And, as a bonus, they are genuinely nice folks to work with. They correctly identified that my roof had been damaged by hail roughly 11 months ago, and the USAA adjuster readily agreed. Replacing the roof was accomplished in a manner I did not think possible in any line of business: they CONSISTENTLY did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and in a manner that exceeded what I expected. After seeing how they work, how they stay in touch, how they show up, and how they are committed to doing things well and fairly, I can 100% recommend them. In fact, I wish I could award more stars because they deserved them. I particularly want to thank Drane, Ryan, and Bertin for their exceptional commitment to excellence and teamwork. Well done!!!

They were extremely responsive, showed up quickly, and were easy to communicate with throughout the process. The crew was professional, personable, and made me feel comfortable from the start. In my experience that's not always something you get with contractors. What really stood out was their willingness to go above and beyond to help resolve the situation. It's clear they care about their customers and take pride in their work. If you're looking for a reliable roofing and gutter company that you can trust to show up, communicate well, and do right by you, I'd absolutely recommend them. I'd work with them again without hesitation.

I needed gutter guards because birds were getting too comfortable with my house. I asked one…read morecompany for a quote and Yelp sent the project to multiple parties... I'll get the bad parts out of the way. Techs arrived an hour late. I operate on a schedule because I value my time. This shouldn't have happened. Be on time for all things professional. When they arrived, I didn't know. Apparently there was a text on my phone at 9:05am, but as I said, I operate on a schedule, so I was busy and didn't see my phone. I knew they were there from hearing a ladder hit the top of my house. Again...professionalism. Ring the doorbell or call. Don't just start work. There are ways of doing this... Turns out, once the job got started, Fred noticed that my gutters were installed with similar laissez-faire, so he was good enough to fix those issues while he was up there. That above and beyond was wholly appreciated, so they get an extra star. The tardiness absolutely would've lost that star, normally. Fred seemed like a decent, easy-going guy, and a pleasure to deal with. He was the first to contact me when Yelp told everybody about my project. Days later, a different company just called me about the job, so I like Fred's not wasting time on this (aside from being late.) However, I like bidding wars for my attention, so I told him I'd wait for other responses. He knocked off a hundred bucks to get me to reconsider. As a card carrying Liberal, I also like wars to end quickly. The job was well done. I mean, it's probably hard to do it badly unless you're really trying. Before the work, he came by the house and I picked out which guards to use. It cost me a thousand dollars for 2.5 stories, 4 "bedrooms." It's a big house. I expected that price. He worked from 9am to 12pm and during that time removed a nest. I don't do lateness and I'll never let it slide, so I mentioned it here without taking away stars. All in all, good work. A.

A couple estimates later we decided to go with Roofwerks and were totally pleased with our experience and their workmanship. We especially liked that Jason gave us three different options. Discount for paying cash was also appreciated. Definitely recommend!

I called Roofwerks several months ago for two things:…read more [#1] I had a specific leak in my roof that turned out to be coming in through a broken spot under an attic window. [#2] I wanted to get a quote for re-painting my metal roof with a sealant. I paid that invoice, and called again several weeks ago for two more things: [#3] We had a leak in a corner under our roofline where two gutterlines meet. The insurance appraiser suspected it was due to a gap under the roofline that rain was blowing through during hard wind. I was hoping they would install some sort of flashing or protection over that gap, which would probably require gutter removal to reach. [#2 again] Since I hadn't received an estimate after the first job, I followed up about that. The people who came out (5/25/2022) did not fix the gap under the gutter corner, though I don't know why: it has since been fixed by another provider. Instead, they applied a single stripe of sealant down a roof line where there was no evidence of leakage. They also said they would provide an estimate for tightening screws and re-painting the roof for maintenance. This already felt like redundant work, since that's what they had supposedly done the first time, so I really didn't expect the expensive invoice that followed: $840+tax. I responded asking for clarification of the charges. (They quoted $168 per hour, and two men were there for 1.5 hours. That puts the paint used at $336.) I didn't hear back, so I follow up two days later, to which I received a reply that she was working on it. Two more weeks later, I followed up again, and was promised a prompt response. On Tuesday June 21, I got an email that the invoice had been dropped to $625+tax... still a flat price with no breakdown of hours and materials. Again, I asked for clarification of the costs, but at this point also decided to write this complaint. I ALSO PAID THE INVOICE. (I clarify this because I'm not doing this to justify stiffing them. I can afford $678, but I can't afford to spend any more time or patience waiting for an explanation or follow-through. My time is better spent making a BBB complaint and sharing my experience here.) So, to summarize: - They charged for duplicate work, since they were supposed to have provided an estimate after coming to address the first leak but never did. - They painted a single stripe down the seam of those roof lines and then tried to charge $336 (later $121) for the paint. - There was no evidence of leakage there. The actual leak was later repaired by another provider in the original spot that I pointed out but that they didn't repair. - It took two of their people 1.5 hours to look around the roof of a 1020sqft house (again, for what, I don't know, since they had already been out to estimate this before) and paint a white stripe that didn't need to be painted. - They still haven't provided an estimate that I think I've paid for twice now.
