I recently purchased my first home and needed to take care of some minor roof concerns that came up in the inspection report. I spoke with Noah Chapman who connected me to one of his guys, David Gupton, to come out and evaluate the report and fix what he found. Within two hours of speaking with David, he was out on the roof evaluating and fixing. Not only did he knock out the two concerns found in the report, but he came across a few other minor things that needed to be taken care of and did them on the spot. He took detailed pictures for records and walked me around explaining everything he found and what he did. Chapman's Construction will be the only general contractor I ever use and I ever recommend again. When I tell you these guys are the best, I truly mean it. 5 Repaired Stars out of 5!

We were introduced to Trevor from Chapman Construction and the way he handled himself was not only professional but extremely caring in such a delicate situation. Chosing Chapman Construction was the best decision we ever made and we would recommend them to anyone doing a project from a roof to a complete build. Trevor and Clayton, along with all the workers were so amazing throughout this whole process. Everyone listened to our wants/needs and made it happen. Professionalism, work ethic and craftsmanship were top priority and after a long road these people are more like family to us now. We will forever be grateful to Chapman Construction for giving us our home back, bigger and better than it was originally.

I told him we had been waiting 2 months for Lowes to get it together and we are looking around for quotes. He said he is booked 5-6 weeks out minimum and I said ok I still want to get a quote from you we are looking at quotes and we might even look into home depot. We are having to shop around a little because of the Lowes situation. He said I would get the same service at home depot I did with lowes and told me go ahead and get my other estimates then. I told him I still wanted to do the free estimate through him because we are not sure who we are going through right now and he said well he is 5-6 weeks out and could not get us in especially if we are not going to choose him. If you offer free estimates on your site- you should probably not refuse to give the free estimate just because you are unsure if it will be accepted. I am a POTENTIAL client. It does not look good that you will not even come out to give the service you say you offer on the website just because I am looking at a different store. If you would have done the estimate I would have been HAPPY to wait to get the door installed by a professional installer as I have already had to wait 2 months. Thanks for making sure I do not ever become your client.

Naturally we contacted our nameless insurance company who sent out an estimator to survey the loss. Soon we got a check for a whopping $1,017! (Don't spend it all in one place!) We reviewed BBB, Angie's List and talked with a number of friends and neighbors. Eastern Home Repair's name kept coming up. We called, and Chris Web, the Owner/Manager came out and personally reviewed our damage. He was really confident his company was the right one for the job. Chris' personally delivered estimate was almost $7,000. I showed him the $1,017 check from the insurance company and he said "Russ, I cannot even buy the needed materials for that money. Don't worry about the insurance company, I'll handle it." End of Part One. Part Two. The insurance company wrote another check; the two checks added up exactly to Chris' $7,000 bid!! As for the work, his crew was professional, on time, knowledgeable, friendly and overall hard workers; they represented Eastern Home Repairs well! Great work, complete cleanup, outgoing crew went the extra mile and even replaced our rose bush singed by the fire! Chris, presented me with the final bill, which was almost $200 below his initial estimate; how often does that happen? Because of the professional work accomplished, I gave Chris the $200 to do as he saw fit in tipping his crew. How often does that happen? If you are looking for that right home repair company stop at the "E's" and pick Eastern Home Repair; you'll be glad you did. If there is a means of contact through this review, I would be happy to speak with anyone about this quality organization that takes over and favorably goes beyond expectations.

Very frustrating experience and waste of time to say the least. We had one concern , just one…read moremind you, and that was regarding how they were using an aggressive round sander on our home wood siding which is over 100 yrs old and has a dutch lap boards type siding and did not want the boards sanded to the point it changed the shape of the board itself. Only after a few days of hand scraping his painter quit and they then proceeded to cancel all of our projects on the contract as the office manager informed us the owner didn't think he could satisfy us, so all the work and the contract was cancelled. So basically it sounded like the owner doesn't respond well to customer concerns, it's either his way or the highway which is unusual for a business as most business I have worked with don't just bail after one concern by the customer is voiced. Just left the house half scraped and looking terrible. I also left 2 VM's and a text requesting the owner to call me back. He never bothered to return my calls or respond to my texts and let his office assistant / mgr give us the news he was cancelling everything. When I hire a man to do work for me I would expect him to do the right thing and at least return my calls and texts especially if he has just decided to bail and not do the work, and not shove that off for someone else to do. However They are refunding 100% of our initial deposit, which is the absolute right thing to do, so they get one star for that alone. Outside of that they would get no stars considering how they conducted themselves. The experience was pretty much a waste of time as the only thing I have now is a bunch of exposed wood on the sides of the house which looks horrible, a ton of paint chips on the ground that I've had to clean up myself once they informed us the painter was not coming back. We did have another painter come to the house and will be doing the job correctly using a flat sander for these type boards and said that was no problem at all and he would never use a round aggressive sander on dutch lap type wood siding. I guess this company has enough work that they conduct business this way and just walk away from a job in progress , leave your home looking terrible and leaving a mess for the customer to clean up. Being as the owner conducts himself this way I consider it good riddance that we are no longer working with this company.

Next they repaired a floor damaged by termites and recommended a wonderful bug man. Then I had them repair a floor in my laundry room, remove an exterior door and an old coal chute. This really made that section of the laundry room useable. My house was built in 1887, many contractors don't want to work on something that old as new construction is easier. Every person that Blair Maintenance has sent has been top notch, I have no complaints. In fact, I just had them rebuild my front porch columns and they are installing 6" gutters. Now I can't wait for it to rain, the gutters look fantastic . They really are a step up from the 5". I'm sure they are going to help keep water away from my foundation. Don't hesitate to call them, they won't let you down and their pricing is very fair and reasonable.

At first, we assumed it was a roof leak, but after a thorough inspection, they discovered the real issue was a corroded water pipe upstairs. The team was professional, responsive, and transparent throughout the entire process. They cut into the upstairs wall to locate the leak, removed the damaged pipes, and installed new PEX water lines with high-pressure fittings. Two separate leaks were repaired. They also cut out and replaced the damaged ceiling and walls downstairs, furred out areas to create a flush finish over the old plaster, and reinforced damaged studs and floor joists. All drywall work was completed with finishing and painting included. They even took care of debris removal and sealed a minor leak on the roof for good measure. The entire project came to $8,280. Given the scope and quality of the work, I felt the pricing was fair and well worth it. Premier House Care made a stressful situation much easier to deal with, and the end result was top-quality. I highly recommend them for any plumbing, structural, or general repair needs.
