Depending on your flower guy couldn't get any better! In search of celebrating an occasion, I wanted to get a nice arrangement. Joe answered my email and called me regarding my order to make sure all details were met. He even made sure my delivery was made at a specific time to ensure it was in safe hands. I don't live in Miami and wanted to deliver flowers to someone who was arriving from overseas and reporting to work on a ship. With COVID rules, things were a little complicated and two other random florists I called just said "no." Not Ismael at Express Flowers. He contacted security on the ship (probably five times over a few days) and made all the arrangements. The gorgeous flowers were delivered within 30 minutes of my girlfriend's arrival and she was SO surprised. I'm just giving them 5 stars for AMAZING customer service. I was looking for a company to deliver flowers and a bottle of champagne to a friend vacationing in Miami for her birthday during the Valentine's Day holiday weekend. I put in an order request on their website thinking it would take about 24 hours, but not even 2 minutes later someone was calling me back! I can't remember the gentleman's name that called me back, but he was awesome!! He called me to tell me that he was swamped with Valentine's Day orders, and would not be able to fill my order due to the amount of holiday orders and the distance of his shop and where I needed the arrangement delivered. But he did give me recommendations and referrals of where I could call that maybe able to help me since I lived out of state. He even said if I call around and no one is able to fill my order, he would do me a favor and make my delivery happen. I was able to fill my order, but wanted to take the time to give them a HUGE thumbs up! This is what real customer service looks like and I'm happy small businesses are still making things happen for their customers. I don't live in Miami and don't know anyone to send flowers to at this time, but I feel like I should make a random purchase or a donation just so I can support their business with my $$$ - especially during a pandemic. I called to place an order for sunflowers this morning and spoke to a very nice gentleman. He told me that he only gets sunflowers every other week and then asked me where I'm having the flowers delivered. I called in today to order VDay flowers. The guy who answered said he had a customer on the line and would call right back. I waited half and hour then i called back. He appologies and began to take my order. As he was taking my order i began small talk with him about the order and my reasons for sending. I expressed that i was in the dog house w/ my GF and i really need to send something special. The guy actually said to me, "im not going to do that. What if she wont take them?" My responce to that was, " what diffrence does it make, im paying for them!" He goes on to call me a F'ing AHole and hung up on me. I call back and ask to speak to the manager or owner so, He gives me a womens name and number to call. I call the owner and she expressed her concern and told me she would call me back. I didnt receive a call back until hours later. The funny thing is that the owner didnt call back, her husband did. The same guy who answers the phone in the first place. This guy was so freaking arrogant....he calls me and said to me, my wife said you wanted me to call you back. At that point i said good luck with your business dude! Later These guys are a joke. They may be hit or miss. I guess it depends on the day. I wont be calling these guys again! To bad its not 20 years ago....i would have driven over there and choked that guy out.
