Only thing you will want to order here are the teriyaki plates or the teriyaki burger. It's not actually a hamburger patty, but flank steak chopped up and marinated in their own teriyaki sauce. I guess it's more of teri sandwich but everyone calls them burgers. I order my burger with double meat but it still seems no bigger than a single so I save my money and stick with the single. With the name like Pitburger I was expecting a good smoke flavored beef or something with character. What I got is an ordinary stuff with thin cuts of beef (Thin is ok, no flavor is not). It was just ok, after half way through I lost interest. It's got character alright, but it's not for me. I thought I was wasting my jaw movement (got tired of chewing) and started to prepare an instant noodle to put the meat on top. It's not bad for the price but the portion is not heaping so where's the allure? I'm sorry I can't find a reason to go back to this place. The service can be slow, sometimes very slow. I must have stood outside for 15 minutes one time, pretending I enjoy watching traffic (Hey, a Camry of all ages go by about every 5 cars here. Can I talk about this with someone? NO). The waiting time alone is enough to discourage you (If they warned me before ordering it's cool, I can make a decision based on it but no warming came, I was left out to dry. I have no idea what they do with their toasted buns, but it tastes so good!! Salad is a pretty good addition to the plate topped with thousand island dressing and sliced pickles. You're better off calling in your order like ten minutes beforehand unless you don't mind waiting outside with the crowd. They also do not accept cards, just cash only. No drive through. This is my first time here and most definitely my last. I came here on my way home from the beach and it is located in a city that I usually don't go through. I noticed that they are conveniently located on the corner of the street with plenty of private parking. My family and I ordered chili cheese fries that were small and reminded me of Weiner schnitzel chili cheese fries which isn't a bad thing but it is very forgettable. Then I ordered a hotdog with Teriyaki sauce on it and it was okay but also just average for my 13 year old but he liked the sweet and salty mix, but it wasn't on the menu it was custom. My youngest went with the teriyaki burger that had no hamburger it was just on a hamburger bun with teriyaki beef inside. I was bummed because we split it and it lacked in flavor and toppings. That sandwich needed so much but it disappointed me because of the small amount of meat didn't hold up to the bun. Then my wife ordered the small teriyaki plate which was lame with just rice and meat in a small container with no hot sauce option that it was crying for. Lastly I got a double cheese burger that actually was pretty good with a good charbroiled flavor on the meat but the patties were small and it was not very memorable. So the restaurant was a bust because I could have gone to an L&L or other Hawaiian BBQ spot and got the same menu with larger portions and better flavor.
