    When it comes to car dealerships, this is definitely one of my favorites..one of my least favorite experiences in life is buying a new car! My wife and I have had terrible experiences with customer service...that is until we started going to Roper Honda in Joplin, Mo! This dealership is second to none when it comes to customer service! We have had wonderful experiences the last two times we have purchased vehicles and we look forward to purchasing more in the future! When it comes to spending money, I definitely don't mind spending maybe a little more as long as I have a good and pleasant experience buying a vehicle! That is the feeling I receive a Roper Honda even though they price their vehicles to sell! Overall, do yourself a favor and stop by this dealership if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle and you would like to have a pleasant experience!

    This is my second purchase from Roper and I'm not going anywhere else. I've bought new and I've bought used from you and I always feel that the deal is fair for both sides. Reese was amazing to work with. He was so patient and gave us any and all time needed to make our final decision. We were torn between two cars and he gave us great info about both without trying to push one over the other. He then showed us what deal we could expect from either and was patient as we went back out to look at the vehicles and made our final decision. I've always brought my cars here for service regardless of where I've purchased them and that will continue. The service department is open and honest and doesn't make me feel like I should do something that isn't necessary.

    We were driving through Joplin on our cross county trip to get our young ballerina from Los Angeles to NYC for a ballet intensive when our air conditioner broke. I asked Siri for the nearest Honda dealer and gave them a call. Michael answered and said we could bring it right in. He was so friendly and helpful. We had our car back within 3 hours and were back on the road with a new condenser. He went above and beyond to help us out and I feel like we made a new friend too. They were very happy to help this young ballerina get to New York!

Credits not perfect, who's is these days, but Jim and the crew at Fletcher Ford treated us with respect and dignity. Jim first showed us a base model Escape, nice car just, not quite the car we had in mind, looking for a few more features. It was what was available to us with our buget, we were willing to accept that. Jim took it upon himself to speak with his finance manager and get us just the car we wanted with better features and financing than we ever expected! Ended up with an Escape SE. Love our new car!! I can say this has got to be the best car buying experience I've ever had. Can't give them 5 stars just yet, have to wait and see how the service department works, that's usually where the ball get dropped, I'll update when I have to take it for my first oil change. As for the sales team, well all I can say THANKS GUYS FOR AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE! !!! 4-2017 update.... I said I needed to wait for see how service was... Well still cant give it 5 stars. Service is not the worst I've ever had, but typical for dealer service departments. Seems the wait is longer than should be for oil change. They also seem to lose appointments, oh they are always willing to "fit me in" that's great since I made an appointment two weeks ago. I was hoping that by waiting longer to update my review that it would get better, good news is... it hasn't gotten worse, not better either though. So if your looking to buy Fletcher is the place. I've even bought another car from them since, thanks Jim! Just take your car elsewhere for service, unless it's a dealer service item, I go somewhere else. Hope this helps...

I purchased a Tesla Model 3 from Midwest Motors in Joplin, MO in December 2024. The dealership never submitted the form to the the IRS so I could get the $4,000 tax credit. I was told by numerous friends, car dealerships, and business owners to have the car dealership submit the one page form as car dealerships can easily get the tax credit from the IRS. Midwest Motors was not interested in doing this as they were selling this Tesla as a favor to a friend and consultant to their company. I wanted to make it easy on Midwest Motors so I did not press them on doing the work. I am now out $4k as Midwest Motors never submitted one form that confirmed I purchased the car from them, or submitted the one simple form with the incorrect VIN. The owner and team at Midwest Motors was pleasant and easy to work with during the sales processes. However, like many sales transactions, companies are not willing to help after the deal is closed. They have moved on to the next transaction.

    Do not buy a Kia. They sell you on a 10-year, 200,000-mile warranty, yet my car is now sitting with…read morea blown engine not covered under the warranty with only 64,000 miles on it. Here is what the technician said happened: 'The alternator shaft pulled the threads from the alternator pulley, causing the pulley to come off along with the belt. This damaged the water pump and radiator, which then broke an engine mount and blew the head gasket.' All of that is only covered under the 60,000-mile warranty. So an engine pulley, something that literally turns the drivetrain, is somehow not considered part of the drivetrain? The drivetrain can't turn or function without an engine pulley. You see how they trick you? They are really selling you a car with a 60,000-mile warranty. And honestly, do you really want to buy a brand-new car with 17 miles on it that is effectively only covered for 60,000 miles, especially when Kia is known for using cheap parts? But I did figure out why they say "stay frosty"... It's because they know your engine will be blown and the heater won't work. So you're sitting in a non-operational vehicle, freezing...thus: "Stay Frosty." When I called and told them the problems I was having with the Kia dealership. They didn't care. So, no, they are not a "dealer for the people." They are a "dealer for the suckers who buy here"

    I was in the market for a project vehicle. While driving by I saw a 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport…read more A friend of mine had suggested that this was a good vehicle for the project I was working on and I decided to swing by and check it out. It had just over 130,000 miles on it, Not bad for an 11 year old vehicle. I test drove it and everything seemed fine so I was ready to talk some numbers. The salesman told me the vehicle financed for $11,950 with a down payment of $500 if I brought in a case of canned goods ($800 sans the tinned veggies). Not being one to jump into important purchases without doing thorough research I took a couple days to research the vehicle. I looked at the KBB value of the vehicle which pegged it between $6,000-$7,500 based on a few different factors. Assuming a value of $7000. This lot wanted to charge me an extra $5000 or 170+% of the vehicle's actual value. Further more the salesman told me the payments would have been about $350 for a period of 2 years. "we do a two year note" he said. But by my calculations to pay off the balance in that 2 year time frame would have required a monthly payment of $477 a significant increase compared to the $350 I was originally quoted. When I confronted the salesman a few days later he defended his companies pricing by saying that the warranty on the vehicles and their customer base's propensity to not pay their note was the reason for the high cost of the vehicle financed. When i inquired about the difference in payment quote vs my calculations he adjusted his note time frame to two and a half years. (Close but it would actually be about 33 Months at a $350 a month payment.) Perhaps I'm daft but $5000 is too much to pay for a warranty and to make up for other's inability or unwillingness to re-pay. One could purchase a 2nd car for that amount of money. I asked a cash price for the vehicle and another salesman stepped in and quoted a price of about $8000, still $500-$1000 more than the vehicles actual value. Needless to say I drove off in the vehicle I had come to the lot in. I hope this review will allow those who consider doing business with Best Buy Here Pay Here in Joplin to go in armed with information that will allow them to defend themselves against unscrupulous business practices adhered to by this and many other "buy her pay here" car dealers. I realize that as we come out of an economic recession many are left with fewer options when it comes to financing a vehicle, however being scammed at this level is an affront to the intelligence of the average person.

But.... now..... when I have made a payment arrangement with one of their office staff.... they tell me I am lying. i have all messages as I texted the lady before. When I requested their main office number I was told I couldn't have it. I was was told I am lying and that no one ever told me the payment arrangements were ever made. I have copies of ALL messages from the last three months. Also..... when you look them up..... they have closed according to the BBB site.. I have had nothing but issues with one lady in particular everytime I have had to deal with her. I requested to speak with someone else and was told she couldn't help me. Even tho I have talked to the main office before.
