During a family vacation I went in for ice and snacks and when it came time to pay the cashier immediately asked if I would pay with food stamps. I stated no, I'd use my visa. The bank declined it because I was so far from home and didn't have a travel notice. She proceeded to quickly say the bank would only allow me to overdraft so far. I asked to go get my phone to let the bank know of my travel and pay for my goods but couldn't believe what a rude cashier this was. Not to mention the clerk had no regard for the COVID requirement to wear masks. She didn't have one on or enforced the law requirement to wear a mask. I could have gone to the Exxon next door but I chose to support local businesses so to be greeted with such disrespect was just a shame. I can't imagine her life or what led her to make that assumption but God help her. Maybe she's struggling herself. read more

The females that work are very night. But be careful of the guy. He overcharges you every single time. And not by a little bit either. And you are stuck because most of their items are not marked. As a long time customer of this store I am very disappointed. Most of you around this area know every morning you will find my company vehicles fueling up and filling our coolers with ice and drinks. On Saturday this past week I was sad to see the store manager took it upon himself to gouge our community by inflating his fuel price from $2.49 to $2.99. I learned who was responsible when I walked in and asked the clerk on duty "did you get a new load of fuel in?" She replied no the manager just did it just like his brother did who runs the other Pit Stop in town. I called the owner on his cell phone who said he would take care of it. However the price did not get rolled back and they sold the remaining fuel at that price. So disappointed read more
