The fish dinner was at least 50% of batter and much less fish. The batter was very dark and too hard to chew. Seemed burnt to me. The fries were also very dark but, most that I tried were not completely cooked, I.e. raw potato. The Buffalo chicken sandwich was for sure a frozen patty instead of a "real" or fresh piece of chicken. This trip to Carson's was a great disappointment for dinner. So again, I have to ask, what has happened to Carson's? To me this is a sign that owners/management have taken a road to cheapness of product.

If you are a meat eater, about every breakfast meat you can imagine they had, even something called scrapple, which is a regional thing I guess. There was an omelette station too. There was a dessert bar also. My husband -who has a sweet tooth- got a blueberry pie type dessert and could barely eat it because it was too sweet. As a diabetic it was good to see they had sugar free syrup and one sugar free dessert. On the buffet I could only have the eggs, mushrooms and a few house breakfast potatoes- which were quite good. We got there a little after 8:30 a.m. and it wasn't super busy. There was no waiting in line. When we left 45 minutes later, there was a huge line. Overall happy we tried it out.
