Complete garbage and messed up install of my interlock device that costed me extra 6k to get fixed cause they tore up all the wire in my dash to make it work and it failed me Everytime I went to start truck cause it was sucking too much battery and each start required a battery jump or had to buy new battery every month for first 4 months. One year ago Christmas Eve I was stranded in Apache Junction five days prior to that I took my truck into Pitt Road automotive to have the differential pinion seal changed David had trouble getting the front axle out and actually damaged it to the point that he had to replace that axle he also replaced an axle you joint and axle seal telling me that they were damaged, he actually had a difficult time just pulling the axles out of the front differential and having damaged one he couldn't get that part so I had to get a motel room overnight in showlow and rent a car for that evening and the next day when I went to pick up my truck the bill was $ 3700 so I paid that and left, and like I said a few days later I went into South Phoenix and Mesa and as I approached Mesa I heard a howl from the differential, i started looking for a shop, I found a transmission shop two days before Christmas, they were able to get me up on the rack and established that the pinion bearing was going out, , at this point I called Pitt Road automotive and talk to David he said that he would make some calls and see if there was anyone down there that he knew that could help me out and get back to me I never heard back from him , the transmission shop found a chassis differential shop, Rips automotive (a 30+ year established business working on differential and running gear) and I was able to get the truck to that shop, I left it there at Rips shop overnight and had to get a motel room for 110 bucks and hike 3 miles to the shop the next morning Rip was able to find a bearing on Christmas Eve he replaced that bearing and I was able to drive back to Showlow Christmas Day, Rip stated that the differential pinion bearing had been overtightened and stated that "whoever did this had no idea what they were doing" the cost of the gauled bearing and labor was $2,700 rips automotive was amazing they took care of me on Christmas Eve stranded at Apache Junction I called David Boger at Pitt Road automotive the following day after returning to Showlow and he said "he would turn this into his insurance " it's been a year and a week and I haven't heard from him since. I tried to call his cell phone several times after the incident and his phone had been assigned to another person. David Boger might be OK to change your oil or fix a flat tire but I wouldn't recommend it he has my phone number and has yet to give me a call read more

5/5 Customer Service- The person at the front desk, I think his name was David, was very knowledgeable and helpful and able to get my car fixed in one day! 4/5 Repairs- The only reason I can't give 5 stars on the repairs is this, and if it's wrong on my part then I'll adjust it later, but first, let me state, the tire pressure indicator lights on my dashboard stopped working a while ago. The reason I say that will be made clear in a minute. Over the past week, my power steering light came on in my '09 Chevy Cobalt and I thought "No big deal, my mother's at WalMart, I'll ask her to pick me up a bottle of power steering fluid." So I did that, and I then I googled where to put the Power Steering Fluid in a '09 Cobalt, which I guess I should've done first because I discovered that you don't put power steering fluid in an '09 Cobalt, it's electronic, so I didn't need the bottle- lol. I also read that the '09 Cobalt had a recall a few years back over power steering issues, so I started getting really nervous. What I had going on by now was this, all the indicator lights on my dash had failed over the past few days and even my speedometer had stopped telling me how fast I was going, then, in addition, my car started driving like it was stuck in 3rd gear, it wouldn't go over 45 mph with my foot to the floor and the rpm meter reading almost in the red. But David called me back within a couple of hours and told me that what had happened was apparently mice had made a home under the hood of my car. It's approaching winter and my car is always parked outdoors so I'm actually surprised it's never happened before. But anyway, $800 and only a few hours later I get the call the car is ready to be picked up. i get in the car and start it and it sounds beautiful, all the dashboard indicator lights are fixed EXCEPT the tire pressure indicator light. Now I mentioned this had failed a while ago so I wasn't sure if maybe they considered is a separate issue, but we said to fix ALL our electronic indicator lights and for $800 I would think they should be included. If it's not then fine, we're very happy with the repairs, I just thought why wouldn't that be included as well? read more

On a road trip from Phoenix, we had a blow-out in our rented car in the middle of nowhere. Dave not only managed to find us the tires we needed, but dealt directly with the car rental agency, found a tire place closer to where we were and then paid for the service so we wouldn't have to go through the whole process of submitting a claim. He really came through for us and got us back on the road in as short a time as possible. read more

Even though they were booked for the whole day with Intoxalock device installations, Dave promised he would fit our vehicle in and that we'd have it before the end of the day. They kept their word and even had it done earlier than we expected! This is an honest and hardworking company that puts customers first, and we couldn't be happier with the service we received. We were visiting Showlow and ran into problems with our car. Had looked on Yelp and saw good reviews for Pit Road automotive and decided to try them. They were fabulous. Tina was our savior!!. They worked on the car immediately and had it up and running within a half a day. I know they went out of their way to help us and it was greatly appreciated.
