However each time I've been to Carl's Jr. I'm impressed with their table service, speed and quality of food. I always order a pretty bog standard burger with some onion rings on the side. I love the quality of their ingredients and okay it's a little more expensive than some fast food outlets but this place has a great ambiance and table service to match. Yorkshire Roasts have everything you could want out of a roast place: a great selection of meats, crispy, golden roast potatoes, kumara and some of the nicest gravy I've tasted! The prices range from a small meal for $9, a medium one for $11 and a large for $15, so it's really great if you want a meal at lunchtime but don't want to be overly full, or just depending on the size of your appetite. For me though, the best part is the Yorkshire puddings. I'm obsessed with their battery goodness, and these ones could rival my mums in terms of size and flavour. They also have roast meat sandwiches if you don't want a full meal (but I always do!) and their extras start at around 70c, so it's really good value.

But hard working brains need a boost every now and again right? The best thing is, is that the food's really cheap. I loved their fruit salad containers that are filled with melon, apple, grapes...all the nice fruits. And the soups were perfect on those cold winter days. They also have seating outside which is great if you want to chill in the sunshine and people watch for your lunch break. For me this is heaven, nothing satisfies a student more than cheap food! I saw the sign as I was about to head into Imax food court but I ran across the road to Global Sandwich. I bought a smoked chicken sandwich on five grain bread and a banana muffin. This cost me $3.70! If you don't believe me head down there yourself. Apart from the cheap price it's nice to know that they are some honest people in this world who don't recycle their food stock.
