To find some nice flowers on a Saturday before Mother's Day was clearly a monumental challenge. Many places weren't open and if some were, their selections were weak. To make matters worse, I was looking specifically for peonies which are hard to come by; they're expensive and very sensitive. Most people who buy these understand their fickle nature and tend to shy away from them, while roses are much less expensive and can handle anything thrown at them. This place not only had a nice selection of peonies, they had so much of everything. There's a walk in cooler that's filled with so many fresh flowers so in case you're looking for other items, this place definitely has it. Hands down probably the top florist in Dade County but parking maybe a small challenge that's mostly on Alton road. read more

This place has really gone to shit. It used to be a place where you can get one of a kind arrangements. I ordered a $125 arrangement and by far it's the worse representation of tropical flowers. I asked for some nice colors and I received this crap. I asked for delivery in the morning. I get some guy telling me that he was doing me a favor by accepting my order. That they were sooo busy and that I should feel grateful! I only wish he would have told me they were busy and I would have taking my hard earned money somewhere else. This place sucks now and I think they really don't give a shit about small orders. read more

Few things are as nice as receiving flowers. A big, beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers arrives and brightens up the day and the room. It's an old-fashioned notion that never goes out of style. Recently, when I was out of town one of my mentors and friends celebrated a birthday. I was across the country and I figured I could take her out for a drink or something when I returned. However, to know this woman you know she's known for impeccable taste and a modern meets classic sensibility so I jumped on Yelp and looked for a florist. I'd been aware of Pistils and Petals for years, having seen their creations at a variety of shops. I loved their description of flower shop meets design studio and once I read the previous review and the mention of "unusual and simple" I knew they were who I was looking for. I called and placed the order. It was simple and quick. The flowers arrived that same day. And my friend wrote to tell me how lovely the arrangement was. Perfection. If you're reading this please note I love to receive flowers almost as much as I enjoy sending them. read more

P&P has been my partner in making my best friend's birthday special and memorable! For over 5 years they have always gone out of their way to accommodate my crazy requests! They've delivered flowers to restaurants, hotels, and of course home. Being so far away, (Arizona) it is a relief to know I can ALWAYS count on their quality customer service and AMAZING floral arrangements! Thank you AGAIN for helping me make my friend's day! they care only about money! awful service, I had to go to Whole Foods for the florist to do what I ask. And they also buy flowers in Whole Foods when they run out of them))) I advise everyone to buy small bouquets in Whole Foods, there works a good florist, fresh flowers and nice prices read more

The party hostess totally overreacted. The flowers were fine, albeit pricey

Talk about bad customer service. My husband Silvio ordered arrangement for valentines day to be delivered to my office. After numerous calls to find status of where they were, 6:00 pm came around and office was closing. He called so many times upset to complain that they began not picking up his calls. He simply was calling at 6:00 pm to change delivery address because office was closing and they began screening his calls since they had no update. After 5 calls of no one picking up he called with *69 and they picked up they left him on hold forever and finally at 6:45 I got my bouquet. We won't be ordering from them again. Do not order for delivery you will be disappointed. read more

So I haven't been to the store but I called in an order, provided a list of flowers that I would like to be included in the arrangement and a price range and voila! Same day delivery and an amazing arrangement!!! Danielle is the floral designer who made my vase and it was exquisite, to say the least. The vase is beautiful, it has colored water inside and just an amazing array of vibrant colored flowers that I know my beautiful girlfriend will simply adore. Simply, no fuss, no drama, no hassles, superb service and custom designed arrangements! I will definitely be coming back for more! read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! We wanted to order flowers for my wedding. So I call them at around 3 or 4 pm to know what time they are closing, they say 6 pm. Knowing that fact, we arrive at 5.15pm, the front door was closed. We were puzzled, and a gentleman from the restaurant next door came to us and said we may be able to enter from the side/back door, so we did. As soon as we get inside, a rude woman yells "we're closed!", so I answer "no you're not, I called on purpose and you clearly stated you close at 6 pm", she responds "ok" as if she's doing us a favor, but I stop right then and there, my today husband and I look at each other and say "let's go". And we did! We got there in a very pleasant and excited mood, as we were shopping for our wedding, and left bitter. UN-BE-LIE-VA- BLE! Who do they think they are? They do not have the monopoly of floral business. read more

I needed to send flowers as a gift to someone in Miami Beach Florida. I am in New York City. This company is so perfect! Doing business with them, even over the phone, was a pleasure. Alexis did a magnificent job of putting together an arrangement of exactly what I wanted. They never tried to rip me off on price even though this is Mother's Day weekend I highly recommend them. I would never even call another florist in Miami. This company would be my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, etcetera choice. read more

Main point - friendly and accommodating staff. Good selection with a nice variety. Prices are a bit high, but so is the clientele. I walked in late in the day on a Friday to pick up a last minute arrangement. Between sticking to budget and putting up with the quick pace of the order this store did a great job. They let me use the staff bathroom and it was super clean. read more

"DONT ORDER FROM THIS FLOWER SHOP" For 3 years in a row, every time I ordered an arrangement it was never received correctly. Manager always claimed to make things right and actually made them worse. NOT SERVICE ORIENTED AT ALL. There are many other flower shops in Miami which provide exceptional service, so why deal with this sub par group of people. SAVE YOURSELF THE AGGRAVATION. read more

Swung by here to pick up some last minute V-day flowers. While I'd love to get a delivery, just picking flowers out of their fridge was just as fun. Great selection, awesome quality, and their designs are amazing. They run a bit pricey but looks so much better than the Publix assortment of flowers. read more

Pistils and Petals did an AMAZING job on arranging something special for my husbands birthday, even though I was very last minute. The flowers arrived on time, were stunning and exactly what I had asked for. My husband couldn't have been more surprised... and I couldn't have been happier! Everything went smoothly, and even better than planned! The staff is very attentive and helpful. Impeccable service! Will definitely be going back! read more

Ordered today $250 flowers for a business partner which were supposed to be delivered one block away from their shop. Talked with them around 9:30am and lady over phone told me it will be delivered around 11am, for sure before noon. Based on that I've made an order. They didn't make delivery till 2pm. My business partner left office after 12pm because it was her bddy. To make things worse, guys from Pistils & Petals were rude over the phone when I made inquires when they are going to make a delivery. I don't mind paying $250 for good job finished in timely manner. With their business model that money was wasted. read more

I ordered flowers on Valentine's Day go be delivered to a friend who's husband was recently critically injured. Anne went above and beyond, considering I'm in Oregon and they're in Miami, they were the only floral shop that was even willing to oblige my request. Beautiful displays and great design. I liked the things that were in here and they had great service. Picked up some flowers for a friend and have to say that I was very happy with the flowers and more importantly my friend liked them too.... The worst costumer service!! I ordered the first time, and I did not receive any notification if the order was delivered or not, I called them to verify and the phone automatically transfers to a customer service that has no idea of any orders. They promised to call back and never did, for one entire week. I tried ordering again - because the flowers look beautiful, and to give them a second chance. The same thing happened. I called before ordering to ask questions about the order, nobody was available to answer my question. They promised to call back and they never did. I ordered online and called back to check the status of the delivery - the same thing happened, the same woman with a irritating attitude answered asking for my complete name and number so someone could call me back. They don't call you back. don't loose your time with this flower shop. read more

I will never order from Pistils & Petals again. On 2/13, I ordered flowers for my girlfriend's birthday, which coincidentally happens to fall on Valentine's Day. When I placed the order via phone, I made it explicitly clear that the flowers were being delivered to my girlfriend's office and that she would be leaving work at 4pm. The lady I spoke to acknowledged that, and stated that she would ensure that they would be delivered in the "morning" to avoid any issues. At 2:15 pm on the 14th they had not yet been delivered. I called Pistils and Petals, and was told that they were "on the truck" and would be delivered "before 3pm". At 3:50 pm, they still had not been delivered. I called again, and was told that they would redirect the delivery to our home. At 11 pm we returned from dinner and went to the concierge in our building, who receives deliveries, and were told nothing had been delivered. I contacted Pistils and Petals at approximately 10am on the morning of the 15th, and was told that they were "very busy on the 14th" and had "lost track of some deliveries". I was assured that I would be issued a full refund immediately. At approximately 3:00pm on the 15th, I received another call from Pistils and Petals asking "where I would like my flowers to be delivered to". I told the gentleman who called that I no longer wanted them, as they were supposed to have been delivered the previous day, and that I had already been promised a refund. Today, on the 16th, I checked my credit card and the charges had gone from pending to posted. I contacted Pistils and Pedals again and was told by the lady who answered that she "wasn't sure what to do' and suggested that I dispute the charges with my credit card, which I did. I'm sorry, but if you are a florist, you should be able to ensure that you can meet the demand on your busiest day of the year. When you are no longer able to reliably fulfill orders, you should politely stop accepting them. Additionally, the fact that their staff does not know how to process a refund is ridiculous. I would highly recommend avoiding this merchant. read more

This is the 2nd time I purchased flowers to be delivered and they did NOT deliver as promised! I will NOT order from them ever again. A real shame! Never again! read more

Just bad service, don't order through email because they don't seem to be that organized. We had ordered a flower bouquet for my wife over a month before when we were eloping and when we arrived to pick it up they didn't have it. And even when they put it together the flowers weren't right and we ended up having to find a replacement bouquet. Very bad service overall. read more

My Wedding bouquets were nothing like what I ordered (and I included a photo with my order) 2 months in advance. So disappointed!

Garbage and expensive. I ordered an arrangement for delivery. When I was sent the pic of the arrangement from the receiver, I was embarrassed. I thought it would be much nicer for what I paid. Plus they charged me $15 for delivery to a location about 5 blocks from their store. I could have walked it over for $5. Buy a bouquet from Publix and deliver it yourself, save $75. Really, it was that bad. read more

Honestly the most unprofessional florists I have ever encountered. Multiple times I have ordered from then and gotten late deliveries, no-show, and now they tell me ONE HOUR before my expected delivery that they dot have flowers for my arrangement. Its a shame I have to give one star. This place is the worse. I will never order flowers from them again. The customer service is horrible! After waiting for 7 minutes and still not being greeted, the women behind the counter finally decided to help me. Over priced succulents, rude employees, and made up prices! I didn't want to leave empty handed so I picked out a $10 succulent, a $13 pot and proceeded to the counter. They didn't even offer to plant the succulent in the pot, so I asked and was charged $12 for them to put it in the pot which took 15 seconds. $35 for a succulent that is smaller than my hand, 30 minutes of my life, and rude people. i living near by, so I am not asking deliver ( looks like many people not happy there deliver from yelp member) I ONLY shopping IN-Store. I give 4 star !! amazing! Excellent Point: Window display very artist, very seasonal, very very attractive on Alton Road and this is the only flower store have great window flower art show. I know how to deco my place with some flower, so It is worth to go inside see any NEW Vase, New tech, New style. You can copy, you can draw and also you can buy some from here. Not shocking expensive for flower or material you can get here. honest! BUT, before you get bunch flower from whole food, publix. etc... This place have more high fashion choice for you. After placing an order, I called the next day to confirm delivery. They remembered taking the order but could not find it in their system and were asking me if they had been delivered! They were unapologetic and borderline rude. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. read more

Ordered flowers to be delivered to very close friends of mine this past Thursday. Spoke with one of my friends today Saturday and they had not mentioned that they had received anything from me. Needless to say flowers were not delivered so I called the store and spoke with the girl who took the order and she was worse than useless! Totally incompetent and lacking any customer service skills! I find out that she did not send the order and she had written down the credit card # wrong despite having it in her hands it's not like I read wrong to her. So she ripped up the order along with the card that I had written to be sent with the flowers. When I aked her what she planned in doing she basically said she could nothing as it was out of her control. I asked why she did not contact the client who they were going to she that's not their policy as she had not taken my number down. So very angry and frustrated the flowers did look nice in the store when I was in but they need to do something about customer service training. I have 2 sets of friends who use them on a frequent basis I do plan on letting them know my experience. Need to find another florist in Miami. read more
