I called a different local shop and after two days I still never heard back. I called "417 The Shop", left a message and in less than five minutes had a return call. The owner is a super nice guy, he was honest about what he could and couldn't do on this particular Friday afternoon and what would have to wait until next Monday. I was able to get done everything I needed to within the afternoon. Efficient, knowledgeable, respectful and honest. Customer service was even above what I have experienced from many shops in the past. They even had a young man carry my freshly mounted wheels/tires out and load them up in my car for me. They must have read my earlier review as they now have all sorts of cruisers on their showroom floor. I wasn't actually there to buy this time, but to sell my Harley. I was picking up a new Vulcan from a private seller and jut didn't need it anymore. I worked with Bob Ernins in sales. I told him what I wanted for it, which was about KBB when selling to a dealer. He had the service department go over the bike and after finding no issues and noting it was in good condition they ended up giving me exactly what I wanted for it without turning it into a haggling session. Renegade Harley had offered me about 1.5K less than I wanted and did it a super shady way. Bob Ernins had the paperwork done and I was back out the door in record time with cash in hand. Super props to Bob for taking the time to work with me and doing a great job despite my not buying a new bike from them. Tomorrow I am taking the new Vulcan out to them for a service.
