My previous piercing last year went smoothly, and I was very happy with the service. This review is specifically about my recent interaction with the owner. I arrived at 1:36 for my 1:30 appointment after calling ahead and being told that arriving at 1:35 would be acceptable. The website also states that clients may be up to 10 minutes late. Despite this, I was denied service and informed that my deposit would be forfeited. When I tried to clarify the discrepancy between what I was told on the phone, what is written on the website, and what was happening in practice, the owner responded by raising his voice, calling me names, and repeatedly telling me to leave in front of staff and other clients. The interaction felt extremely disrespectful and unexpected from a business owner. My intention in sharing this is to describe my personal experience so others--especially those looking for a safe, respectful environment--are aware. You walk in and the chick at the counter is just giving off a, I hate my job vibe. Mike is condescending and rude as hell! The people there really come off like they're better than everybody just because they work at a tattoo shop. And I never can understand people that have that sort of attitude just because they work in the industry. Their jewellery is china quality. My stone fell out under a week. Had 3 separate piercings done by 2 different people. First was my tongue done by Mike which was pierced on such an angle standard barbells would not fit at once healed. Second was my belly button which rejected as Mike did it as a surface piercing, regardless of the fact that I have perfect anatomy for it. Third was my cartilage done by autumn and do the cheap metal started rejecting it is now on a 45° angle through my ear. All three times went back to have the jewellery changed and Mike was very hesitant about changing it without a doctors note. Stating it was cleaning issues and not metal allergies. Paying $30 for a minimum $100 piercing, you really get what you pay for!!!! read more

Avoid this place at all cost. Between myself and a friend of mine, we've had 6 piercings done here plus have visited at least 10 times to buy jewelry. We are both fairly tattooed and pierced. The staff here really do think they're better than you and that you know absolutely jack s***. I recommend passing this place up and taking your business to a reputable place like atomic zombie. Atomic zombie may be more $, but you get what you pay for. Pitbull jewelry is bad quality, the customer service is abysmal; my friend had her septum pierced crooked and then it swelled it like crazy. We went back to have the piercer tell her it was normal and healing. He left the rind in and said to leave it in... but nope. Pain was too much and she went to her doctor who needed to drain it and remove the piercing otherwise an infection would have occurred. read more

To start with, the entrance is actually kind of hidden so you've just got to look out for the sign above the door. Unfortunately, there seems to be no wheelchair accessible entrance, just a fairly long staircase to walk up to the shop. If you have other mobility issues, the place would be difficult to access. The accessibility is this places one flaw. :') The front reception can seem a little over-with-it at times, but honestly that's probably because they have to answer (sorry) kind of stupid and sometimes invasive questions a relatively fair amount. Not that they're judgemental, if you seem to not know proper terminology or are new to body modification they're chill. By stupid questions I mean like, things that you should bare minimum most definitely research before even considering a piercing. Not to be rude myself lol. But even then, they'll still stick with it and answer every question you ask them, it's not like they're dicks or anything. The waiting room can be a bit intimidating just because it's actually so huge. I always book appointments through their Instagram DMs. I don't know who runs the Instagram, but I always have pleasant interactions through it. It's super convenient too, I'm glad you can book via Instagram. I've had 3 piercings done here; septum, labret, and eyebrow. Before getting your piercing, you sign a little waiver. All equipment and jewelry is sterile. I've never actually asked what type of metal the jewelry is, (I should have lol) but from what I remember, the waiver states it's high quality. All 3 of my piercings were done by Mike, and he was super nice! I got my septum pierced with a buddy, and they were super excited to see Mike again. He's got super cool tattoos and piercings too. He's considerate and professional. Cleans up your nasty blood, and makes sure you don't sit/stand up before you're ready. He always marks the locations with pen and lets you know that you can re-position as many times as you want before piercing, and he's totally chill with it. He'll answer any questions you have without judgement, and let you know a few of the most important things with each piercing. For example, that oral piercings can cause gum erosion and that eyebrow piercings can reject/get caught on things quite easily. He'll always share some personal anecdotes if he can too. They give you a packet of sea salt, explain the aftercare, and give you a little pamphlet with helpful information for aftercare. They always let you know that you can come back if your initial jewelry needs to be upsized, and they do it for free! They'll also let you know when you should come back for downsizing. I've never been pierced by Autumn but, when I got my labret it turned out to be just a tad too short (due to my own swelling, not the piercers fault) so I went back the next day to see if it needed to be upsized. Autumn did my consultation, upsized no problem, super considerate. I've never had any experience with other piercers there, I think another one is Bailey, but tbh I'm not sure who the other piercers are but I'm sure they're great too! I've never had any tattoos done there either so I can't comment on that. If you pass out during your piercing, they give you a free pop from the vending machine haha. My septum was perfectly pierced, it's 3 months old and I've had absolutely no issues thus far. For aftercare, I followed my piercer recommendations and soaked twice a day, 8 minutes total. Everyone on Reddit will recommend against any sort of aftercare besides spraying with sterile saline twice a day. But. I am so glad I soaked my piercing, it felt so good. I swear, if I had only sprayed, it would not have healed so well. My eyebrow and labret are only like 5 days old so I can't really comment on the healing much thus far, but for those I have decided to mainly spray instead of soak. If there are any issues with either piercing, I'll go back to them for consultations again. Like if my labret is too low after switching to a snug ring, or if my eyebrow appears to be rejecting. I see some negative reviews for this place that are just straight up silly and I have to call it out. Just because you got a keloid after 2 years, or because you didn't go get your jewelry upsized when it was swelling over, or because you have a metal allergy does not mean it was the piercers fault. There are some negative reviews that are indeed just incredibly unfortunate, but a lot of them are bogus. Every single person I know who has any piercing has got them done at Pitbull, and they all rave about this place. If you come here, and you decide the vibe isn't for you, that's totally cool. But it's far from a shitty place, and, again, literally every one I know that's been a patron here has been more than satisfied. The people here are the best part of Pitbull. Overall, the price is most certainly affordable, and the piercers are super dope. I'll be going back for every other piercing I have in mind. read more

Please don't come here! I know that they have the two for one deal for piercings but please, go to a higher quality shop for piercings. I have no tattoos and therefore can't comment on their tattoo work, however I got two piercings here a while ago. My first one being an industrial piercing and second being a snug piercing, which I got because of the 2 for 1. The piercer was fine, it was a girl and she was nice, it didn't hurt that much and it was quick. That's pretty much it. That was about 2 years ago. Currently I have this gross keloid on my industrial piercing which is this bump that I can't remove with just tea tree oil, and my snug developed a disgusting puss filled bump on the back of my ear that turned into an ugly scar. Their jewelry is extremely cheap and will cause these things to occur, not only that but the beads fall off CONSTANTLY and you're better off buying high quality jewelry that will not fall off. I've gotten piercings from atomic zombie and dragon fx and have never experienced any of these things, my piercings healed perfectly fine and the jewelry is still intact. Also, to be clear I washed my piercings twice a damn day and I still got bumps. PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE WITH REPUTABLE PIERCERS AND JEWELRY!!! read more

I came to this very fine establishment on a very hot and sunny Saturday afternoon with a group of my acquaintances, including my very good friend Aidan K (you may recognize him from his various powerful reviews of fine establishments across Edmonton). We arrived with the intentions of getting what some may consider an outrageous piercing on our chests. Much to our surprise we found out that the piercings were buy one, get one free! We both were brought so much joy. We scampered in along with our group of 8 other close comrades. The hike up the stairs was a long gruelling journey, I needed a nice breather after arriving at the top. After catching my breath, I began to browse at all of the jewelry that was on display. I saw a number of items that looked to be a great addition to my body. As I prepared to go up to the till, I started to second guess my decision. I didn't know if I was ready for a piece of metal to be put through my nipple. 20 minutes elapsed before I made the very educated decision that this was a fantastic idea to get the piercing done. I went and stood in the lineup (that was insanely long might I add). As I made my way to the front, I noticed the sign that said they only accepted cash, bummer... Luckily I looked into my nice wallet that doubles as a phone case and I had enough cash to pay for the piercing! I told the nice looking gentleman that I would like to pierce my nipple. He was very nice about it and handed me a form to read and fill out for legal purposes. I read through it and signed my information. The wait was going to be a little bit as there were about 10 people in front of Aidan K and I. The wait really got to me as I started to get really nervous. My resting heart rate was 130! Crazy right?! I had to calm myself down so I sat down in one of the very nice leather couches in the waiting area. After an hour long wait, a lady came out and called for Aidan and Dylan, that's us! We got up and walked in, the lady was very nice so it made us a lot more comfortable. We got into the first booth on the right and our piercer explained how everything would go. Aidan was going to go first so she marked up the measurements on his chest. His nipple was measured at 3/8. He then laid down and they got started. He said he was ready and she went right into it. It went very well for him we both started to laugh hysterically as we realized how outrageous this was. Now it was my turn to go, she took my measurements. Turns out that my nipple was a bit smaller, it was measured at 5/16. I got my marks done and laid down. I said i was ready and in she went with her powerful needle. It was a very sharp pain that lasted for half of a second. next thing i knew, I had a nipple piercing! I sat back up and the lady explained how we would clean our piercings. She gave us a bag of sea salt as well as a piece of paper explaining an array of different things. I could not get over how splendid the service was at this powerful establishment. If I ever become really drunk again and feel the need to get another piercing, i shall return to this venue to get another fantastic and maybe outrageous piercing. I wouldn't come here unless it was buy one get one free (works out to about $30 cash a piercing). Some of the staff are incredibly rude, but I guess I lucked out! So I've been in a few times: 1) first off, it's worth mentioning that each time I'm in, it's the same girl at the front and she's always very rude :( 2) for my tragus pierced a year ago by Mike. I have no problems, no infection, I love it. He was very professional and put me at ease quickly. I didn't feel rushed through the process at all, which is great as a b1g1 customer. 3) then the ball on the ring fell off within a week! I messaged Pitbull on Facebook about it (they have a prompt and active online presence, which is great) and they offered to replace it for free. Sweet! 4) close to 7 months later, it fell off again (I think I tug it in my sleep, oops) and Pitbull understandably stated that they would have to charge me $5 for the ball as it had been a while. I opted to use different jewelry instead . 4. now, today I went in and asked about a weird infection-like growth on my ear. No questions asked, Bailey cleaned it and took a look and gave me advice as well as salt solution and a new after care package. That is great customer service! I've had 4 piercings done here (nostril, septum, tongue webbing, and rook) and though the piercings themselves are fine, there are a lot of complaints I have about Pitbull. However there are some good things as well! The Pros: - The piercer that I've had everytime (A girl with lots of facial piercings whose name I don't remember) has been thorough, kind, and always gave me lots of information and answered all of my questions. She has always been kind and when I had a problem with my nose I called her and she gave me a ton of information and help. - The selection of jewelry is pretty good, and if you're looking for something they'll most likely have it. - Their buy one get one free sales happen quite frequently and are honestly a really good deal. One of the reasons why I keep going back here. The Cons: - Cash only. I never have cash on me and I always have to use the ATM in the shop, which, of course, has ATM fees. So annoying. It's 2015! So many people pay debit/credit and it seems kind of ridiculous to not have a debit machine in store. - The front staff are rude. Like, every time I have gone they've been rude. Asking things like "Are you sure you're old enough to get pierced?" And going "Hmmm. Kay." When looking at my drivers license. Not cool. - I had a major major major issue with my nostril piercing healing. I got my other nostril pierced at a different place and there weren't any issues. After I got it done at Pitbull it had a huge bump on it and wouldn't go away. I cleaned it as I should have and once I stopped following the salt soaks it calmed down. Went into pitbull the other day to inquire about some piercings she wanted and I can't say it was a very good experience. It looked and smelled very clean, and had a huge selection of jewellery both good things. But that's kind of where it ended for us. We were greeted by an empty front of shop, no big deal, except we had to call out for someone and wait a while for anyone to poke their heads out of the back and when they did there was no greeting just "what do you want" two people a girl and a guy. When my friend said what she wanted and asked about pricing he gave he a shrug and waved it off to the girl who came out with him. She wasn't very pleased to help us either but answered the bare minimum to questions and really just made it uncomfortable because we felt like neither of them could be bothered with us. So needless to say my friend did not end up giving them her business but instead we went to Shambhala just down whyte a couple of blocks and were treated amazing. read more

We were please with the professionalism and the fact they give you the option to have your piercings done by the same sex if you like. They gave us enough sea salt to last a couple weeks and answered all our questions on how to care for the piercings properly. I walked into here over a month ago to get my nose pierced. Turns out there was a Buy One, Get One Free deal going on so I went ahead and got my naval piercing done as well. The piercer was very friendly and she answered my questions, as well as the questions of my already naval pierced friends who accompanied me. She was very quick about the piercings and explained the process to me quite thoroughly. One complaint I have is that her instructions on aftercare weren't the best. She gave me a pamphlet with information in it, but it didn't have a lot of actual use. It didn't say if I could wear tight clothing over it or not. It didn't say what size piercings I had. Most importantly, it didn't say when the piercings would be healed. I feel like while these are questions most people need to know, it's very easy to forget to ask them in all of the excitement of getting pierced. So if they are going to have a pamphlet, it would make more sense to actually include pertinent information in it. I have to mention that the store is cash only, which is SUPER inconvenient because piercings and tattoos add up quickly (and who carries around cash these days anyways?). They do have an ATM in the corner of the store, however, and it charges the usual ATM fees. But I have to say that accepting only cash in a tattoo store is a poor choice. read more

I wish there were more reviews for tattoos and piercing shops just because it's so useful for people. It was unfortunate that the only review on here for pitbull tattoos is so negative. My friends and I stumbled into pitbull because the original store she had wanted to get her nose pierced at didn't have any nose studs left after Easter weekend (which just screams bad planning/preparation to me). They had their buy 1 get 1 free piercing deal, so she ended up getting her nose and naval done. I've had both mine done before and watching her piercer was really interesting. She knew what she was talking about and was so nice. There was also a large variety if jewelry to choose from too. While I was there, I spontaneously asked if they had anyone free for a small tattoo. I've gotten tattoos at multiple shops in edmonton alone, and although it doesn't measure up to atomic zombie or crimson empire, pitbull was clean and professional. I probably wouldn't have gone with a spur of the moment tattoo if the design had been any more intricate, but for my small design, anyone could have done it. The quality of the tattoo could definitely have been better, but for the price and the efficiency that they showed, I was satisfied. Overall, it's a pretty decent place if you want to pop in and get some work done quick. I wouldn't get any elaborate work here but if I ever feel like a spontaneous piercing, I'd definitely consider coming down to pitbull tattoos and piercings again. I had a barbell for my Daith and must have loosened the ball while cleaning it and the barbell fell out. I called and they answered after closing and told me to come in on the next day. They asked if I still had the jewellery the next day. I said that I didn't but would pay for another piece. I was given a hoop of my choice for free. I was even more impressed. I felt like the female piercer was rude and clumsy with my piercing. My experience was very good. The lady at the front of the store was not the most welcoming, but other than that it was great. I was a walk in for the buy one get one piercing, I was in the booth within ten minutes of getting there. Autumn the piercer was very calm, professional and understanding. I had tugged on my piercing about a month later and called and talked to her again, I received great advice, she was very helpful. I would go again for piercings. Okay so i've only had one piercing done here, about 3 weeks ago I got my septum done, i had wanted it for so long but as student i didn't really want to pay $80 to get it done some where else. Anyway overall I had a really decent experience. The guy at the front I had hadn't seemed rude to me at all and my piercer who's name was Autumn had done a fantastic job overall, she answered all of my questions thoroughly and had explained the process fairly well, i have had no troubles healing at all so far as well. I'd say, if you're a student, want a piercing I recommend this place as it isn't too expensive and they do a really decent job. It also smells really clean in there you also have to take off your shoes when looking around as well. One only negative thing i would have to say is that it's cash only, but it wasn't a big deal for me as I had researched a bit before i got mine done. read more

Until now I have always had nothing but good things to say about Pitbull. I have been a faithful customer since they had a shop in Fort Saskatchewan. I have several tattoos and have gotten plenty of piercings a this shop. My first issue is that I was told I would receive ONE free touch up on each of my two tattoos I had gotten. Well, that offer is only valid as long as the original artist is with the shop... Sadly, I didn't know that... So now I am left with two tattoos that badly need to be fixed up and I'll have to pay another shop to fix this ones mistakes. My second issue; I went in one day for the 2 for 1 sale... came with my sister... she was going to get 1 piercing and I was getting 1 as well. As soon as we walked in the door and up the stairs the owner said "Hope if you guys are here for piercings you have ID" Of course I didn't. That was my bad. So I vowed I would be in the next day. The next day comes and due to errands we didn't make it there until 8:15 pm... No biggie since they close at 9:30 pm right? wrong. No sooner than I had made it up the stairs and half way to the ATM (because this shop STILL doesn't accept debit or credit) the owner once again says "I hope you guys aren't here for a piercing because there's 3 people ahead of you so we aren't accepting anymore people" SERIOUSLY... We had driven (the day before as well) over an hour to get to this shop and the worst part is he knows where we live... Finally I decided that the third time was the charm and tried for the final time... The owner wasn't in and surprisingly the lady and the man at the counter were very nice and got me in right away... WITHOUT asking for ID... which I had brought anyways. The piercer here is nothing short of fantastic. I have never had such a talented and genuinely nice piercer. I got my nipple and labret pierced and was on my way. Cut to a month later, I messaged Pitbull on Facebook because the inside of my labret piercing looks terrible!!!! I have a huge white bump and I do not know what to do. Basically I was told it "looks like dead skin cells and that is perfectly normal". I have had piercings since I was 13 years old and I know what is normal for my body, a huge throbbing bump is NOT. Needless to say, I will not ever be gracing this shop with my presence again. I went to get my first piercing other then my ears at pitbull a years ago to get my lip done then I went a second time with my mother to get our noses pierced. Needless to say I'm still very impressed with their work and will continue to go back for more as well as it has healed really well since getting them. My friend and I went for their bogo piercings as walk in customers. The front desk was more than helpful. Actually told me that they wouldn't stretch my ear lobes til they'd healed a little more. I ended up getting two piercings and my friend got four done. Mike was SO helpful, knowledge and did all the piercings efficiently. While she was getting a tattoo I asked to use the washroom and was refused. The lady was rude from the moment I walked in and told her I was with my friend and wasnt getting work done. Its a nice place but they can use a better person in the front.) EDIT: I remained in the waiting room with my other friend. We decided to grab a bite to eat and find a washroom because they wouldnt let me use thiers. I was trying to go to my friend (getting the work done) and give her her bag. I was told there was only one person alot in the back, I replied stating there was noone back there with her. He told me in a very rude manner to leave her stuff in the waiting room where it could be tampered with or stolen. Considering how rude the staff speaks to their customers I am surprised they still have people coming. I wish I can rate this place a fat 0! Luckily my friend is finishing her tattoo today (her tattoo artist is super awesome), because you will never see her or any of us in your shop again. read more

Do. Not. Go here for piercings or tattoos. Do not. These people do not care about your well-being, your health, or about giving you a tattoo or piercing you love. They're in the business of making a quick buck the fastest and cheapest way possible. The 2 for 1 deal on piercings for $60 is your first red flag. $60 for any single piercing is cheap enough as it is, but $30 per piercing, essentially, isn't even enough to cover the cost of the jewelry, which is a major indication the jewelry they're putting into you is cheap and of poor quality. I visited this shop once and got their 2 for 1 piercing deal; a septum and conch. To start off, probably the only positive thing I can say about this place is the storefront is clean. It smells like it's sanitized, which is good. The storefront was attended to by a stone-faced, monotonous dude who had zero customer service skill. No greeting, no smiles, nothing. I don't even recall that he said anything to me at all other than the fact they had a 2 for 1 special on all piercings. The piercer was friendly enough, but I noticed a couple of issues - she didn't seem very knowledgeable about healing and aftercare. While wearing sterile gloves, she inadvertently contaminated them by touching multiple surfaces. She was only using externally threaded jewelry, which is known to add risk for infection, and there was no internally threaded jewelry option. My septum healed fine, but keep in mind, that one is flesh. My conch not only took over a year to heal and repeatedly got infected despite diligent cleaning and care, but I also developed a cyst that refused to go away no matter how many times I drained it or got it cleaned out by a doctor. The only thing that made it go away was finally changing the jewelry to higher quality metals. If you get pierced here, you are almost guaranteed to have healing issues, which includes a chronic cyst or drainage at the piercing site. This is due to the cheap, poor quality jewelry they use. Many, many people who've received piercings here have this problem (as if the reviews on this page were any indication already). I would never recommend this place, ever. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Again, don't do it. Do not risk it. Don't be cheap when it comes to your body. Spend a little extra and go somewhere like Atomic Zombie where you'll be looked after. read more

I would not recommend pit bull for body piercing. I haven't gotten a tattoo from here so I cannot comment on that aspect. I went to get my second lobe and daith done at pitbull about a year and a half ago and after a few weeks I removed the daith piercing as it was extremely uncomfortable. As far as my second lobe piercing I followed all the after care I was given and one day it had swelled up so much that I thought the back of the earring was covered in scar tissue and how to get an X-ray taken of my ear. Thankfully it had been pushed off from the swelling, however I removed the jewelry that it was originally pierced with and waited for it to heal. After awhile it was healed and I contacted another studio about re piercing my lobe. When I went they commented on the poor placement of the original piercing and the angle that it was done at. I would not recommend pitbull for piercing to anyone, the buy one get one half off deals they have are supper cheap but are terribly done, I wasn't given a choice in what jewelry I wanted, and my friend who had her double helix done there had to have them both removed as well for how poorly they were done. I would honestly just save up some extra cash and go to atomic zombie or showdown. Far better experience and piercers at both of those studios and well worth the money. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place. I'll start with the positive! So my roommate and I came to Pitbull to each get a cartilage piercing. After we finished the paper work and waited for a little bit we were connected with a piercing artist and got started. The man who pierced us was so friendly! Very funny, and very sociable. He was also quite knowledgeable. I would definitely go back to get pierced by him, for sure. Negatives: The receptionist was incredibly rude. I was very unimpressed. So my roommates do not speak English as a first language. So of course they will have to have things repeated to them more then once sometimes! There's nothing wrong with that, right? It was ridiculous though, because when we asked how much the piercings would be the receptionist rattled off prices very quickly and very unenthusiastically. When my roommate (very politely) asked her to repeat herself, she sighed and rattled off the list again! Just as fast, with the same level of enthusiasm. My roommate was too shy to ask again, and so I had to take her aside and quickly recap what the receptionist had said. If someone clearly comes into a shop and asks for a first time piercing, in a very thick foreign accent, it seems like common sense to MAYBE, perhaps, take that into consideration and be a bit more understanding. Also, on the way out of the store, having completed our piercings, my roommates and I said thank you to the piercer and to the receptionist. The piercer was very kind and wished us a good day. The receptionist? She looked incredibly bored and annoyed. She didn't even wave or acknowledge us. So. To recap. This place has a lot of potential! I absolutely would go again to ask for that particular piercer (I forget his name, which I regret). But the fact that the very first person I interacted with was rude and irritable kind of ruined my experience. Get better customer service, Pitbull. Please. Or, at least teach your receptionist how to smile and treat people decently. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Inept staff, poor technique for piercing. The most positive review on this place is by that Ashley chick, who forgets to mention that she works there! I stupidly went for 1 piercing and I will never go again. When I entered the shop no one was out front. I stood there for over 10 minutes before someone showed up from the back. Very rude attitude, asking 'what do you want?' and being very nonchalant in how we interacted. I signed the permission slip and had to pay right then and there. The person took my permission slip and disappeared into the back without another word to me. I sat awkwardly in the waiting area for about another 10 minutes before the piercer showed up and took me to the back. The piercer never changed gloves once! The same gloves for opening drawers, setting up equipment, even taking my fucking spit cup! He used a pen to mark the spot, just a regular ordinary pen that he had sitting on the counter! I went to Pitbull for the first time in the summer after a friend recommended it for its 2 for 1 piercings sale. I thought this was a great opportunity to get the two piercings I want. When I got there there appeared to be a large selection of jewelry for purchase and it was quite busy. It's interesting the way they have things set up. It's like a roll call system where they have a bunch of piercers in the back and they basically get a card with your name and desired piercing and who ever is available calls you into their booth. Sort of like the fast food chain, if you will, of piercing places. Anyway I got called in by a girl who's booth was the first to the right and she took me into her little piercing booth. I got my conch and helix pierced. It did seem very clean and she did the piercings very quickly. She explained the aftercare and sent me on my way. I was happy when I left the shop but healing these piercings has been a real challenge. I think the conch ring is too snug on my ear and it irritates the piercing. This is either from a ring that is too small for my anatomy or from a misplaced piercing. The helix seemed to heal well for a while but eventually got this terrible bump and basically sucked the stud end of the bar into my ear (gross I know). So I had to remove it. I went back to get some change the jewelry in my conch because it was so snug and they did so free of charge. I got the same girl who pierced me and she seemed very rushed and unorganized. Also contaminated the gloves by touching dirty surfaces many times. Honestly I would recommend you do not cheap out on piercings and I have learned my lesson. I would only go back to by jewelry and would never get tattooed there based on some of the tattoos I have seen posted by Pitbull on their Facebook page. read more

I came here in February of 2019 to try something new and to see what else is out there, I read reviews on them and wen there to get my navel pierced, everyone was friendly and amazing. I got my piercing and it started to heal, time goes on and it gets worse so I called and told them what was going on, sent them a picture and they told me what to do. It worked for a little then it got worse from that so I went to my normal piercer and she said they pierced my tummy and not my actual navel because of the jewel and how my body is. They used a normal curved jewel like you would for any other navel but instead of piercing my navel they pierced aboved. My normal piercer said I should have had a Jbar for how my body is and the person who pierced me said nothing about it. In all fairness I didn't know a lot of about navel piercings when I first walked in but I believe I should've been told that I needed a Jbar and not a normal curved one. Now I will have an ugly scar above my navel. read more

Im not one to complain but i've never felt so belittled and offended by the customer service I just had over the phone. I called in April 16 2014 asking about facial piercing and a man answered the phone and told me it was around $60-65 which includes the jewellery/tax. I wanted to book an appointment however they only take walk-ins for piercing, the guy also mentioned a 2 for 1 deal for piercing. I called back a few minutes later to ask how the deal worked... what are the rules? can you spilt it with someone? 2 for 1 deals are rare when it comes to piercing and tattoos( im not calling for a happy meal coupon)... the man answered back as if i was an idiot and didn't understand English and kept on saying "two for one slowly"as if I'll understand it better slow. I know what 2 for 1 means but what are the rules, can I get my nose pierce and my friend her nipple or is it only one person two piercings...?The customer service was so bad just over the phone! i cant imagine how they are in person. I was ready to go there and get a piercing and possibly talk about a future tattoo, now i'm turned off and annoyed. I guess Pittbull tattoo doesn't want business... good luck with that! The front staff are very unwelcoming and rude. The guy that was doing the piercings, talked and talked about how he had 19 years of experience. Yet messed up on my septum and had to redo it. My friend was getting her nape stud changed, it fell off within an hour. She called in and the guy told her it was all her fault because she doesn't know how to take care of it.... The guy at the front (with the horns) was way nicer than the other reviews had claimed and Autumn was amazing she was so thorough and nice and very comfortable when asking questions. She was totally cool with moving the dot around and showing what the peircings will look like and was very formative with cleaning. I'm more than happy! read more

In my opinion it was really over priced. Upon checking out other piercing shops in the area I realized they all were over priced I have a lot of piercings and buy a lot of Jewelry so I know how much they cost. The place did look very clean and organized but the price was way to much for me. Also they did not have my gauge which was surprising because one of the guys had bigger gauges then me. I had been looking to get a bit of a sensitive piercing on my chest done, and as I was walking down Whyte Ave I saw that they had a 2-for-1 deal going on, so I thought Hey, might as well get a two-fer! I spoke to a gentleman behind the counter about it, and while he wasn't outgoingly friendly, he was professional and explained the procedure and aftercare really well. I decided to go for it. I had to wait a little longer than he had initially said I would have to (not their fault, the girls who went in right before me were more squeamish than had been anticipated and one of them passed out haha) but they got me in there as soon as they could. Bailey did my piercing, and even though she looks young, she was awesome! Her space was immaculate and well organized, and she was super thorough with explaining how it was all going to go down and again went through aftercare. She marked the spots, had me check and double check that I was happy with the placement, and we were off! Just before we were about to start, a friend came in and was let back there with no problems (after checking with me, of course) and she stayed with me until I was done. All in all, I'm super stoked on the piercings, and will definitely go back to Bailey for more. read more
