When I pack up his food he knows he's going and waits by the door until we leave. When we arrive he races out of the car and inside. Dogs know a good thing. Secondly - this Dogtopia is spotless. I've been to a number of other doggy daycares and they all - well - smell. This place always seems like it just got a scrub down even after a long day when I pick up my dog. Thirdly - the staff is awesome. Always happy. Super friendly and they know your dog and are attentive to him. I've never once had any issues with other dogs or any problems. The staff in the playrooms are always on top of any drama that might happen. If your dog has any special needs they handle it as well as you would. They are totally trustworthy. After spending three nights at an emergency vet, with countless tests and mounting bills, Brown was only getting worse. I truly thought I was going to lose him. Desperate and scared, I reached out to my breeder, Sean Donovan (Friendly Kittens) who urged me to see Dr. Campbell at Blue Ridge. From the moment we walked in, I felt hope for the first time. Dr. Campbell didn't just treat Brown -- she saw him. She understood the urgency and handled everything with such care, focus, and professionalism. She didn't sugar coat things which I appreciated. Within 24 hours of her treatment, Brown started eating again. He got up and walked around. After days of watching him fade, seeing those small signs of life brought me to tears. He wasn't out of the woods yet, but it was the first real sign that he was coming back to me. Dr. Campbell didn't just heal my cat -- she gave me back a piece of my heart. I'll never forget what she did for us. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

She was violently grabbing a small, white dog by his hind leg while grooming him, and yanking him back towards her. She did it 3 times! He kept trying to get away from her (for obvious reasons!!), and she kept yanking him back with force. I will never return here because of what I witnessed. I pray Amy did not treat my dog this way, but what I saw seemed borderline abusive. There was no one to tell there, and I didn't feel comfortable or safe reporting her in person. Given her anger about this tiny dog, I didn't want to confront her. I'm sure grooming is not an easy job, but it's never OK to be so mean to a dog. Update: I've made 5 attempts to reach the owner over the last few weeks. She has not responded. Update: 7 months later. The owner finally responded with excuses about a failed email system and defended the behavior of the groomer. Please avoid this business. The mistreatment of that little dog is unacceptable, and blamed the DOG in a private message to me. The number of positive reviews is confusing to me (considering how she runs her business).
