Food was not made right. My burger was undercooked . The order for my wife was wrong and the truck driver talking lady seated behind us was shouting f bombs for all to hear. Very dive bar experience. Price was ok

Pitney, poppers, long way over the last five years, such a wide variety of diverse foods. Italian, Spanish, Indian, steak, seafood... You can't go wrong with stopping in. Staff is great, friendly and helpful! Great music plays on the jukebox and the bar atmosphere is fun! Happy hour wings @$6 were delish!

The pitney is one of those restaurants that never fails to serve their customers exactly what they want. They have flexible hours, a HUGE menu, and their wait staff is both professional and welcoming, especially around holidays. My boyfriend and I frequent here, for the location and its proximity to our university. I love their pot pie and appetizers, their drinks are great too. They have an upscale diner vibe, with modern colors, art and music. They double as a bar, and host events every week. Definitely a win in my book

So I have been ordering from this place for quite some time. I can say I am happy with anything that I order because their food is great. I think one time we got a pizza undercooked but they were happy to correct it. Just ate here, the taco salad is so good! Puts Taco El Tio to shame as they do not even know what a taco salad is. I would like to ask kindly that people not smoke pot or cigarettes by the door as you're walking in. Yea, ok pot is legal now but please still have respect for one another, these are my lungs, not yours. Thank you!

So being from this area I've never really went into the Pitney pub. I've always drove by but never actually stopped in but I'm so glad I did. Due to Covid there are extra precaution when it comes to eating out. This place has a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. So glad they have outdoor seating with Covid going on. For a warmer November day, it was nice and spaced out. We came on an early Saturday so it was empty. We got seated right away. Soooo! They have bucket drinks! Who doesn't love a good bucket drinks. It was fantastic. I ordered the crap cake and my friend ordered the bacon wrapped scallops. Also we Split the fried calamari. All the food was good and it was very fast service. This is definitely a place I would love to try out again.

The worst experience I've had in a long time. I ordered 2 items online for 1:30pm. I got there at 1:40pm and it was not ready. Over the course of 10 mins they asked me 3 separate times what I ordered. They obviously started making the food after the 3rd time but STILL GOT IT WRONG! I was given a rushed calzone which was unfilled and doughy. The Pitney Pot Pie (brisket) I ordered and told them about 3 times came out as some pasta dish with chunks of chicken in a garlic cream sauce and a side of steamed rice! WHICH IS NOT EVEN ON THEIR MENU! WTH? It is obvious the kitchen was paying no attention to the online orders. Pitney Pub owes me a full refund but I am quite sure they have no intention of forking it over. I will edit my review if they do the right thing. And why is the marinara served in a Dickies Barbeque Cup? You can't make this stuff up!

Not the same the original Pitney. It's not a pub, it's a diner. Food is okay. Probably a good place for music.

The food came out in a timely manner and everything was great. It was Monday and they had specials that day for Mexican food. I like how they rotate the specials, depending upon what day of the week it is. If you're in Smithville, definitely stop here for food. It's worth it and it's a great experience. Be sure to look out for what entertainment they're having that day you're going there. That way you'll get the full experience. We'll definitely be back.

It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the sunshine while eating outside. Our server Bella was delightful and suggested the Downeast Cider draft. I'm not a big cider fan, but this was light and refreshing. Hubby got a Carlsburg Pilsner, but they have a very extensive bar to accommodate all whims. Ordered the 6 wings with the Cajun dry rub. I ordered the cheesesteak eggrolls which came with an excellent cheese sauce and scallions. The smashburger tacos were cooked to perfection. Just a little pink on the meat and the lettuce, tomato and fixings were just the right amount to balance the tacos. I highly recommend!

Everybody else had the same idea as we did (it was PACKED for Labor Day Weekend!) but we still managed to grab a high top in the sun as most of the patrons were at the outdoor bar near the band or at the indoor bar. To no fault of their own, it was a little difficult to put in food/drink orders but the bartenders and servers were working incredibly hard and non-stop. We had an array of different drinks including Rum Runners, Tequila Sunrises, Rum & Cokes, and draft beers (pretty good craft options on tap if I must say - we had Dogfish Head 60 min IPA and Dogfish Head Grateful Dead). My mom and fiancé really liked their Rum Runners and I loved my Tequila Sunrise. We eventually put food in as well, just a bunch of appetizers to split which we love to do. We had Garlic Parm Tails (sauce was good!), Nachos, and Drunken Clams. The Middlenecks were cooked well and served in a white wine butter sauce. The food is pretty much what you'd expect from a dive-esque bar. Even with the hour long drive we had both ways, the location being right on the water and the vibes offer plenty of reason to keep coming back.
