I pick up my bike, paid an arm and a leg and went home. Then a couple days later it was the weekend and I went for a motorcycle ride on my bike with my brand new chain. I was excited. I don't ride off-road much so here I am cruising down the road at 65 miles per hour when my chain just exploded off. It missed my leg by a hair and I almost crashed and could have died. It's a brand new chain mind you. So I called and left a message. I waited a week and got no call back. Then I called and left another message. Waited 1 more week with no reply. So at that point I decided to write a review and I did. The n zt day I got an extremely rude phone call from the owner Neil. I answered the phone and instead of asking me if I'm OK from what happened to me, all he was concerned about was that I left a bad review. He said, WTFMF?! That's effed up you gave me a bad review. Can you believe the nerve of this piece of S?? He said chains break all the time! What a load of bs. A brand new chain doesn't break on the first ride. PLUS, THEY RIPPED ME OFF. I researched the chain and discovered he ordered a cheap version from Amazon that cost like $40. DONT EVER BRING ANY OF YOUR POWER TOYS HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF AND/OR POSSIBLY LOSE YOUR LIFE. I REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB and I hope people read this because it could save your life. Never Going Here Again. This place is a joke and they don't know what they are doing and don't care about customer safety. Plus, it's waaaay overpriced. What a rip off!!

I called a different local shop and after two days I still never heard back. I called "417 The Shop", left a message and in less than five minutes had a return call. The owner is a super nice guy, he was honest about what he could and couldn't do on this particular Friday afternoon and what would have to wait until next Monday. I was able to get done everything I needed to within the afternoon. Efficient, knowledgeable, respectful and honest. Customer service was even above what I have experienced from many shops in the past. They even had a young man carry my freshly mounted wheels/tires out and load them up in my car for me. I will definitely be back!

The closest shop that could attempt repair on a Victory Vegas cycle was Jay Hatfield's in Frontenac, Kansas. After having the bike towed to his shop, his mechanic was not only able to fix the bike without the parts, but stayed after hours to do the repair. Then Jay, himself came to speak with us and told us that he wouldn't charge for the repair. He said, "I could never leave a fellow biker stranded!" Wow! That's service and empathy in a BIG way. When I walk to the service counter I was "greeted" by the person behind the counter. First of all he looked like he was completely bored and ready to fall asleep. Then his "greeting" was the most unenergetic I think I have ever heard. I told him why I was there and the process of getting my oil changed began. Now for the next hour or so I walked around the showroom looking at different bikes. I was very interested in a Yamaha FZ07 which I was looking at very hard. Not once did a salesman come ask me if I needed anything. The staff that was out on the showroom floor basically ignored me the entire time I was there. Like I stated earlier I purchased my Victory from you guys, I wasn't expecting anything special but at the very least the Freakin Saleman that sold me the bike could have said hello! He was not busy, given I was the only "customer" there for pretty much the entire time. I can guarantee I will not return for any type of business with you and I will not recommend you to anyone! ******The only positive thing I can say is while I was waiting one of the mechanics came to the showroom, walked directly over to me and thanked my for my service in the Military (I have a Coast Guard decal on my bike).
