Great response time, very organized and Jessica is a fantastic cat sitter! Highly recommend!!

We had been taking our dogs to A Dogs Day Out for daycare and boarding, but we really wanted for them to be able to be in our home when we went on vacation for a week. I found Pitter Pat on Yelp, and also noted great reviews from Angies List and pretty much anywhere I could find info, so I gave them a call. Donna came and met the dogs within a few days, and we were very excited that she was able to accommodate watching our dogs for overnights while we were gone. Our trip was within a week and it was great to know that the dogs would be in great hands. We received daily updates and photos of the dogs and they were very well taken care of, not to mention the peace of mind we had knowing that our house was being checked on daily on top of it. We came home to find them very happy and we had zero issues the entire time. The value was great (comparable if not cheaper than boarding) and the service was absolutely top notch. We will most definitely use Pitter Pat again when we need dog sitters. read more

Pitter Pat was a Great service! unfortunately the key word is WAS. when Donna owned the business, it was great, but they she retires and sold the Business. Janik took over and he was really good. he kept most of the staff who worked for Donna, and and those employee where the backbone of the business. unfortunately, Janik sold the business, and things are not as good. the new owner seems to have a hard time keeping staff, I think there are two or three diehard employees who have been there for years, but most of the newer employee do not seem to stay long. it is a shame that what was a great service has been riding off the reputation of Great owners and now it seems to be coasting along. read more

We had issues with our previous pet sitter and was reluctant to try another pet sitter. I then checked out Angie's list and found Pitter Pat, which received an A+ and was highly recommended. My wife and I decided to give Pitter Pat a try. I must admit that when we met Donna the owner and Kelly our sitter we instantly knew that our girls will be in good hands. My wife and I went away for a week and Kelly made sure she kept in touch by sending us email. Kelly is wonderful and we highly recommend Pitter Pat for your pet sitting need. read more

When I needed to hire a Dog Walker I read a lot of reviews to hire the best one for my little dog. I read the reviews of Pitter Pat and they were good. So I decided to contact Donna (the manager of Pitter Pat) and we set up a meeting to discus the how the dog walking service will work and to introduce our selves. Donna assigned Michelle as our dog walker. Michelle WAS HORRIBLE. Thank God I have a nanny-cam and I could see how terrible she was. We hire them to walk my dog for 15 min. But that is not what we received. Michelle used to arrive to our home, take my dog out to pee, and then aggressively pull my little dog back in. All this took around 5 minutes. When we complained about this situation, Donna was very nice and said that Michelle was complaining about the laziness of my dog (which we could see in the nanny-cam was not true). Then Donna changed our dog walker for another lady named Janine, who was a little better, but still was doing a very poor job. She was not being aggressive with my dog, but she was not walking my dog for 15 min as established. Again, I complained about this, and Donna said that the problem was my dog, that I should take him to training classes. Which is not true, because my dog is very well trained. In fact, I have being training dogs as a volunteer at a local shelter. As you can see I HATED this service. Donna is very nice, and she loves pets, but her dog walkers are not nice at all. Luckily, I have a new dog walking service, which I love!! They are loving and they really walk my dog. read more

Pitter Pat is a great business! I had some apprehension about hiring a dog walker, letting someone into our, home, having our dog out and constantly changing schedules but Donna at Pitter Pat and our walker Wendy have been amazing! From the beginning Pitter Pat was very responsive getting back to me under 24 hours from my initial email, having our first meeting within a few days and then start the walk. The whole process took about 3-4 days between my first email and our first mid-day walk. Wendy leaves a notebook with notes to what our dog has been up to so we still feel connected to the experience which I really appreciate. Also, I appreciate the ability to add a second walk or cancel for the day if I'm going to be home without penalty the same day (before the 9am deadline). All in all, I'm extremely comfortable and Pitter Pat has made all my concerns go away with the idea of a dog walking service. We know our dog is healthy and happy in their capable hands! read more

We just had our first pet sitting engagement with Pitter Pat this past week - Janine was amazing with our cat Oliver... and sent us photos every day of him looking happy! Janine came to the house for our initial interview and asked all the RIGHT questions... and offered to water plants or bring in mail - which was so thoughtful. We're new to living in Ashburn - but their service makes us feel like we have trusted neighbors supporting us. Thanks Pitter Pat! read more

I have only been using Pitter Pat for about a week now but that was all it took for me to know these guys are awesome! I have two hyper active puppies that need to be walked during the day. We use Joyce and she is great! I have to admit I was worried at first about letting a stranger into my house and relying on that stranger to be there every scheduled day. When I met Joyce on the introductory day, I was instantly relieved and those worries went away. Not to mention you could immediately tell she was great with dogs and my puppies took an instant liking to her. I am just starting to get my puppies out of the crate and I really rely on Joyce to not only get them out of the house (and take get some of that energy out) but also to put them in their crate for the second half of the day. Joyce has not failed me yet!! She even took all of my overly protective obnoxious text messages ensuring that everything was going okay the first week. Joyce has gone the extra mile and I know I can count on her! Donna has been great to work with too, she answers my emails promptly and makes sure everything is in order. Little Dakota and Rylie love Joyce, Donna and Pitter Pat and I could not be more satisfied with their services. read more

We had Janine watch our cats and guinea pig when we went away. She sent us pictures each day and even did a report card of what she had done for our animals. read more

We have used Pitter-Pat in the past for catsitting and were pleased with the service we received. When the business was sold to new owners, I was a little concerned about what may change. But I recently reached out for service again for a week of catsitting. The owners were polite and friendly via email, and our sitter (Susan) did a wonderful job with our 3 cats. She was also very courteous and friendly and texted us an update with pictures every day, making sure we were at ease. We were very pleased once again with Pitter-Pat Pet Care, and would certainly recommend them based on our experience. read more

I have used Pitter Pat multiple times to watch my cat and every time I return home she is happy and her supplies are neat. I usually receive a note from the pet sitter as well about how each visit went. My favorite part is that they send me a picture of my cat every day that I am away. I recommend this service! read more

Great experience so far! My dog walker Susan is always reliable and leaves notes letting me know how my doggie did in her daily walk. I also appreciate that my home alarm system is always reset properly and the door locked when I arrive home. Makes me feel safe knowing Pitter Pat is responsible with both my pet and my home. My neighbor also recently told me that she saw my dog out with her new walker the other day and my dog looked like she was having a great time! read more

Donna did an amazing job taking care of my crew including two dogs, and four cats, one of which is diabetic. She did overnights and midday walks for the better part of a week- twice daily photo/email updates, instructions followed carefully, gave insulin to my old girl-it was completely low stress for us knowing that she was there. Much better than other local pet sitters! read more

Pitter Pat is our go-to cat sitter, and we depend heavily on Donna to take care of our very nervous cat whenever we are away. What I love about Donna is that she is totally reliable, she responds quickly to e-mail and text messages (prior to and during the pet sitting) and she is extremely professional! On the rare occasions when I had a package delivered unexpectedly or needed some small thing checked on in the house, Donna was always happy to handle it for me on her next visit. I would recommend Donna without hesitation to anyone in the area needing short or weeks-long pet sitting. I think the value she offers is fantastic and I trust her completely. read more

Pitter Pat has been taking care of my cats for a couple years now, and I always have complete peace of mind that they are receiving great care. Our pet sitter is reliable, responsive, and she clearly pays careful attention to their food and litterbox habits to ensure that they are doing well. I always look forward to receiving the check-in text with pictures of my cats. Recently, we had a trip that was unexpectedly extended when we were stranded because of a hurricane. I was able to reach out to Pitter Pat, and they were responsive and flexible and were able to ensure that my cats continued to be taken care of even as plans seemed to change on a daily basis. I have nothing but the highest regard for Pitter Pat, and I would definately recommend them to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter. read more

When we were considering adding a puppy to our busy home in Leesburg, I knew we'd need a dog walker during the day to help. I traded email with Donna, the owner, and Michelle came over the day after we brought our puppy home. Michelle has been dependable and reliable taking care of Charlie, and leaves us daily notes in a little notebook they provide for that purpose. Their cancellation policy is very flexible--we all know that life with kids means changing plans sometimes, so we were able to text before a certain time in the morning if we needed to cancel the walk that day. Prices are reasonable, and we never came home to an unlocked house or had any other concerns. Great experience all around. read more

After just moving to the area, I tried to start a new relationship with Pitter Pat by trying out their services for one day of cat sitting during the holidays and was told that one day wasn't worth their time. While I understand that the holidays is a busy time, this is certainly not a friendly way to start a new client relationship at all. Luckily another company in Ashburn did find my business valuable and I will be using them for my future needs. read more

I can't say enough about this business and the owner! Love them - my pets love them - reliable - trust worthy - safe - caring - loving....I could go on and on..... I have had pet sitters for 15 years and I've never had NEVER had the relationship that I have with this company. Professionally they stay in touch, are bendable when they need to be out of compassion, come last minute when they can - 'beyond the call of duty' should be their names! They are on time, honest and really care about not just the pet, but the pet owners - I feel like I just got new family with this group. They leave notes with each walk. They leave notes (for the owners) when they know things are going a little rough at work - just beyond every expectation and in over a year of daily walks, I've never been anything but OVER THE TOP happy. The dogs love them. I work at home once in a while and am able to "secret shop" the situation and they are everything they would be if you were standing there watching them -- when they think you are not. I have to also add in that if the owner has done a wonderful job selecting and training the people she has working for her; not one complaint in almost 365 days! There are many dog places around but NOT ONE THAT WILL GIVE THE LOVE that this place gives both the owner and the pet - they truly care! read more
