I haven't yelped much this week because my mom has been in the hospital (well y'all have seen my checkins). She had a significant procedure today and I wanted to send her a classy get wel soon bouquet, especially because my mom likes gardening. Specifically, I wanted to order something a little more modern than the classic one you get at hospital gift shops. I found Blooming Flowers online, and they were able to guarantee delivery in the afternoon so Mima had a nice gift waiting when she came back. I appreciate their personal touch, as the florist even had hand wrote the note (instead of the computer printed stuff you get from the national chains.) After spending $150 the flowers died within 4 days!! As you can see there is plenty of water. The owner told me her flowers only last 4 days. I have ordered flowers from many different people and they don't last 4 days. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE AND QUAITY. NEVER AGAIN. I did call elizabeth. I'm a very positive person and I always try to see the bright side of things and this is the first time I've had such a short, horrid experience that I had to write this in the hope that someone in management will see it. I walked in and there was a child at the back counter. No acknowledgement even though there is a door chime and I said hello. Ten seconds later, a loose Yorkie dog came up to me and started barking at me aggressively. The person who is supposed to be attending the front is in the back saying things to the child but still no acknowledgment. After less than 60 seconds in the store, I felt so uncomfortable that I left. I hope the owner reads this and can correct this behavior. This happened around 1:05 PM On 9/20/2021 read more

I am beyond thrilled with the flowers I got from Blooming Flowers for Mother's Day. These flowers are exceptional, arranged with real skill and great taste. The flowers are vibrant and fresh (and apparently they smell good). I have to agree with all the other reviews: Amazing work, customer service, and communication. I felt like the person I spoke to really understood how special the occasion was for me and went out of her way to help me. The recipients of the flowers could not stop raving about the flowers. People who were passing by had to stop and ask for the florist's name. Wives had to take pictures of the flowers to let their husbands knows what kind of flowers they wanted to receive. These flowers received a lot of attention. This place is amazing. I did the research and it pointed me to Blooming Flowers as being one of the best florists in Miami. I fell in love with the pictures on their website but I was worried that the end result might not be as nice (some florists substitute with cheaper flowers or vases). Rest assured, the person who took my order sent me pictures of the final product, and it was even prettier than the pictures on the website. I'm so glad I found this place. read more

Looking for a flower arrangement for a funeral I decided to try Blooming Flowers in Key Biscayne in order to give business to a local shop. It took 10 minutes for personnel to find photos of flower arrangements, which they obtained from the website of another florist. In addition, they said their price was "a bit" more expensive than the price listed, $200 instead of $150. I agreed to the price and while placing the order, another employee stated the price was $280. When I complained he said the previous employee had made a mistake. Completely unethical and unprofessional behavior. I left without placing the order. read more

Ordered Mother's Day flowers for my mother in law along with a "box of Bon Bon chocolates." Flowers were delivered with two ghetto bags of chocolate you buy at a grocery store. When I called to inquire what happened, they said they ran out (mind you I placed order days before Mother's Day), and would go within a day back to my mother in law's to replace the chocolates with with what I actually ordered. Here we are 10 days later and they never picked up the chocolates. My mother in law returned them to the florist herself and they were rude to her offering no apology. I then called them to discuss refund and they were extremely short and rude, with an attitude. I will never order from them again, they simply do not care about customer service. Only issue is that the delivery did not come to the door (sounds like not a big problem but try walking with a huge arrangement filled with water across an underground garage from a security office in Key Colony!). The young lady said she did not know the "policy" of Key Colony??? Hard to imagine she has never delivered here before. And she was very unfriendly - almost rude - on the phone when I called to speak with her about it. ???? My verdict is still out. read more
