor was it charging properly from the solar charger. He promised to do some homework on the system, make a few calls, and come back to me in the next day or two after work and correct the problem for me. Two days later, he called and asked for permission to work on my RV, and that he thought he'd be able to correct the issues now.. I met him out at our RV storage facility and after a lengthy trial and error, a conversation with the LIPPERT professionals, he was able to fix the leveling system; ((after finding out the sensors were not connected to the correct jacks)) Disconnecting them and reconnecting them correctly, and running all the diagnostic tests.. Setting it up correctly and walking me through each step to ensure that my wife and understood everything.. YES.. These things should've already been caught BEFORE I took it home, and weren't, but these things happen.. No problem.. He stood by the company with professionalism and ensured me he'd make it right. And he did. He properly connected and programmed our solar power option on the RV, enabling it to receive power and distribute accordingly... All this, after hours, at my convenience, at my trailer location, with an extremely friendly/personable yet professional demeanor often not found in his line of work.. Very very pleasant surprise that was not expected. The entire process, from search, to purchase, to finance and walk thru, to extra maintenance right out the gate was superb.. Again, especially Todd. That young salesman Carson, and that maintenence man Todd are exceptional examples and Fun Town Winstar (in my opinion) would be pretty hard to beat. Thanks for the great experience. After quite a bit of online shopping, we were pretty sure what we were most interested in and found a good deal on a new 2022 Wolf Pup 16bhs Black Label. Looking through the Fun Town inventory and locations, we decided the Winstar dealership was the place to put our eyes on a unit even though there were a few dealerships closer to us. Winstar was less than an hour away and we felt like working with someone outside the DFW metroplex would be a more positive experience. Not to put down the other locations because we did not even try. Our intuition was more than spot on! We made an inquiry and immediately, David Allen reached out. David was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and professional. Also, we never felt pressured as you might expect. As we were planning to come see it, we learned that the only 2022 model had just been sold. Bummer? Not by any stretch. David let us know an upgraded 2023 unit was available and made us an offer we couldn't refuse, assuming we liked it when we saw it. This was not a bait. They were willing to find us a 2022 if we wanted. The 2023 upgrades were a definite plus with a tankless water heater and 100w solar panel, etc. Based on the advertised sales prices between the two model years, I don't think we would have bitten but without any haggling, they definitely made it worth it. By the time we got our schedules figured out, we tried to make an appointment for a Sunday through David. We did not realize they weren't open on Sundays...lol. David offered to meet us there anyway to show us the unit and we could work out the rest later. We went to the appointment. Loved the unit and the rest is history. Well not really. We had lots of questions which were answered immediately. We were offered a lot of options as well to make things easy for us including a free night at the Winstar RV campground and some short term storage if needed. He even went to the trouble of looking for an RV storage location that didn't cost an arm and a leg (a difficult task in DFW). Early the following week we got most of the paperwork completed remotely and all that was left was to do a walk-through and sign a few documents, and pick up the RV. The following Saturday we had our walk through with Larry. Larry knew the unit backwards and forwards. He showed us everything we needed to know about it and never rushed the process. He explained way more that we could possibly remember. But, we have no doubt that they help us out if we have any questions. We also had a weight distribution hitch installed. The service guys were careful and informative about how to we manage it. The installation did not really take up a lot of time. The trailer was already prepped before we got there. They just needed our truck to finish the job. The business side was also very pleasant. Gary was on top of everything through the whole process and had us in and out in no time. I drove from Houston to buy my new Fifth Wheel from Fun Town RV at Windstar and don't regret it. I had been inquiring on line at several dealerships and actually the best price I found was in Houston. I spoke to Zach Stovar at Windstar. He texted me a video walk through of the trailer I wanted that introduced himself. I pretty much knew "that's who I wanted to do business with". When I got here Zach and Patrick who is the gentleman that prepped the vehicle did a walk through of the trailer before meeting with finance to do the paperwork. Everything was cleaned and in order. Patrick doubled checked the installation of my new hitch since I am new to fifth wheel. I stayed at the Windstar RV Park next door for a couple nights. When I got there and had a question about the fifth wheel leveling system, Zach came over right away and assisted. He called the next morning to make sure everything was going good and offered to come by if I needed anything. My hats off to the team at Windstar Fun Town. This was one of the best purchasing experiences I have had in my lifetime. Nathan Quigley is a true professional salesperson. He took whatever time was needed to show us our options and answered all of our questions both before and after the sale. This is our 2nd RV purchase so we had a trade-in. Not only is the Winstar location very fair with the trade-in valuation, Nathan made it easy to move-in and move-up without any hassle at all by setting the new rig and old rig up side-by-side for our move. On the delivery side, Shane Bass was meticulous in prepping the fifth wheel for delivery and even helping me and my wife with follow-up questions once setup at the RV park next door. Having the Fun Town RV Park at the Winstar is a huge plus - it allowed us to test everything on our 1st setup with the dealership just next door. Went in just to get some info and see about getting one. Ethan was very helpful and very perfessional in his conduct with us. After being there all day the financial manager told us that we had a conditional approval and that we needed 20% down well for the unit that we picked out which came out to just under 7k... my wife and I didn't have that much on hand to spend.... so we left and just figured we would look I to buying a used one.... about 2 days later Eathan called me back and asked me what he could do because he really wanted our business... told him that the down payment would have to come way down.... This young man worked his tail off and got us approved for 15% down with the help of the financial manager.... I would highly recommend these guys rv needs... Great experience at Fun Town RV. Andrew, our sales rep and Kenny, the finance guy were no pressure, easy going professionals. Jillian did my walk thru and she is a sweet heart. She's still a little bit green, but she's eager to learn and will be great with a little more experience. Probably because this is my fifth travel trailer LOL. Visited with the tech Jason, also quite helpful. Walked me through winterizing so I can do it myself. My only downside to Thackerville is the lack of concrete at the walk-through site. All they have is a gravel surface, not very conducive to clean shoes. However, Jillian made sure that the inside of the coach was wiped down completely. She also caught that only one propane bottle was filled so she took care of that also. Overall a great staff and a fair deal for our new Rockwood fifth wheel read more

We spent months looking at travel trailers for our first time camper purchase. I noticed the great prices that Funtown WinStar offered and was lucky enough to get in contact with David Allen. He is hands down the best salesman I have ever dealt with on any purchase. He was very kind to answer any question I asked, no matter the time of day! And yes, I did text him a few times late at night with random questions. Excellent customer service. We called and asked about the Freedom Express Liberty Edition 324 RLDSLE Travel Trailer by Forest River on their lot. We conversed by phone and text with Adam the sales manager, Gary in finance, and Robert Rubio our salesperson concerning price and details about the camper.They are located in Thackerville Oklahoma, and we live 4 hours away in Texas. We talked to Robert Rubio our salesperson concerning the camper and he sent us a personal video since we lived so far away. The next day we drove up and carried our trade in and they had everything ready to bring the camper home the same day. Can't say enough about the wonderful service we received. I can't say enough positive things about Fun Town RV in Thackerville, OK. From the sales manager Zach, Ken the finance guy, Dave the salesman to the maintenence and repair guys Tod and Shane. I traded in my grand design bumper pull for a Keystone cougar 5th wheel and I never got the sales hustle or finance hustle one normally hates. I was treated with respect and everything they said they backed up with action. I'm retired military and ran a detective agency for 20 years so I've seen it all, all the games and I'm here to tell you this dealer, this business in my estimation is above reproach. Gary at Funtown is spectacular. After our purchase yesterday, Gary gave me his number and said to feel free and call him if I had any questions or concerns. I ran into an electrical issue that I wasn't sure if I set up properly. Long story short I texted him, he called me back and we walked through the issue and diagnosed the problem. Full disclosure, the problem was nothing with the RV and with a breaker from the house. I appreciated having someone who knew what they were doing walk me through the diagnostics. Quick to sell us an RV, however they sold us a screen to go across the back door (approx. $400) but did not order the hardware to actually install the screen. many many follow-up calls for missing parts and just get the run around, nobody knows what is going on at this place. Customer service unless you are actually only want to buy an RV and no parts/service is extremely lacking... shop elsewhere. it is also telling when customers are unable to go up the management chain to get assistance... big red flag. read more
